Abstract

Abstract There are several ways to appreciate literature, especially poetry genre besides activities to understand the fundamental and elements contained in the literature. One of them is paraphrasing the song lyrics. Paraphrases activities were taught in schools ranging from Elementary, Junior High, Senior High and Universities. The results of this study can be used as the concrete illustration or creative and innovative literature learning alternative ways in literature appreciating activity. Paraphrase activity of poetry genre can be done through bound paraphrasing and free paraphrasing. This study uses qualitative descriptive method by analyzing the data and presenting it straightly. The result shows that the song lyric of “sakitnya tuh di sini” contains of disappointment because of infidelity lover or disappointed of betrayed love. Key Words: Literature, Paraphrase, Song Lyric.

Abstract

The success of advertisement is viewed from the number of changes that appear in the environment or  the quantity of product that society need. The categories above are achieved due to the language role as a communication media. The advertisement language in news paper must be able to persuade, and generate people to act and buy the products informed in the news paper. The language should be interesting, effective, logic, well order, and appropriate with the space. The word, phrase, or sentence choosen have to be delivered completely, precisely, and clearly. The success of an advertisement depends on  how the selection and the use of word, phrase, and sentence could persuade and generate the reader. Interesting, effectivity of sturcture and meaning, logic, space ordering, and illustration are elements that have to be considered. Keywords: language, creative strategy,and advertisement.

Abstract

Many staff of Wayakrui Banyumas, Pringsewu could not deliver agenda and speech well. In delivering agenda, they got difficulties in selecting effective sentence, intonation, and performing agende in front of the audience. Moreover the problem occured in speech are speech ability sistematically, sentence use, and the ability in developing speech content. This dedication aims to assist village staff in order to be able in delivering agenda and speech well. The method used in this services are (1) preparing: observing  activity in the location, discussing with the village staff, preparing training material, and facility; (2) action: delivering material about master of ceremony and speech, then practicing both of them; (3) evaluation: giving feed back of training acitivty. The service result shows that 80% of staff in Wayakrui Banyumas are motivated and they are able to deliver agende and speech well. Keywords: Speech, Master of Ceremony

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu masih terdapat siswa yang belum mampu menulis pantun berdasarkan ciri-ciri pantun dan struktur pantun dengan baik dan benar. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa masih belum memahami materi puisi pantun sehingga hasilnya kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis pantun pada siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes berupa pemberian tugas menulis pantun. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 26 siswa . Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa dalam menulis pantun yaitu 82. Siswa dengan kategori penilaian sangat baik berjumlah 15 siswa dengan hasil persentase 57,70%. Siswa dengan kategori penilaian baik berjumlah 10 siswa dengan hasil persentase 38,4%. Siswa dengan kategori penilaian sangat baik berjumlah 15 siswa dengan hasil persentase 57,70%. Siswa dengan kategori penilaian cukup berjumlah 1 siswa dengan hasil persentase 3,9%..

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memfokuskan permasalahan pada sebagian besar siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis teks pidato persuasi. Teks pidato persuasive perlu diajarkan kepada siswa, karena bertujuan untuk membujuk atau mempengaruhi dan memberikan kedekatan emosi positif yang dapat memotivasi pendengar (siswa). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks pidato persuasif berdasarkan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan serta ejaan bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.Data penelitian ini didapat dari hasil tes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 75 orang yang terdiri atas kelas IX A, IX B. dan  IX C. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan tergolong sangat baik ada 4 siswa, baik 12 siswa, cukup 26 siswa, dan kurang 33 siswa.

Abstract

Apresiasi sastra merupakan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang terdapat di Sekolah Dasar. Apresiasi melibatkan pikiran, perasaan, penghayatan, analisis, evaluasi, hingga deskripsi. Mengapresiasi puisi berarti sadar akan nilai mengenai puisi. Pembelajaran apresiasi sastra hendaknya disesuaikan dengan tema yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian dimaksudkan untuk memahami dan mengaplikasikan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra melalui pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Hasil dan pembahasan dapat dikatakan bahwa pembelajaran apresiasi sastra dapat diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran tematik.Kata kunci: Apresiasi, Sastra, Pembelajaran, dan Tematik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini (1) untuk mendeskripsikan macam-macam variasi Bahasa Sosiolek yang terdapat di berbagai akun media sosial  seseorang; (2) untuk memberikan perbaikan kesalahan berbahasa dari berbagai variasi bahasa di akun media sosial seseorang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini berupa variasi Bahasa Sosiolek yang ada dalam berbagai kiriman akun media sosial. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiolingusitik yang dikemukakan Chaer. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data berbagai ragam variasi bahasa seperti: variasi akrolek, variasi basilek, variasi vulgar, variasi slang,variasi argot,variasi jargon, variasi kolokial dan variasi ken.Kata Kunci : Variasi Bahasa, Sosiolek, Media Sosial

Abstract

Abstrak Semiotik merupakan ilmu yang mengkaji tentang tanda-tanda icon (ikon), indekx (indeks), dan symbol (simbol). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan semiotika berupa icon (ikon), indekx (indeks), dan symbol (simbol) pada stiker di media sosial pada Grup whatsaap PK IMM FKIP UMPRI tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis, yang dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis tanda-tanda berupa icon (ikon), indekx (indeks), dan symbol (simbol) pada berbagai karakteristik di media sosial whatsaap. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian dapat diketahui, bahwa stiker di media sosial pada Grup whatsaap PK IMM FKIP UMPRI tahun 2023 memiliki 8 karakteristik yaitu: a) stiker whatsapp untuk memberikan dukungan b) stiker untuk mempertegas isi pesan, c) stiker whatsapp untuk mengungkapkan perasaan sedih, d) stiker whatsapp untuk mengungkapkan perasaan bahagia, e) stiker whatsapp untuk menyindir seseorang, f) stiker whatsapp untuk memberikan semangat, g) stiker whatsapp untuk permohonan maaf, dan h) stiker whatsapp untuk mengungkapkan perasaan syukur. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa banyak ditemukan tanda semiotika berupa icon (ikon) berjumlah 23 stiker, indekx (indeks) berjumlah 28 stiker, dan symbol (simbol) berjumlah 28 stiker dari berbagai karakteristik stiker di media sosial whatsaap. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) in improving the academic writing skills of sixth-semester Bahasa Indonesia students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu. We used a quasi-experimental design to address on the effects of PBL on improving Bahasa Indonesia wtiting skill among university students. This involved 32 students participating in PBL activities for one semester. Pre- and post-intervention tests measured writing quality, engagement, and critical thinking skills. Statistical studies demonstrated a notable enhancement in writing quality after the intervention, as shown by paired t-tests (???? < 0.05). Additionally, groups that participated in various problem-based learning (PBL) activities had higher levels of engagement, as indicated by ANOVA (???? < 0.05). The examination of observations and reflective essays revealed several prominent themes, including heightened passion, improved critical thinking, and a higher drive to learn and use Bahasa Indonesia. The study's findings indicate that Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a potential method to improve the competency of university students in Bahasa Indonesia. PBL encourages greater involvement and the development of skills in the language. Practically, Project-Based Learning (PBL) enhances students' writing skills and promotes a profound comprehension of language by offering genuine learning experiences and chances for collaborative inquiry. This approach encourages students to actively participate in language usage in real-world situations. These findings add to the wider discussion on innovative teaching methods in higher education and have implications for developing curriculum and instructional practices that aim to enhance educational results.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to describe the forms of use of variations in loanwords from regional and foreign languages through the process of adoption, adaptation and translation contained in the novel "Ranah 3 Warna" by Ahmad Fuadi. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The results of the research show that there are 171 loan words from regional and foreign languages. There are 65 loanwords from regional languages, namely: 1) 2 words (1%) were found in the adoption form of adoption, 1 word was found in the Minang language (West Sumatra), and 1 word was found in Javanese, 2) 18 words were found in the adaptation form (9). %) from the Minang language (West Sumatra), 3) The translator's absorption form found 45 words (22.5%) from Minang language (West Sumatra) 38 words, Javanese 1 word, and Sundanese 6 words. For loanwords from foreign languages, there are 106, namely: 1) 11 words (5.5%) of adopted loan forms were found in English, 2 words in Arabic, 2 words in Dutch, and 1 word in Greek, 2) form Adapted absorption was found in 69 words (34.5%) from English 26 words, Arabic 17 words, Dutch 15 words, and Greek 11 words, 3) Translator's absorption form found 26 words (13%) from English 24 words , Arabic 1 word, and Greek 1 word. This research shows that the most frequently found absorption process is the adaptation process from a foreign language, namely English.
