   This study aims to find out whether social media can influence the social ability of the second semester students of the Faculty of Engineering of UNMAS Denpasar PSDKU Mataram, how social media can influence their social skills, whatever influences or changes that can be caused. This research is qualitative - explains the social phenomena that occur in society. The total sample is 15 second semester students of the faculty of engineering UNMAS Denpasar PSDKU Mataram. Abstract

      This research is an example of applied research. The aim of applied research is to increase scientific knowledge with a practical aim. In other words, the results of applied research will be immediately used for other practical purposes. The samples of this research are private class students who are taught English directly by the researcher. The number of samples of this research is 4 students who sit in grades 9 to 12 in high school. The research method used is observation, evaluation, and direct-interviews with the samples, then the data obtained are analyzed comprehensively. The result of this research; it is correct that by using the reading repetition strategy can improve the English vocabulary skills of the samples that have been appointed

Abstract

This research examines the relationship between academic achievement and political views in Indonesia, addressing a significant gap in the existing literature within the Indonesian context. With the country's diverse socio-political landscape and rapid educational developments, understanding how academic attainment influences political perspectives is crucial for informing policy and fostering democratic engagement. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data was collected through a cross-sectional survey distributed among a diverse sample of participants representing various socio-economic backgrounds, educational levels, and geographic regions across Indonesia. The survey instrument included measures to assess academic achievement, political views, socio-economic factors, and other relevant variables.Preliminary analysis indicates a significant correlation between academic achievement and political views, with individuals of higher educational attainment tending to hold more liberal and progressive political perspectives. However, the relationship is nuanced and influenced by contextual factors such as socio-economic background, geographic location, and access to information.This study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the relationship between academic achievement and political views specifically within the Indonesian context. The findings have implications for educational policy, democratic participation, and social cohesion, highlighting the importance of addressing disparities in educational access and quality to promote informed and inclusive political discourse.

Abstract

The aim of implementing this service is to increase community participation in the rural road concrete rebate program. Implementation methods include deliberation, inventory and preparation of needs, implementation and assistance with concrete rebates. The concrete rebate program for village roads was implemented with the participation of the local community. The local community also has environmental awareness, but is more enthusiastic and aware of the importance of cooperation in making the village program a success after deliberations were held between the village government, residents and the team from the university. The concrete rebate begins with inventory and preparation of needs, then continues with the implementation of the rebate with the initial steps, namely leveling the surface of the road to be rebated, installing mall wood for the boundaries and size of the rebate, installing iron and starting the rebate or concreting. The preparation and implementation process can be carried out due to the participation and self-help of the local community, so it can be said that the community really participates in the concrete rebate program

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to participate in the maintenance of the Batujai dam, Central Lombok Regency. The method for carrying out this service is to be directly involved in dam maintenance, especially regarding gates, channels, vegetation, walls and flood control. The service carried out is limited to light, simple and short maintenance such as maintenance of secondary channel sluice gates. Sluice gate maintenance is limited to cleanliness and lubrication. Other maintenance that can be carried out is related to the vegetation around the dam. Large amounts of vegetation also cannot be carried out due to time, cost and equipment constraints. Maintenance of walls, channels and irrigation systems requires time, money and adequate tools so it cannot yet be realized

Abstract

Gamification, the incorporation of game elements into non-game contexts, has emerged as a promising strategy to enhance motivation and engagement in English language learning. This type of research is library research. The research results show that, the synthesis of theoretical insights, empirical findings, and instructional considerations highlights the importance of Gamification in English Language Learning. The significance of incorporating gaming aspects into language education is highlighted by the convergence of theoretical foundations, empirical data, and instructional design considerations
