Abstract

Abstrak. Tutorial Tatap Muka (TTM) merupakan salah satu bantuan belajar yang diberikan oleh Universitas Terbuka kepada mahasiswa. Selain TTM, ada juga bantuan belajar lainya yang diberikan oleh Universitas Terbuka yaitu Tutorial Online (TUTON) dan Tutorial Web Binar. Dari ketiga jenis bantuan belajar tersebut yang masih menggunakan presensi manual seperti konvensial adalah Tutorial Tatap Muka (TTM), sedangkan Tutorial Online (TUTON) dan Tutorial Web Binar sudah menggunakan presensi online berbasis system pada aplikasi Moodle!. Karena latar belakang diatas maka diperlukan sebuah aplikasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di Universitas Terbuka, perancangan menggunakan metode Waterfall, pada tahap awal penelitian akan menghasilkan keluaran rancangan struktur sistem, rancangan Database, dan rancangan user Interface dalam bentuk Mockup Kata Kunci. Abstract

Aplikasi pelatihan dan workshop merupakan sistem informasi berbasis website yang memberikan informasi mengenai adanya acara seminar baru yang akan diselenggarakan disertai dengan pendaftaran seminar tersebut. Peserta yang mendaftar merupakan anggota yang telah melakukan registrasi dari sistem informasi ini. Panitia seminar dibentuk oleh kepala unit dibantu oleh staff dan adminnya dengan membuatkan akun login ke sistem. (1) Sesuai dengan jadwal kerja di Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Terbuka, khususnya di unit Pusat Penelitian dan Keilmuan (PPK) LPPM melakukan kegiatan sebanyak 55 (lima puluh lima) per tahun dimana disetiap kegiatan, peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan akan mendapatkan sertifikat, (2) Proses pembuatan dan validasi sertifikat masih menggunakan cara manual sehingga membutuhkan banyak waktu dan tenaga yang diperlukan. (3) Atas dasar proses yang lambat tersebut maka Tim peneliti menganggap Pusat Penilitian dan Keilmuan (PPK) LPPM perlu mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis website agar dapat menjadi sistem informasi untuk mendapatkan sertifikat yang cepat dan tepat di lingkungan Universitas Terbuka. (4) Penelitian menggunakan skema penugasan dan multi years selama tiga tahun. (5) Keluaran dari penelitian penugasan ini adalah artikel, HKI, dan prototipe aplikasi. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif, dengan format studi kasus yang mana bertujuan untuk melukiskan atau menggambarkan, memberikan infromasi dan penjelasan tentang masalah yang diteliti berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan. Penelitian ini mengunakan dua teknik pengumpulan data, yakni data primer, dan data sekunder. Pada tahap analisis, kami akan menggali informasi dengan cara purposive sampling dengan memilih informan yaitu ketua lembaga LPPM, Kepala Unit PPK LPPM, dan dosen Univeritas Terbuka.

Abstract

Abstract — Dosen saat ini diharapkan menjadi pakar dalam bidang kajian ilmunya melalui proses penelitian, kemudian disampaikan ke mahasiswa melalui pengajaran, dan selain itu dibagikan ke masyarakat lewat pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Keluaran dari kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian adalah Buku, Artikel, HKI, aplikasi dan lain-lain. Sesuai dengan peraturan Rektor Universitas Terbuka Nomor : 162 Tahun 2019 tentang perhargaan atas karya publikasi dan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) di lingkungan Universitas Terbuka, dalam surat tersebut dijelaskan setiap dosen berhak mendapatkan penghargaan untuk setiap publikasi yang telah dilakukan, hanya saja saat ini proses pemberian penghargaan masih menggunakan cara manual, dosen mengisi form yang disediakan fakultas. Atas dasar proses yang lambat tersebut maka Tim peneliti menganggap Universitas Terbuka perlu mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web, agar dapat menjadi sistem informasi bagi dosen untuk mengupdate proses pengusulan penghargaan atas karya publikasi dan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) di lingkungan Universitas Terbuka. Penelitian menggunakan skema penugasan dan multi years selama dua tahun. Keluaran dari penelitian penugasan ini adalah artikel, HKI, dan prototipe aplikasi. In accordance with the rules of the Open University Chancellor Number: 162 of 2019 concerning awards for publication works and Intellectual Property Rights within the Universitas Terbuka environment, the letter explains that each lecturer is entitled to receive an award for each publication that has been made, It's just that currently the awarding process is still using manual methods, lecturers fill out the forms provided by the faculty. Based on the slow process, the research team considers that Universitas Terbuka needs to develop a website based application in order to become an information system for lecturers to update the process of pro-posing awards for publication works and Intellectual Property Rights within the Universitas Terbuka. The study uses a two year assignment and multi year scheme. The outputs of this assignment research are articles, IPRs, and application prototypes. Abstract — Sistem Terdistribusi adalah Sebuah sistem dimana komponen hardware atau software-nya terletak dalam suatu jaringan komputer dan saling berkomunikasi dan berkoordinasi mengunakan message parsing. Di dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan wawancara untuk menganalisa dan mengevaluasi mengenai sistem yang berjalan di Koperasi Indosat. Tujuan penilitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi kendala system yang terpisah secara Clustering dan menyatukan sumber daya ( Dalam Hal ini adalah sumber daya Komputasi), kedalam satu System gabungan yang Terkoordinasi dengan kapasitas yang jauh melebihi dari kapasitas individual komponen-komponennya. Abstract

The internet of things is one of the pillars of Industry 4.0 so that competence in concepts and practices is very useful. Alumni are an inseparable part of the world of education, but often the existence of alumni is not well organized, so there is still a mismatch of alumni data with the existing reality. Every year, the Open University graduates thousands of students from various study programs. After graduating from college, data and information about Alumni are difficult to obtain and communication between alumni is not going well, because currently UT does not have an alumni portal like some other universities have. so that with this Portal alumni can communicate well and exchange information. Currently UT Alumni only exchange information through social media such as WhatsApp Group, Facebook, etc. And this cannot be controlled by UT. Therefore we need a Portal that is able to be a solution to these problems. This study aims to create an Alumni Portal with the application of the Internet of Things in the form of an online website using the Research and Development (R&D) method. Application development is limited to prototypes because further study is required for implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to test and validate the ideal work practice model for Universitas Terbuka Taxation students through collaboration with industry partners. The research method used a mixed approach, involving 100 students and 20 industry partners. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test competency, partner questionnaires, and student reflective reports. The results of the statistical test showed a significant increase in student competence, with the average pre-test score of 64.2 and the post-test increased to 83.7 (p < 0.01). Qualitative analysis from 20 industry partners indicates a satisfaction rate of 92% with student job readiness. In addition, 87% of students feel that the work practice model provides real and relevant experience. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model in improving the career readiness and quality of vocational graduates in a distance learning environment. This model is recommended to be widely applied with adjustment of local context and industry needs

Abstract

Higher education plays an important role in preparing students for the workforce.  This article looks at modelling ideal work practices for students with a focus on improving the quality of their education and career preparation. The main objective is to build a conceptual and operational framework to gain a solid basis for investigating the main factors related to the ideal work practice model that leads to student satisfaction academically. The final result of this proposal is also expected to be able to produce variables in order to make online learning better meet the needs of students. For this reason, this proposal will develop an operational model to be tested by referring to the conception of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). In the end, as the final result, this study is expected to give birth to an integrated idea, how to implement more effective work practices in the future seen from the student side. Then, what should colleges prepare and do? To achieve that, this study will use the Mixed Methods. Precisely exploratory design (exploratory design). That is, the study was carried out with a qualitative approach first. Then proceed with a quantitative approach. The end result of this qualitative process will produce operational thinking shells that can be continued the quantitative analysis process. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of concepts and literature on ideal work practices in online learning seen through a combination of UTAUT conceptions.

Abstract

The issuance and verification of diplomas is an important process in the world of education. However, this process often encounters obstacles, such as difficulties in collecting and processing data, as well as errors in data input. Therefore, some educational institutions have developed online diploma applications to facilitate the process. This study aims to discuss the development of online diploma applications, their benefits and implications, as well as the challenges and opportunities in the future development of this technology. The research method used is a case study of an educational institution, using a qualitative approach and Agile Development method. In this study, a prototype of an online diploma application has been developed that allows students to access and download their diplomas online and facilitates the diploma verification process by relevant parties. This application is equipped with a good data security and privacy system to ensure user data security. In conclusion, online diploma applications have the potential to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the diploma issuance and verification process. However, the development of this application also requires serious attention to data security and privacy aspects.
