Abstract

Islamisasi Ilmu merupakan langkah yang ditempuh oleh beberapa pakar dalam mengkritisi ilmu pengetahuan yang mengesampingkan aspek-aspek keagamaan. Seiring dengan hal ini, maka penelitian ini dalam rangka membahas tentang Islamisasi ilmu menurut Isma>'i>l Raji al-Fa>ruqi>, salah satu cendikiawan Muslim yang menguraikan aspek-aspek Islamisasi ilmu. al-Fa>ruqi> merumuskan aspek-aspek Islamisasi Ilmu berangkat dari dasar beberapa dalil agama, hingga kemudian mencetuskan metode serta cara kerja. Dalam tujuan yang ingin dicapai untuk membaca konsep tersebut, pada penelitian ini diuraikan secara analitis, dari sumber data primer dan sekunder. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa Islamisasi ilmu berfungsi sebagai filter,model dialog dan konfirmasi ilmu dan agama. Sehingga menciptakan sebuah gagasan bahwa aspek ilmu dan agama bukanlah hal yang terpisah, melainkan berada dalam ranah yang sama bersifat dialogis. Islamisasi ilmu berusaha menyaring ilmu-ilmu dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Ini juga merupakan bentuk tipologi dialog antara ilmu pengetahuan modern dan nilai-nilai religius. Selain itu, dilihat sebagai bentuk konfirmasi ilmiah Islam, al-Fa>ruqi> merumuskan Islamisasi Ilmu atas Asas Islam yaitu Tawh } id . Cara kerjanya mengacu pada lima prinsip tawh } idatau keesaan, yaitu: keesaan Tuhan, kesatuan alam semesta, kesatuan kebenaran dan kesatuan ilmu, kesatuan kehidupan dan kesatuan umat manusia, dengan keyakinan bahwa dari semua tujuan akhir, kehendak dan keinginan yang dibangun oleh manusia bermuara akhirnya adalah Tuhan.

Abstract

This research investigates the differences and similarities between educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy. Western educational philosophy tends to derive from the boundless rationality of human thinking, raising doubts due to its limitations on human reason and separating religion from scientific knowledge (Anthropocentric). On the other hand, Islamic educational philosophy is grounded in the concept of God (Theocentric), with goals closely related to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, eliminating doubts through faith and revelation. Despite fundamental differences, this study also highlights the similarities between the two philosophies. Both are conceptual frameworks for thinking about education, and specific theories converge. Nativism, Empiricism, and Convergence Theory serve as meeting points between educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy. This study will discuss the practical implications of these differences and similarities in the context of modern education, exploring the potential integration of Western and Islamic thought in designing holistic and balanced learning strategies. The results of this research are expected to provide profound insights into how the approaches of educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy can positively contribute to the formation of an inclusive and holistic educational paradigm.

Abstract

This research focuses on the response of Ilmu Kalam to contemporary theological challenges, particularly related to atheism, secularism, and modern scientific developments. The underlying concern of this study is how Ilmu Kalam can maintain its relevance in addressing increasingly complex theological issues amidst the advancements in science and the dominance of atheistic views in contemporary academic circles. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a literature review of the thoughts of key figures in Ilmu Kalam, alongside critiques of atheism and secularism, to analyze how Ilmu Kalam responds to contemporary theological challenges. The main finding of this research indicates that Ilmu Kalam continues to transform by integrating reason and revelation to address contemporary theological challenges, although it still faces obstacles in innovating and critically responding to modern issues.

Abstract

This research examines Madurese ethics as a basis for building harmonious relationships between humans, nature and God, based on the social and cultural values ​​inherent in society. Through Im-Manuel Kant's transcendental and deontological ontological approach, using literature review research methods. This research analyzes the implementation of Madurese ethics in human interactions by highlighting the carok phenomenon which reflects social dynamics. In addition, the rokat tase' phenomenon shows a connection with nature, underlining the importance of balance and respect for the environment. In the context of the relationship with God, the samman phenomenon is an illustration of the application of ethical principles in the religious life of Madurese people. The findings of this research confirm the significance of Madurese ethics in forming harmonious and sustainable relationship patterns, in line with the universal rational principles put forward by Immanuel Kant.

Abstract

This research focuses on examining the pilgrimage tradition to the tomb of Mbah Boyopatih among the Muslim community in Medang Village, Glagah District, Lamongan. The main problems addressed in this study are: 1) What is the history of Mbah Boyopatih? and 2) What motivates visitors to perform pilgrimage to the tomb of Mbah Boyopatih? This study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, aiming to gain a comprehensive understanding of the pilgrimage tradition through data collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this research conclude that the tomb of Mbah Boyopatih is highly venerated due to the great contributions of the Waliyullah and his extraordinary karomah (spiritual charisma). Mbah Boyopatih was a disciple of Kanjeng Sunan Giri. Within the site, there is a sacred spring known as jublang or a catfish pond, which is believed to cure various illnesses, especially skin diseases, through the consumption of the catfish. The community has sanctified the catfish as a form of respect for Mbah Boyopatih and his struggles in spreading Islam. The motivation for visiting the tomb lies in fulfilling values deeply embedded in the worldview of the community, including the belief that the spirit of the saint continues to protect the surrounding environment.
