Abstract

The rapid development of information technology demands digitalization across various public service sectors, including child health systems at Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Posts). Posyandu Kenanga Depok conducts monthly child health monitoring activities to ensure nutritional status and child development. However, the manual recording system for Child Health Cards (Kartu Sehat Balita/KSB) creates various operational problems. Posyandu cadres experience difficulties in data recording processes, information storage, and monthly report generation. Additionally, paper-based KSB held by parents are prone to loss and damage, resulting in poorly documented child development data. This research aims to develop a web-based KSB application to address these problems using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The RAD method was chosen for its ability to accelerate system development processes by actively involving users in every development stage. The application was developed using PHP programming language, CodeIgniter 4 framework, MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code editor. The system is designed with three user levels: Posyandu cadres for managing child data and generating reports, parents for monitoring child development, and doctors for managing immunization and vitamin data. Development results demonstrate that the application successfully automates child data recording processes, facilitates monthly report generation, and enables parents to access child development information in real-time. The system also provides growth chart visualizations and immunization schedule reminders to support optimal child health monitoring.

Abstract

This study presents the development of a decision support system designed to enhance the transparency and efficiency of scholarship recipient selection at Universitas Tama Jagakarsa. Utilizing the Simple Additive Weighting method, the system integrates key eligibility criteria—grade point average, parental income, and number of dependents—to compute preference scores that inform decision-making. The system was implemented using VB.NET and MySQL, following a waterfall model for development. Functional testing through black-box methods confirmed the system’s operational reliability, while user validation indicated strong acceptance and usability. Results demonstrate that the SAW algorithm effectively ranks applicants based on predefined weights and normalizations, offering a more objective and scalable alternative to manual selection processes. The system’s ability to process multi-criteria inputs and generate transparent, reproducible outcomes is a substantial contribution to scholarship administration in higher education. Findings suggest that integrating decision models into administrative processes can mitigate biases and improve institutional accountability. However, the study is limited by its focus on quantitative criteria and the use of a single decision-making algorithm. Future work should incorporate qualitative factors and assess alternative methods. The study affirms the potential of data-driven tools to support equitable access to educational opportunities, particularly for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Abstract

This community engagement initiative, conducted as a collaboration program of several lecturers from various universities, aimed to strengthen the financial management capacities of Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Sufaini, a grassroots religious education center in Ciputat, South Tangerang. The institution, which offers free Qur’anic instruction to underprivileged children, faced persistent challenges in maintaining accurate and transparent financial records due to the absence of standardized accounting practices and limited technological literacy among its administrators. In response, a structured training program was designed and implemented to provide foundational knowledge of accounting principles and to introduce mobile-based digital bookkeeping tools that could be directly integrated into the institution’s daily operations. The methodology of the program emphasized participatory learning, contextualized instruction, and hands-on practice using actual institutional data. Evaluation was conducted through qualitative methods such as observation and dialogue. Approximately 85% of participants demonstrated significant improvements in preparing standardized financial reports and greater awareness of transparency and accountability. The outcomes revealed both the potential and limitations of digital financial literacy interventions in low-resource educational settings. While the training effectively introduced essential skills, sustainability remains contingent on continued support, institutional commitment, and access to adequate technology. This initiative contributes to broader discourses on community-based capacity building and highlights the role of higher education institutions in facilitating inclusive development through practical, needs-driven knowledge transfer. The experience at TPA Sufaini serves as a model for replicable interventions in similar contexts, with implications for scaling and long-term policy integration within informal education systems.

Abstract

In this modern era, technology is advancing rapidly, allowing for the search of tofu factories using smartphones. This study aims to develop an application to locate tofu factories in Depok City utilizing GIS (Geographic Information System) technology and GPS (Global Positioning System) integrated with the Android Google Maps platform. The application is designed to facilitate the public in finding the nearest tofu factory locations. This Android-based tofu factory search application employs Location Based Service (LBS) methods to provide real-time location information. The primary objective of this research is to simplify the process for the community in Depok to find tofu factories, thereby improving efficiency and saving time. Additionally, this application is expected to assist tofu factory owners in attracting more customers by providing accurate and accessible location information. The methodology includes literature review, direct observation, and application development using Java programming language in Android Studio. The results show that the application significantly simplifies the process for the community in Depok to find tofu factories, improving efficiency and saving time. Abstract

This study aims to design and develop the application of web -based employee payroll systems at Mitra Tani Mandiri Foundation using the Waterfall method. Efficient and accurate payroll process is a crucial factor in organizational management, especially in Mitra Tani Mandiri Foundation which has employees with various responsibilities and roles. The waterfall method was chosen because of the systematic development stage, starting from the needs analysis to the maintenance stage. The needs analysis phase involves collecting data related to the existing payroll process, employee needs, and management requirements. The design stage includes planning an intuitive user interface, structured database design, and a comprehensive system implementation plan. Implementation is done by building applications according to the specifications that have been designed, involving programming, developing databases, and integration of various components. The testing phase aims to ensure the application is functioning properly, accurately, and according to purpose. The results of this study are web -based payroll systems applications that are expected to improve the efficiency of the payroll process, reduce the potential for human errors, and provide transparency of salary information to employees. The implementation of this application is expected to have a positive impact on the management of human resources and the overall operations of the foundation

Abstract

Budhi Pratama Gedong Clinic faces significant challenges in the manual handling of patient data and report recording, leading to inefficiencies and slow operational processes. To address these issues, the development of a computerized system is essential for collecting, storing, and processing data to generate actionable information that can enhance healthcare services. This computerized system is also expected to reduce operational costs by minimizing the reliance on paper-based records. Located at Jalan Raya Tengah No. 26 RT 6/RW 1 Gedong Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, the clinic provides various health services, including medication procurement, which currently relies on manual processes. The implementation of a web-based service system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology with XAMPP is projected to streamline operational processes and improve data reporting. The objectives of this study include facilitating easier patient registration, expediting medical record retrieval, simplifying medication management, and increasing the accuracy of patient payment processing. Furthermore, the developed system aims to integrate a comprehensive database to efficiently document and manage data on patients, doctors, clinic staff, and medications, thereby providing a user-friendly platform for healthcare providers and enhancing overall patient care

Abstract

The Maneungteung Tourism Area in Cirebon Regency holds strong potential as a local attraction, yet the absence of an integrated information system limits visitor access to reliable tourism data. This study aims to develop an Android-based Geographic Information System (GIS) integrated with Location-Based Service (LBS) technology to enhance information accessibility, spatial accuracy, and management efficiency. The research employs the Agile Software Development approach using the Extreme Programming (XP) model, which emphasizes flexibility, iterative improvement, and continuous collaboration between developers and users. The system was built using Android Studio with Java as the main language, integrating Google Maps API for real-time spatial visualization and Firebase for database management and authentication. Functional and user acceptance testing demonstrated that the application runs reliably, displaying accurate destination information, navigation routes, and booking features. Administrators can manage data dynamically through a synchronized backend system. The integration of GIS and LBS technologies successfully improves tourism service delivery, promotes user engagement, and supports the digital transformation of tourism management in Cirebon Regency, particularly in the Maneungteung area.
