Abstract

Fazlur Rahman is a man who has various thoughts related to the issue of the Qur'an and Hadith, Rahman's presence in the list of names of Islamic thinkers brings something new to the renewal of Islam. Appear as a brilliant figure in formulating the method of interpretation of the Koran. Fazlur Rahman provides a more convincing method of interpretation, which lies in the use of philosophy, social sciences and humanities. The conceptual framework that Rahman built is often called the double movement hermeneutics. This is because in the process it involves a double movement, namely from the problem of the present situation to the time the Koran was revealed and from the time of the Koran back to the present problem. In this method the emphasis is on the basic ideas of the Koran or its moral ideals compared to the specific legal. Another term in the meaning that Fazlur Rahman puts forward the content of the universal meaning rather than the literal-particular meaning. The method formulated by Rahman finally not only contributed to the development of the Qur'anic interpretation method, but also influenced the ijtihad process in the context of answering the social-religious problems of the present era.

Abstract

The study of terrorism today still raises various problems, aside from the factors that are considered to have an important role in the emergence of terrorism which is now the investigation of experts from various scientific disciplines, also no less important is the definition of terrorism itself. Debate about the definition of terrorism is still difficult to reach an agreement, even though the definition is important for the filter of certain types of actions and groups to be included or not in the terrorism category. Jurgen Habermas is a man who has a variety of thoughts related to humanities, the presence of Habermas in the list of names of Western thinkers brings something new to the renewal of Western theory. Appear as a brilliant figure in formulating critical theory. Jurgen Habermas gave a new look that was more critical, including giving a critical view of the terrorist events that occurred. according to Jurgen Habermas, which can lead to the emergence of terrorism is because it is distorted in communication. In addition to modernity, secularization can also lead to violence where fundamentalism wants the return of traditional styles, where religion can expand in everything. Abstract

The development of the country through tourism development is currently a priority program for the central and regional governments. This is not unusual considering the country's economic condition which has experienced a decline after the Covid pandemic over the last two years. The development of tourism villages carried out by the government of Sekapuk Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency is one part of the village government's plan to improve the community's economy. The main problem currently being faced is the lack of skills and productivity of community micro, small and medium enterprises as well as the management of PIRT and the legality of MSME products. that has been produced. Empowerment with the title development of tourism villages based on community empowerment towards economic independence aims to 1) alleviate community poverty through sustainable development of community micro, small and medium enterprises, 2) assist in analyzing the potential and realization of micro, small and medium enterprises oriented towards community empowerment towards economic independence. The approach used in this empowerment is a collaborative PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach between researchers and the community to formulate joint problems, plan and carry out joint actions to solve existing problems in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The results of observations and extracting data that we conducted for the people of Kepodang Hamlet for thirty-four days, showed various phenomena that occurred. Among these phenomena, we took one of the phenomena, namely the less than optimal teaching staff of TPQ Al-Hidayah. The lack of teaching staff resulted in learning at TPQ Al-Hidayah being less than optimal. This problem was used as the focus of research in the 2018 service activities. In an effort to overcome this problem, together with the TPQ management held a training activity entitled "Training for Competency Improvement of Teachers of the Al-Qur'an al-Hidayah Educational Park through the Ummi Method" as a teaching training activity. -Qur'an with the Ummi Method. The training was delivered by Mr. Nur Syamsi, S.Pd. and Mr. Yanto, M.Pd who is a representative of the Ummi Foundation Lamongan with the hope of improving the quality and quantity of teaching staff at TPQ Al-Hidayah. This activity was attended by about 75% of the number of invitations distributed. As a result, the invitees were quite enthusiastic and hoped that there would be an advanced training program that could be implemented as an initial step in improving the teaching competence of TPQ Al-Hidayah teachers.

Abstract

The sale and purchase of manure raises pros and cons among the Muslim community, because it is considered not in accordance with the pillars and conditions of buying and selling. However, seeing the high price of inorganic fertilizers (chemical) forced them to continue to use the existing manure as an ingredient in fertilizing the soil. This issue has raised many questions about how the certainty of Islamic law in responding to the phenomenon of society. Some scholars argue that buying and selling must use sacred items and are not classified as unclean, so the sale and purchase of unclean goods is considered invalid. Willingness to understand Imam Shafi'i is the main key in the practice of buying and selling. In addition, Imam Syafi'i also emphasizes the value of the benefits contained in the goods being traded. The practice of buying and selling animal manure can be said to have fulfilled the requirements and the pillars of buying and selling, namely the benefits for the community. However, the Mazhab Syafi’i still does not allow the practice of buying and selling fertilizers made from animal waste. In the Shafi'i school, the issue of buying and selling animal manure is offered a solution that the practice is not classified as a buying and selling practice (muamalah), but by isqath al-haq (aborting rights). The trick is sighat (speech) the contract is not a sale and purchase contract but naqlul yad (change of hands), or in another language the exchange of goods.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peran sentral teologi Islam dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan prinsip-prinsip hukum ekonomi syariah. Melalui analisis sistematis, penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana doktrin-doktrin teologis seperti tauhid, keadilan dan kemaslahatan menjadi landasan etis dan normatif bagi transaksi serta institusi ekonomi syariah. Penulis berargumen bahwa ekonomi syariah bukan sekadar sistem alternatif, melainkan manifestasi nyata dari integrasi dimensi spiritual dan material dalam kehidupan Muslim, yang bertujuan mencapai keadilan distributif dan keberlanjutan ekonomi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pemahaman mendalam terhadap akar teologis sangat krusial untuk inovasi kebijakan dan implementasi praktik ekonomi syariah yang efektif dan sesuai dengan tujuan syariah.

Abstract

This research aims to uncover the construction of tolerance through the Kalpataru symbol in Sunan Bonang's artwork. Through a semiotic approach, this study will analyze the meanings contained in the Kalpataru symbol in various artworks associated with Sunan Bonang. The analysis will cover iconic, indexical, and symbolic aspects of the Kalpataru symbol to reveal how this symbol functions as a representation of the values of tolerance, diversity, and unity. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of art in building an inclusive and tolerant society, as well as the relevance of the Kalpataru symbol in the contemporary Indonesian context.

Abstract

Problem internal yang dialami umat Islam saat ini adalah adanya gerakan gerakan keagamaan eksklusif yang sesama muslim disebut “pihak lain” karena perbedaan pandangan. Bahkan gerakan ekslusif tersebut dibarengi dengan mengklaim kelompok muslim sebagai kafir, sesat, dan bid’ah. Selain itu, problem lain yang dihadapi oleh umat Islam adalah adanya kelompok muslim yang melakukan aksi kekerasan dengan mengatasnamakan Tuhan dan agama, agama seolah olah dijadikan surat rekomendasi untuk melakukan tindakan kekerasan kepada kelompok lain, jihad adalah tema yang sangat unik dan menarik untuk diteliti dan dikaji secara lebih serius. Jihad sebagai research theme, selalu dalam perdebatan yang terus-menerus tidak usai dan telah banyak melahirkan karya-karya ilmiah, serta melahirkan kajian-kajian yang terbilang mendalam. Empat tingkatan jihad dalam kitab Fathul Mu’in yakni (1) mengajak umat untuk beriman kepada Allah dengan iman yang rasional dan argumentatif sehingga merupakan iman yang berkualitas, (2) jihad menjalankan perintah syariat agama (3) kalau umat Islam diganggu, boleh melaksanakan perang (4) jihad memberikan perlindungan kepada setiap warga masyarakat, muslim atau non muslim, Konsep jihad yang ditawarkan dalam kitab Fathul Mu’in memiliki kandungan hukum Fardhu Kifayah, Dan (hukumnya) berubah menjadi Fardhu ‘Ain sesuai dengan konteks yang sedang terjadi. Dalam konteks pluralitas agama, konsep jihad yang ada dalam kitab Fathul Mu’in nampaknya masih cukup relevan untuk diterapkan dalam upaya peace building dalam bingkai kerukunan antar umat beragama
