Abstract

Pantai Baros terletak di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Bantul merupakan salah satu dari kabupaten di Propinsi DIY yang memiliki ekosistem mangrove. Tanaman mangrove diharapkan dapat mengurangi ancaman intrusi air laut, ancaman gelombang tsunami dan dampak gangguan angin laut yang mengancam pertanian masyarakat. Penanaman mangrove di Pantai Baros ini di masa yang akan datang prospeknya sangatlah besar bagi kemakmuran warga masyarakat sekitar asalkan mulai dari sekarang dimanfaatkan dengan benar. Terdapat peluang besar pengembangan kemakmuran masyarakat sekitar yaitu pengembangan wisata alam pantai yang sekaligus dapat berfungsi sebagai pusat pendidikan lingkungan pesisir di Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan KKN PPM ini partisipatif masyarakat dan pihak terkait. Dalam hal ini, secara teknis semua kebijakan dan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan selama KKN PPM ini selalu berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah setempat, dalam hal ini Bappeda Bantul sampai dengan pemerintah desa dan melibatkan SKPD terkait. Hasil dari kegiatan KKN PPM ini adalah penyelenggaraan pelatihan SDM, pengadaan kolam terpal di 2 dusun dan keramba jaring apung di muara sungai, pengadaan bibit ikat dan pakan di 3 dusun, penanaman mangrove 1000 batang di kawasan konservasi, pengadaan solar panel atau pembangkit lisrik tenaga surya yang dipasang di pondok jaga di kawasan mangrove Pantai Baros, pembangunan green house di kawasan kandang terpadu kelompok ternak Andhini Lestari di Dusun Baros, pengadaan bibit tanaman buah dan toga di 3 dusun, pembangunan dermaga mini Pantai Baros dan jembatan bambu di kawasan konservasi, pendesainan data yang akan ditampilkan dalam website KP2B sebagai media promosi eko eduwisata mangrove, merancang dan membuat media promosi berupa brosur, pembersihan sampah di kawasan konservasi, dan pengadaan buku bacaan anak yang bertema lingkungan.

Abstract

The development of mass media in Indonesia today can be said to be very rapid. This can be seen from the emergence of various kinds of media, both print and electronic, that are developing in the midst of society. The media as a source of information must present information clearly. Clear in this case is clear in the news information and clear in the use of language. In line with this opinion. This study aims to determine the use of terms in news published on the UAD website. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the use of terms used in the news on the UAD website. The data collection method used is the Simak, Gratis, Liba, Cakap (SBLC) method. There are two formulations that will be answered in this research; (1) how are the terms used in the UAD website; (2) What are the factors that cause the emergence of the term. This research produces written data. The results of the study show that there are 136 types of words with a total of 136 data, each consisting of 92 general term data and 44 special term data. Related to the factor of the use of terms, there are 116 accuracy data, 18 summary data and 2 data according to linguistic conventions. The dominant term factor used is the accuracy factor.

Abstract

A speech in a show has various types and functions. The speakers' speech in Kick Andy show is very diverse and has various functions that are interesting to study because the speech contains the value of critical and deep thinking but still wrapped in humor. This research aims to describe the function of expressive speech acts in the Kick Andy Edition of K.H. Abdurahman Wahid. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is Kick Andy Edition of K.H. Abdurahman Wahid on Metro TV Youtube Chanel. The object of this research is Expressive Speech Actions in Kick Andy Edition of K.H. Abdurahman Wahid on Metro TV Youtube Chanel. This research uses listening method in collecting data. The listening method was conducted with basic techniques in the form of tapping techniques and advanced techniques in the form of free spoken techniques (SBLC).  The data analysis method uses the commensurate method with the basic technique in the form of sorting the determining elements (PUP) technique. The results of this research are as follows: (1) expressive speech act function of criticizing as much as 4 data, (2) expressive speech act function of complaining as much as 4 data, (3) expressive speech act function of blaming as much as 5 data, (4) expressive speech act function of praising as much as 3 data, (5) expressive speech act function of insinuating as much as 1 data, (6) the expressive speech act function of forgiving as much as 3 data, (7) the expressive speech act function of forgiving as much as 1 data, (8) the expressive speech act function of mocking as much as 6 and on the expressive speech act function of gratitude and congratulations are not found in the Kick andy Edition K. H. Abdurahman Wahid so that the amount of data is 27 data.

Abstract

ABSTRAK:  Kesantunan merupakan hal penting dalam keterampilah hidup seorang anak dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Kajian ini  berusaha mendeskripsikan jenis strategi kesantunan anak usia 5-6 tahun dalam meminta tolong/bantuan. Pendekatan kajian ini merupakan kualitatif dengan desain prosedur studi kasus pada TK ABA Kepuh Wetan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa, anak usia 5-6 tahun telah mampu menggunakan strategi kesantunan dalam meminta tolong. Strategi kesantunan yang digunakan adalah strategi tuturan langsung (tanpa basa-basi), strategi kesantunan positif, dan strategi kesantunan negatif. Dalam meminta tolong/bantuan dengan strategi kesantunan positif, anak menggunakan beberapa teknik, antara lain teknik ungkapan tidak langsung, teknik melibatkan penutur atau mitra  tutur dalam suatu aktivitas bersama, teknik bertanya, dan teknik mempertimbangkan keinginan mitra tutur. Lebih lanjut, anak menggunakan strategi kesantunan negatif dalam meminta tolong/bantuan dengan teknik ungkapan tidak langsung dan bersikap pesimis. KATA KUNCI:  strategi, kesantunan, meminta tolong, anak  POLITENESS STRATEGIES OF ASKING FOR HELP IN CHILDREN'S LANGUAGE(CASE STUDY OF TK ABA KEPUH WETAN) ABSTRACT: Politeness is important in children's life skills in adapting to the surrounding environment. This study attempts to describe the types of politeness strategies of children aged 5-6 years in asking for help. The research approach is qualitative with a case study procedure design at ABA Kepuh Wetan Kindergarten. The results of this study show that children aged 5-6 years have been able to use politeness strategies in asking for help. The politeness strategies used are direct speech strategies (without pleasantries), positive politeness strategies, and negative politeness strategies. In asking for help with positive politeness strategies, children use several techniques, including indirect expression techniques, techniques to involve speakers or speech partners in a joint activity, request techniques, and techniques to consider the wishes of speech partners. Furthermore, children use negative politeness strategies in asking for help with indirect expression techniques and being pessimistic. KEYWORDS:  strategies, politeness, asking for help, children

Abstract

This qualitative case study, conducted in West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to address the persistent issue of cultural disconnect in Indonesia’s standardized reading literacy assessments. The study aimed to develop and evaluate a reading literacy Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) book that integrates local wisdom and is supported by the Teachmint app as an interactive learning platform. The intervention contextualized assessment materials by incorporating local folklore, customs, and socio-cultural environments into the design of learning content. Validation by experts rated the book as highly feasible (91.2%), with strong positive responses from both teachers (88.5%) and students (85%). Implementation of Teachmint enhanced accessibility, motivation, and engagement through digital features like quizzes, automatic feedback, and interactive discussions. Quantitative findings revealed significant gains in students’ informational text comprehension (30.03%), literary text comprehension (11.92%), and critical analysis skills (35.09%). A comparative study also demonstrated that students assessed through Teachmint outperformed those using conventional platforms like Google Forms. This research highlights the effectiveness of integrating local cultural contexts and educational technology to enhance reading literacy and offers practical insights for developing culturally responsive assessments in Indonesia.

Abstract

Research on news characteristics is needed because guarding an online media is not an easy matter. Each media must have its own character that differentiates it from other media, as well as online media. Ordinary readers find the character of the media through the presentation of the news. Even though the news or information published is the same, the media must have their own point of view that makes their identity. Starting from these different characteristics, research on the characteristics of online news published by the Bantul Regional Government on the bantulkab.go.id web is interesting to be explored more deeply. The data collection technique used in this study was to use the reading note technique. The subject of this research is in the form of news texts contained in the website bantulkab.go.id June-August 2020 edition. Data reduction was carried out in two stages. First, carefully read the news on the website bantulkab.go.id, June-August 2020 edition. Furthermore, note the use of news actuality categories and types of news terraces found in the June-August 2020 edition of the bantulkab.go.id web into the card. data. Based on the research results, the category of news actuality contained in the website bantulkab.go.id June-August 2020 edition includes categories of calendar actuality, time actuality, and issue actuality. The number of data included in the calendar actuality is 4 data, the actual time is 3 data, and the problem actuality is 13 data. Meanwhile, the types of news terraces contained in the web bantulkab.go.id edition of June-August 2020 include 5 data on who lead (which news terrace), 4 as many as 2 data, what lead (what news terrace), 2 data, when lead (when the news core) as much as 2 data, where the lead (where the news is) as much as 3 data, why lead (why news terrace) as much as 4 data, and how lead (how the news is) as much as 2 data.

Abstract

Previous research on the pragmatic politeness strategies of foreign students has only examined the politeness maxims used by these students. This study examines how foreign students ask for help and apologize from a gender perspective. The objectives of this study are to determine the following: (1) the types of politeness strategies frequently used by foreign male and female students, (2) the strategies used when asking for help, and (3) the strategies used when apologizing. These strategies are based on the theory of Brown and Levinson. This study employed a qualitative case study research method. The researcher employed observation, recording, and interviewing techniques. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014) model. The data were validated using credibility, transferability, dependability, and objectivity tests. The results show that male foreign students tend to use direct strategies when asking for help or apologizing. Conversely, female students tend to use negative politeness strategies when asking for help or apologizing. An interesting finding emerged in the category of apologizing for social relations: both male and female foreign students tended to use negative politeness strategies. They used these strategies to maintain good social relations. Abstrak Penelitian strategi pragmatik kesantunan mahasiswa asing sebelumnya hanya berfokus pada deskripsi maksim kesopanan mahasiswa asing. Penelitian ini akan meneliti bagaimana mahasiswa asing meminta bantuan dan meminta maaf dari perspektif gender. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) jenis strategi kesantunan mahasiswa dan mahasiswi asing yang sering digunakan; (2) strategi kesantunan mahasiswa dan mahasiswi asing ketika meminta bantuan; dan (3) strategi kesantunan mahasiswa dan mahasiswi asing ketika meminta maaf. Strategi kesantunan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Brown dan Levinson. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, perekaman, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña (2014). Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan terakhir uji objektivitas. Hasil menunjukkan mahasiswa asing cenderung menggunakan strategi langsung saat meminta bantuan dan meminta maaf. Sebaliknya, mahasiswi cenderung memakai strategi kesantunan negatif saat meminta bantuan dan meminta maaf. Hal menarik muncul pada kategori aktivitas permintaan maaf tentang relasi sosial, mahasiswa dan mahasiswi asing sama-sama cenderung menggunakan strategi kesantunan negatif. Strategi tersebut digunakan untuk menjaga hubungan sosial tetap terjalin baik.
