Abstract

The problem of zakat in this country actually started from the low awareness of the muzakki (people who issue zakat) to do it and the low of public trust in the Amil Zakat Agency and the Zakat Institusion, even though any expertise and wok that is lawful, whether done alone or related to other parties, sucs as an employee, if thei income reach the nishab, then zakat must be issued. This study aims to see how the knowledge of zakat, motivation and social-economic on the willingness University of Tridinanti Palembang lecturers in paying professional zakat through salary deductions. The population in this study was 190 lecturers at the University of Tridinanti Palembang (UTP). The sampel technique used was purposive sample with the criteria of lecturers who had obtained lecturer certification, amounting to 121 people from 4 fakulties at UTP. The data analysis used is using multiple linear regressions analysis. The results of the study state that the knowledge of zakat, zakat motivation and social- economic have a positive.

Abstract

Almsgiving is one of the pillars supporting the upholding of Islam as the obligation for the adherents to improve horizontal relations between fellow humans and strengthen vertical relations with Allah SWT. The implementation of Islamic Social Responsibility (ISR) of the Islamic Bank gives a positive assessment in sharia agreement, justice and equality, responsibility for work, welfare, guarantee of nature preservation and benevolent assistance that is not profit-oriented. Proper almsgiving management and ISR implementation make Islamic banks trusted by the public in terms of service quality, satisfaction and loyalty of Muzzaki. It reduces bad images, and provides relevant impacts on social welfare and the progress of the era. The data analysis used to test the hypotheses is Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The data is collected by distributing questionnaires to Commissioners and Directors at 14 (fourteen) Islamic Commercial Banks spread throughout Indonesia. The result of this study shows partially prove the role of Islamic bank commissioners in the amsgiving management only, while the importance of the role of directors in Islamic banks in almsgiving management and the implementation of ISR partially.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of economic factors that affect people's interest in using the Solar Roofing Power Generation System (PLTS) in Palembang. Data analysis methods used are qualitative and quantitative, with primary and secondary data sources in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study were all consumers of PT. PLN in the city of Palembang which has power> 2200 VA. Sampling using the Slovin formula obtained as many as 400 respondents, the sampling technique using proportionate stratified random sampling with the location of rayon into sub-populations. The results showed that there was a significant influence between economic factors on people's interest in using the PLTS Roof system with Sig 0,000.

Abstract

Fenomena kesulitan siswa dalam memilih jurusan kuliah yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan prospek kerja menjadi isu penting di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Palembang. Banyak siswa mengambil keputusan berdasarkan tren, tekanan teman sebaya, atau dorongan orang tua, tanpa mempertimbangkan potensi diri dan informasi yang memadai. Akibatnya, mereka menghadapi berbagai tantangan di pendidikan tinggi seperti kurangnya motivasi, ketidaksesuaian materi kuliah, hingga risiko drop out dan kesulitan masuk dunia kerja. Menyikapi permasalahan ini, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) menginisiasi kegiatan sosialisasi pemilihan jurusan kepada siswa SMA di Kota Palembang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui kunjungan langsung ke sekolah-sekolah, dengan metode presentasi, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengenalan jurusan, potensi karier, dan strategi memilih jurusan sesuai minat dan kemampuan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman lebih baik tentang pilihan pendidikan tinggi dan prospek kerja, serta merasa terbantu dalam mengenali potensi diri dan menyusun rencana pendidikan. Sekolah juga menyambut baik kegiatan ini sebagai langkah strategis untuk membimbing siswa. Sosialisasi ini diharapkan menjadi agenda tahunan yang berkelanjutan guna membantu siswa membuat keputusan akademik yang lebih bijak dan terarah, serta memperkuat kesiapan mereka menghadapi dunia kerja.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mengenai hak-hak konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli online. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan hukum kepada ABST.Co Group dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup dasar hukum transaksi elektronik, prinsip itikad baik dalam pemenuhan hak konsumen, serta mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap aspek hukum perlindungan konsumen, termasuk pentingnya transparansi, kejujuran, dan komunikasi responsif dalam transaksi online. Beberapa peserta mulai menerapkan prinsip itikad baik dengan menyusun deskripsi produk yang lebih akurat dan menyusun standar operasional sederhana. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif dalam pengabdian masyarakat dapat membentuk budaya usaha yang lebih profesional dan bertanggung jawab. Kata Kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; hak konsumen; transaksi online; UMKM; itikad baik AbstractThis community service activity aims to improve the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) regarding consumer rights in online sales transactions. The program was conducted through legal outreach to ABST.Co Group using lectures, discussions, and Q&A methods. The delivered materials included the legal basis of electronic transactions, the principle of good faith in fulfilling consumer rights, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The results indicate an increase in participants’ legal awareness, particularly regarding transparency, honesty, and responsive communication in online commerce. Some participants began applying good faith principles by providing more accurate product descriptions and drafting simple operational standards. This shows that educational approaches in community service can foster a more professional and responsible business culture. Keywords: community service; consumer rights; online transactions; MSMEs; good faith

Abstract

This study aims to identify the causes of the absence of a Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) in Islamic hospitals in Pekanbaru city, as well as the presence of unprofessional experts and employees, ineffective hospital staff coordination and inadequate future performance planning. This study used a combined method of quantitative and qualitative data utilizing the Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach. ANP is an analysis method used to make decisions in complex situations, especially when there are interdependencies between various factors. The study found four findings: (1) Future hospital performance planning is fulfilled, (2) Experts and employees are selected professionally with the highest score of 27%. (3) Effective staff coordination score is 26%, (4) forming a Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) has the lowest score of 20%.  This study found that, out of seven Islamic hospitals, only one has a disaster preparedness system (DPS). The director, as the highest-ranking leader, gave the lowest possible score when answering the question about the problems faced by hospitals without a DPS, with a score of 0.099, while experts and regulators gave a score of 0.250. In accordance with DSN MUI No. 107/DSN-MUI/X/2016 concerning Guidelines for Organizing Hospitals Based on Sharia Principles, a sharia hospital must have a DPS to obtain certification. The implementation of DPS is crucial for supervising and resolving problems within hospitals and with stakeholders.

Abstract

Kain pelangi atau Jumputan merupakan kain khas daerah yang sering digunakan masyarakat kota Palembang untuk kegiatan resmi. Kain ini memiliki ciri dan motif yang khas dengan warna yang beraneka ragam, dalam pembuatan di zaman sekarang kain ini masih dibuat dengan buatan tangan atau mesin. Kain ini dapat dijadikan pakaian yang beraneka ragam mulai dari atasan dan bawahan bahkan perpaduan kain jumputan dengan kain jenis lain. Namun dalam perkembangan zamannya kain dulunya sering di jual melalui pasar tradisonal yang menjual kain khas. Namun promosi lewat sosial media yang kurang mengakibatkan kain ini mengalami kendala promosi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini membuat praktik cara pengenalan penjualan pakaian khas dari kain jumputan dari sosial media yaitu aplikasi shoppee. Hasilnya diharapkan pemasaran dalam penjualan pakaian khas tradisonal ini bisa meningkatkan pendapatan penjual dan mudah sampai ke tangan konsumen. Dukungan pemerintah dalam mempromosikan pusat penjualan misalnya mendirikan Gapura ”Selamat Datang” bisa terealisasi. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan bisa memahami dan mempraktikan secara terus menerus dan menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan bagi perkembangan produk unggulan daerah khususnya kota Palembang dan meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD).
