Abstract

Fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan bahwa banyak ditemui pegawai yang menumpuk-numpuk pekerjaannya sehingga pekerjaan tidak dapat selesai tepat waktu, kurang baiknya kinerja pegawai, dilihat dari kualitas kerja pegawai masih rendah, ketepatan waktu yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengungkapkan 1) kontribusi Budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang, 2) kontribusi motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang, 3) kontribusi budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kenerja pegawai IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya organisasi berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi kerja berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif korelasional, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai administrasi IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang yang berstatus pegawai negeri yang berjumlah 169 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratifield proporational random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang, instrument berupa angket. Penelitian analisis model skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa budaya organisasi berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai di IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang sebesar 19,8%, motivasi kerja berkotribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang sebesar 14,9%, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 32,5%. Sedangkan secara deskriptif budaya organisasi dengan tingkat capaian 78,7% termasuk kategori cukup, sedangkan motivasi kerja dengan tingkat capaian skor 84,3% termasuk kategori baik dan kinerja pegawai dengan tingkat capaian 83,3% termasuk kategori baik. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai lebih baik dan ideal sebaiknya dilakukan melalui peningkatan budaya organisasi dan menciptakan motivasi kerja yang kondusif di lingkungan kampus. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the principal's democratic leadership style and work motivation on teacher discipline in Elementary Schools (SD) Negeri Padang City. This research uses quantitative methods with correlational research type. The population of this study were all elementary school teachers who were the State Civil Servant (ASN) of Kuranji District, Padang City, totaling 307 people. As a sample, 60 teachers were randomly selected using a lottery system for each population group. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive and inductive. The data were analyzed statistically using correlation and regression techniques using SPSS version 20. The results showed: 1) The leadership of a democratic school principal contributes to the work discipline of teachers at SD Negeri Kuranji Subdistrict, 2) Work Motivation contributes to the work discipline of teachers at SD Kuranji Subdistrict, Padang City, in this case the better the motivation of teachers, the more discipline the teacher works, 3) The leadership and motivation of democratic school principals contribute to teacher work discipline. Thus, to be able to improve teacher discipline, it is best done through the leadership of a democratic school principal and teacher work motivation.

Abstract

Laboratories are complex environments, where social interactions and professional demands blend with performance pressures and organizational hierarchies. Behind the seemingly objective scientific activity, there are emotional dynamics that influence individual behavior, one of which is embodied shame. Based on concepts discussed by Ruebottom and Toubiana (2024), this article explores the impact of shame on laboratory management. Internalized shame can negatively impact laboratory dynamics by inhibiting collaboration, lowering emotional energy and creating a less productive work environment. Individuals who feel shame tend to shrink emotionally and physically, which inhibits their potential to innovate and collaborate effectively. To address this issue, labs must create a psychologically safe environment, where members feel supported and free from fear to conduct experiments. Inclusive leadership that supports all groups, as well as providing opportunities for reflection and personal growth, can help reduce internalized shame. With the right management strategies, laboratories can become more inclusive and supportive places, which not only improves the emotional well-being of laboratory members, but also fosters scientific innovation and better collaboration

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the contextual-based thematic learning plan that is implemented in MIN 6 Kota Padang, (2) describe contextual contextual teaching-learning in MIN 6 Kota Padang, (3)   describe contextual-based thematic learning evaluation in MIN 6 Kota Padang. Methods This study is a qualitative descriptive study that describes phenomena in the field without treatment. The object of this research is the students of grade V MIN 6 Kota Padang. Sources of data obtained from teachers and students of class V. In addition, learning tools are used when learning is implemented.   The primary data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and interviews as research support techniques. The results showed that contextual thematic learning planning at MIN 6 Kota Padang was good enough and run as it should be. Implementing contextually thematic learning at MIN 6 Kota Padang is still not by the planning. The practice of a contextual approach to thematic learning is still less than optimal because teachers are less well-understood when applying a contextual-based thematic approach. Finally, the thematic learning evaluation is implemented using the assessment standards. Learning evaluation includes assessing student learning outcomes, which include aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills.
