Abstract

Diseases in livestock, such as cattle, can have significant negative impacts on the livestock industry and human health. In this regard, the cow disease of greatest concern is Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), which is a communicable disease that can spread quickly among the cattle population and have serious implications for animal welfare and agricultural sustainability. This study aims to develop a method for diagnosing cattle diseases, especially FMD, as a measure to prevent the spread of epidemics in Langkat District. The method used is the Dempster Shafer method, which is an artificial intelligence method that utilizes probability theory and belief theory to overcome uncertainty in the decision-making process.

Abstract

Pemahaman tentang minat dan bakat siswa/siswi pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang holistik. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengusulkan penggunaan metode Data Mining dengan menggunakan algoritma K-means Clustering untuk menganalisis minat dan bakat siswa/siswi dalam konteks kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data survei yang dikumpulkan dari siswa/siswi sekolah di sebuah daerah. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi informasi tentang minat dan bakat siswa/siswi terkait berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tersedia di sekolah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasikan siswa/siswi berdasarkan pola minat dan bakat mereka menggunakan algoritma K-means Clustering. Diharapkan bahwa penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pihak sekolah dalam memahami minat dan bakat siswa/siswi, sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan penawaran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan preferensi siswa/siswi. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat membantu siswa/siswi dalam memilih kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka, sehingga dapat meningkatkan partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada hakikatnya merupakan kesadaran untuk mengembangkan kepribadian dan kemampuan peserta didik didalam dan diluar sekolah dan berlangsung selama masih dalam jenjang pendidikan.berdasarkan data minat siswa berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan nya pada tahun 2022 yang dapat diartikan sebagai pendidikan madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI), madrasah tsanawiyah (MTs) ada pun pendidikan madrasah lain yaitu madrasah aliyah (MA). K - means Clustering merupakan salah satu metode untuk mencari dan mengelompokan data yang memiliki kemiripan karakteristik antara satu data dengan yang lainnya. Analisa dilakukan dengan metode Clustering yang menggunakan metode K-Means yang kemudian diterjemahkan dalam sebuah perangkat lunak. Perangakat lunak ini yang digunakan untuk pengelompokkan data. Salah satu tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hasil dari pengelompokan yang dapat mengolah tumpukan data siswa yang memiliki minat belajar dan menghasilkan informasi yang baru.

Abstract

The development of basic commodity prices is essentially a physical development activity. Various kinds of resources are processed with the power of human resources. The longer the processing process, the greater the added value for humans and the greater the costs required. One of the most widely used methods in the clustering method is to use the K-Means algorithm. K-Means is a non-hierarchical (block) grouping method that seeks to partition data into clusters/groups so that data with the same characteristics will be included in the clustering method. in the same cluster and data with different characteristics are grouped into another group. From the 20 data obtained 3 groups, Cluster 1 has 7 data, Cluster 2 has 6 data, and Cluster 3 has 7 data. And the most group obtained is cluster 1 and cluster 3.Cluster 1 contains 7 data, namely types of bricks with a fixed price of IDR 200 per piece in 2020 South Binjai. Cluster 2 contains 6 data, namely types of bathtub items with a fixed price of IDR 75,000 in 2020 South Binjai. Cluster 3 contains 7 data, namely the type of emulsion paint with a fixed price of IDR 300,000 in 2020 South Binjai.

Abstract

Increasingly tight business competition encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to have the right strategy in developing their business, one of which is through selecting strategic branch locations. This study aims to design and build a decision support system for MSME branch placement based on SWOT analysis combined with the Promethee method. The case study was conducted on the Cak Kotes MSME, which operates in the beverage sector and has three branches in Binjai City. SWOT analysis was used to identify internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) relevant in location selection. The Promethee method was applied to weight and rank alternative locations objectively and systematically. This web-based system was built using the CodeIgniter framework, the PHP 5.3.7 programming language, and the MySQL database. The results of this system are expected to assist MSME owners in determining the most appropriate branch location for the target market and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business decision-making.
