Abstract

Learning media is often used in the implementation of effective learning so that students can be more involved in the classroom. However, many teachers continue to use traditional teaching methods, causing students to be less engaged in learning. Teachers can use song media as one of the learning media. The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the research planning stages of using song media in social studies learning in class V SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. (2) Describe the results of the use of music media in social studies learning on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 20 fifth grade students. This study uses primary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions are the data analysis techniques used. The results of the study revealed that social studies learning with the media of European arrival historical songs included three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Learning planning consists of 2 stages: observation and study of literature. The stages of learning implementation are divided into three parts, namely preparatory activities, core activities, and closing activities. Learning is carried out at the assessment stage by examining achievements and deficiencies that occur during the learning process. The use of music media in social studies learning shows that the learning process runs smoothly and has the potential to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses sosialisasi dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Ke-Islaman pada kelas menegah muslim di Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di di Kota Surabaya tepatnya adalah Masjid Al Akbar dan Masiid Al Falah. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dan pengamatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu tahap orientasi data yang didapat dilapangan, tahap reduksi data dan tahap seleksi. Uji keabsahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji kredebilitas, uji dependabilitas, uji konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1)Proses terjadinya sosialisasi dan internalisasi nilai keislaman berlangsung panjang, dari bangku sekolah hingga dewasa. Pada usia dewasa mereka mendapatkan bimbingan melalui forum-forum dakwah oleh ustad/muballigh. Inilah yang disebut dengan belajar sepanjang hayat (life long education).(2) Proses internalisasi dan sosialisasi terkait pelibatan individu yang siap menerima dan mendukung guna menjadikan pendidikan informal semakin meningkatkan taraf kehidupan kelas menengah muslim Surabaya. Saran yang direkomendasikan pada penelitian ini adalah: Peran keluarga dalam membentuk manusia ideal berawal dari keluarga, oleh karenanya perlu usaha antar lembaga masyarakat yang mendukung agar pendidikan informal yang dijalankan di dalam keluarga bisa dan mampu berjalan dan mengahdirkan insan paripurna.

Abstract

The quality of education is very dependent on the role of teachers in it because teachers are professional educators. Quality education processes and outcomes are also inseparable from teacher performance. Therefore, given the importance of this, various efforts are still being made to improve teacher performance such as self-discipline, self-concept and self-efficacy as will be discussed in this study. This study uses a quantitative approach by using the method of observation and questionnaire design. The population observed was 38 teachers, because the number was less than 100, the sample was determined using the census technique. The data were then tested for validity and reliability as well as the classical assumption test. In the end there is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26.0 program. The conclusion that self-discipline has a significant effect on improving teacher performance. Likewise, what happened to the independent variables of self-concept and self-efficacy also had a partial and significant influence on improving teacher performance. These three variables have a significant effect simultaneously on improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi budaya 5-S dan metode guru dalam membiasakannya. Sasaran pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN Asemrowo II/63 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penilitian kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan budaya sekolah lebih spesifik dan mendalam. Sumber datanya adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas rendah, guru kelas tinggi dan guru agama. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi budaya 5-S dan metode guru dalam membiasakannya direalisasikan dalam 4 bentuk kegiatan yaitu kegiatan rutin, kegiataan spontan, pengkondisian, keteladanan. Metode yang diterapkan guru adalah metode keteladanan, metode pembiasaan, metode nasehat, dan metode pengawasan

Abstract

Scout extracurriculars provide an important role in a process of forming student character. Scout extracurricular is one of the extracurricular activities that is present as a vehicle in the formation of student character. The purpose of this study is to analyze, describe and find out strategies for building the character of discipline and student responsibility through scout extracurricular activities at SDN Komplek Kenjeran II/506 Surabaya. This research method uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The targets in this study were scout coaches, scout members and school principals. The results of the study showed that there was an influence in the implementation of the strategy for building the character of discipline and student responsibility through scout extracurricular activities at SDN Komplek Kenjeran II/506 Surabaya. This can be proven by the achievement of indicators of discipline and responsibility. Discipline in using time, participating in religious events according to their religion, participating in scout extracurricular activities, dressing neatly, using complete attributes, obeying the rules. Responsibilities in implementing and leading team discussions, operating and maintaining technology, leading and training squadrons and proposing problem solving.
