Abstract

Narapidana perempuan mengalami rasa tidak berarti dalam hidup karena perasaan tidak bahagia, kesepian, ingin menyendiri, merasa tidak berguna bagi keluarga, dan merasa tidak dibutuhkan lagi oleh keluarga. Menjalani hukuman membuat narapidana lebih mungkin berjuang dengan makna hidup; khususnya, mereka lebih mungkin mengalami keputusasaan dan rasa tidak berdaya karena merasa dipermalukan oleh posisi penjara baru mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara persepsi narapidana tentang harga diri mereka sendiri dan rasa tujuan hidup mereka di penjara wanita Kelas IIA di Medan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan. Rutan Wanita Kelas II A di Medan menjadi tempat penelitian. Penulis penelitian ini membagikan kuesioner kepada 63 partisipan dalam sampel. Menurut penelitian penulis, ada koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 78,1% antara penerimaan diri dan makna hidup pada narapidana wanita di Rumah Tahanan Wanita Kelas II A Medan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel, dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000<0,005.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pengaruh growth mindset terhadap grit akademik mahasiswa yang bekerja terjadi karena faktor ekonomi yang tidak cukup dalam memenuhi kebutuhan, sehingga mahasiswa harus membagi waktu untuk kuliah dan bekerja memenuhi kebutuhan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah growth mindset berpengaruh terhadap grit akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil: Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara growth mindset terhadap grit akademik mahasiswa pada program studi Akuntansi Universitas Sari Mutiara Indonesia dengan korelasi yaitu 0,857. Simpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh growth mindset terhadap grit akademik mahasiswa pada program studi Akuntansi Universitas Sari Mutiara Indonesia.

Abstract

Students’ issues in maintaining motivation, dividing study and play time, having no goals, being unable to cope with lecturer pressure, laziness, and other factors such as family environment can be an obstacle in achieving a GPA. GPA, on the other hand, is significant because it can serve as a first impression and a key role in securing employment. As a result, in addition to having great academic intelligence, students must also be able to overcome challenges, understand emotions, and regulate their emotions in order to fully utilize their learning talents. This research is entitled "Comparative Study of Emotional Intelligence Based on Academic Achievement Level of Students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, Sari Mutiara University of Indonesia" with the aim of determining the differences or comparisons between students' emotional intelligence and their academic accomplishment levels. The researcher's measuring tool is based on Daniel Goleman's five characteristics of emotional intelligence: detecting one's own emotions, controlling emotions, motivating oneself, understanding other people's emotions, and developing relationships. The respondents in this study were 84 active students of Sari Mutiara University's Pharmacy Study Program in Indonesia. The research was descriptive in nature, with a comparative study design. The validity of the items was determined by the measuring device to be in the range from 0.218 to 0.480. The emotional intelligence measuring instrument employed in this study had a reliability of 0.886. According to the findings of a survey of 84 students, a high degree of student academic accomplishment is closely linked to their emotional intelligence. It is suggested that future researchers deal with a bigger number of samples while employing more diversified variables.

Abstract

Cases of HIV / AIDS have increased and so far no cure has been found and is a deadly disease. The cause is due to factors of unhealthy sexual behavior, transmission of syringes, and blood transfusions done in the wrong way. Stigma is one of the psychosocial problems in people with HIV / AIDS which causes a negative impact because it can affect the interaction process in the community. This research was conducted with the title of the relationship between stigma and social interaction of people with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) in a social support group. This research was conducted in Deli Serdang Regency in a social support group with a total sample of 36 people with a population of no more than 50 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The results showed that there was a relationship between stigma and social interaction among PLWHA with high correlation categorization

Abstract

Nowadays employee work motivation is one topic that is always interesting and considered important, both by scientists and practitioners, precisely because work motivation is seen as influencing the running of the organization as a whole. Leaders have a role in advancing the company or organization. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of superior leadership style and work motivation, where the subjects in this study are employees of the Housing and Settlement Service of Binjai City, with a total of 40 employees. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique (census). The data collection method in this study uses a Likert scale. The data analysis method used is Product Moment Correlation. The results of this study indicate that the perception of a superior leadership style has a delegating style of leadership. Work motivation of 32.5% employees who have high, and 12.5% low and 55% medium. The results of the correlation test are significant values 0.620> 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between perceptual variables on superior leadership style and work motivation variables. This result answers the research hypothesis that there is a relationship between perceptions of superior leadership style and work motivation of the employees of the Housing and Settlement Service of Binjai City, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
