Abstract

His study aims to determine the Role of Syariah Niaga Savings and Loan Cooperatives in Community Economic Empowerment as an Alternative to Reducing Poverty Rate in Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency.This study used eight informants in Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The eight authors' informants were all chairpersons and members of the Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. While the data analysis used is descriptive qualitative data analysis.The results showed that the Role of Syariah Savings and Loan Cooperative Cooperatives in Community Economic Empowerment as an Alternative to Reducing Poverty Rate in Lempangan Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the perspective of boarding house business owners regarding their understanding of the boarding house category hotel tax in Makassar City. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques using literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the perspective of boarding house business owners regarding the hotel tax in the boarding house category is still lacking due to the lack of socialization from the government and the hotel tax rate for the boarding house category is still considered burdensome, causing tax avoidance.

Abstract

Program implementasi digital marketing untuk petani tambak di Desa Bontomate'ne, Kecamatan Mandai, Kabupaten Maros, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemasaran dan kesejahteraan ekonomi komunitas petani tambak. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan komprehensif selama sehari penuh, yang mencakup materi tentang strategi digital marketing, platform online, dan analisis data.  Para peserta pelatihan diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan secara langsung materi yang disampaikan dan berdiskusi dengan narasumber yang berpengalaman.  Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menerapkan strategi digital marketing. Para petani tambak mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pemasaran produk mereka, memperluas akses pasar, dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang pendidikan dengan menunjukkan  efektivitas strategi digital marketing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan ekonomi masyarakat. Program ini  merupakan contoh penerapan  konsep pembelajaran berbasis  praktik dan kolaboratif, serta  menekankan pentingnya peran pendidikan dalam mendorong  kemajuan ekonomi di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji berbagai variabel yang memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan mahasiswa dan keputusan mereka untuk melakukan pembelian online. Studi ini menyelidiki bagaimana dukungan selebriti, kesadaran halal, kualitas informasi, dan ulasan pelanggan online memengaruhi keputusan pembelian dan kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survei kuantitatif dan melibatkan 267 mahasiswa muslim yang tinggal di Kota Makassar sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan selebriti dan kualitas informasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sementara ulasan pengguna dan kualitas informasi memengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan, yang kemudian berdampak pada keputusan pembelian. Secara khusus, kepuasan pelanggan memediasi hubungan antara kualitas informasi dan keputusan pembelian secara keseluruhan dan secara parsial. Tidak ada bukti bahwa kesadaran halal memengaruhi kepuasan konsumen atau keputusan mereka untuk membeli sesuatu. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas.    The objective of this article is to investigate the variables that influence the contentment of customers and the decisions of students to make online purchases. The study examines the impact of celebrity endorsement, halal awareness, information quality, and online customer reviews on purchase decisions and customer satisfaction. Using a quantitative design with a survey approach, this study involved 267 Muslim students in Makassar City as respondents. The results indicate that celebrity endorsement and information quality significantly influence purchase decisions, while information quality and user reviews affect customer satisfaction, which in turn impacts purchase decisions. Specifically, customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between information quality and purchase decisions and fully mediates the relationship between user reviews and purchase decisions. Halal awareness does not significantly influence purchase decisions or customer satisfaction. This study underscores the importance of information quality and user reviews in influencing purchase decisions through customer satisfaction, and provides insights into the role of celebrity endorsement and the limitations of halal awareness in current marketing contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the relationships among entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE), entrepreneurial intention, and business performance in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Indonesia. Using an explanatory research design and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS), data from 159 respondents were analyzed to examine the direct and mediated effects of ESE on business performance. Results indicate that ESE significantly influences both entrepreneurial intention and business performance, highlighting the critical role of self-efficacy in fostering entrepreneurial intentions that ultimately enhance the performance of village-owned enterprises. These findings suggest that enhancing ESE can lead to improved business outcomes, providing valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners aiming to support the growth of village-owned enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of HR competencies (communication, teamwork, leadership, and analytical decision-making) on managerial performance in cooperative organizations. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 65 cooperative managers in Barru Regency through structured questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to evaluate the relationships between HR competencies and managerial performance. The findings reveal that analytical decision-making and teamwork are the most significant predictors of performance, highlighting their critical role in fostering operational efficiency and achieving organizational objectives. Communication and leadership, while positively correlated with performance, function as foundational enablers supporting teamwork and decision-making. The study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the interplay between HR competencies and cooperative governance, offering practical recommendations for enhancing managerial effectiveness through targeted training and development programs. These findings underscore the importance of adopting a comprehensive competency framework to optimize organizational outcomes and ensure sustainability. Further research is recommended to explore the contextual factors influencing the variability of HR competencies across different organizational settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the success of crowdfunding in finance SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and business startups during and after the Corona Virus Pandemic (Covid19) in Indonesia and Malaysia. Methodology - This research uses a quantitative approach. The questionnaire was distributed to SMEs owners or operators who already knew about crowdfunding domiciled in Indonesia and Malaysia, each country as many as 100 respondents. To find out the influence and significance of Crowdfunding perception, Social norms, Regulation, Entrepreneurship and Technology, and Capital Market on the success of Crowdfunding by using multiple linear regression analysis. Finding – in Indonesia, of the 5 variables studied all showed positive and significant influences with levels of influence varying from weak to medium correlations, except perception variables that showed weak and insignificant influences. In Malaysia, all variables have a positive and significant influence on the level of influence from weak to moderate correlation. Limitation – this study was conducted in Indonesia and Malaysia during the pandemic period with policies on social distancing, physical distancing, and work from home. Originality – This is the first paper to report research on the impact of Corona virus on crowdfunding in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

This study evaluates the compliance of Shopee Paylater and Shopee Paypinjam with Islamic finance principles by examining their operational mechanism. The research focuses on the challenges posed by interest rates, late fees, and transparency, which hindre adherence to Sharia ethics. A qualitative approach, including case studies and semi-structured interviews with users, was employed, supported by secondary data analysis. The findings reveal significant reveal significant non-compliance with Islamic finance principles, particularly due to the imposition of interest and late payment penalties, both considered forms of riba. Moreover, unclear repayment terms and hidden fees undermine the transparency and fairmenss central to Islamic finance practices. While the fintech services provide convenience and accessibility, they fail to meet the understanding of fintech in Islamic markets, highlighting the need for profit-sharing models, improved transparency, and Sharia-compliant regulatory frameworks. The findings offer practical insights for fintech providers, policymakers, and Sharia boards, emphasizing the importance of fostering trust and inclusivity in digital financial ecosystem. Future research should explore comparative analyses across different regions and incorporate the perspectives of various stakeholders.
