Abstract

Religious harmony is an important part of every society in Indonesia and if you ignore this issue, it will have fatal consequences for human survival. Humans must uphold the values of religious diversity in Indonesia, because by living in harmony it has maintained the good name of the nation and state. As a Muslim community, it must maintain an attitude towards adherents of other religions, and vice versa, non-Muslim adherents must maintain an attitude with Muslim adherents. So that inter-religious harmony will be created, by taking care of each other and helping each other for the continuity of worship, it is also necessary to know that the Indonesian state consists of various tribes, languages, customs, and religions, so that the Indonesian nation is a pluralistic society. In the community of Air Petai Village with these various religions living side by side, of course there are problems that occur, both small and large. This feeling of suspicion is caused by an unnatural, prejudiced view of other groups that has been ingrained. Suspicion is also caused by a feeling of determinism that only the views of one's own group are correct and other groups are basically bad, so there is no place for an attitude that animates tolerance.

Abstract

Among the da'wah actors in Indonesia, one of them is M. Natsir. He was a man who was persistent in breaking through the da'wah of Islam through bureaucratic obstacles and also through remote areas by sending preachers to these areas. The reality of the propagation of Islam in these areas is difficult to deny. In fact, in remote areas that were visited by the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Council, there was a splash of Islamic grace and subsequently built various kinds of Islamic education and da'wah facilities. M. Natsir emphasized and hoped that the mission of the missionary was to continue the duties of the apostles and prophetsTheda'is as the invitees must place the object of the da'wah as guests must be respected. The consequence is that the preachers are asked to present language, a good attitude with full politeness to their guests. So with the awareness of course there are weaknesses and strengths that exist, giving rise to comfort as well as the joys and sorrows of the task that must be carried out, by the muballigh do not stop to train yourself, in order to obtain greater inner strength so as to arrive at a higher spiritual state and fitrah, thus bringing that glorious preaching, more fearful of Allah. M. Natsir's thoughts on the preaching of Islam contain the meaning of Islamic da'wah in lafdziyah or literal terms. That is, the preaching of Islam is not only by knowing the delivery of Islamic teachings, as "inviting" to the target of preaching in the position of receiving news about Islamic teachings. So, the da'is who are in charge of inviting and calling out to preach as guests who need to be respected. In this case, the da'i must be able to display a good attitude, especially in words and deeds, such as being full of politeness to the targets of preaching, which needs to be respected.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Graduate profiles that do not match the needs of the world of work in a community environment based on local culture are one of the problems for prospective teachers. This research aims to analyze local culture-based community responses regarding the development of prospective teachers' skills. Methodology: This research used a mixed-method approach with primary data from questionnaires and secondary data from observations, interviews, and documentation. Main Findings: This study revealed that out of a sample of 100 students, 83.33% responded positively to the implementation of status changes. Additionally, 65% of the community acknowledged that the status change would lead to a greater variety of academic programs. Meanwhile, 9% of the community believed that this change would contribute to improved welfare, and 75.5% recognized its overall benefits. Insights from stakeholder interviews led to the recommendation of five study programs, while surveys of 11th and 12th-grade prospective students identified ten preferred study programs. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its integration of local cultural perspectives into the needs analysis for developing study programs in Islamic universities. Unlike conventional needs assessments that focus solely on market demands, this study uniquely examines how cultural values and community expectations shape the required competencies of prospective teachers.
