Abstract

Lawang merupakan salah satu nagari yang terdapat di Kecamatan Matur, Kabupaten Agam, Provinsi Sumatra Barat. Nagari Lawang memiliki UMKM dengan jenis usaha yang beragam. Selain dikenal sebagai daerah penghasil tebu dan gula merah, nagari ini juga menghasilkan berbagai produk lainnya seperti kacang goreng/kacang barandang, kerupuk ubi saka, minuman air tebu, nasi tangguli, kapelo bauok, tumbang, souvenir dan kerajinan anyaman. Meskipun usaha ini merupakan usaha turun temurun, namun banyak diantaranya yang sulit berkembang. Berbagai permasalahan sering dihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM dalam menjalankan usaha, diantaranya manajemen usaha dan pengelolaan SDM yang belum baik, jangkauan pemasaran yang masih terbatas dan belum memiliki branding serta packaging untuk produknya, pemasaran masih secara konvensional. Tujuan diadakan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan serta keterampilan pelaku UMKM dibidang produksi, manajemen usaha, SDM dan pemasaran. Metode kegiatan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan berupa ceramah, praktek dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah pelaku UMKM di Nagari Lawang. Sebelum pelatihan dilakukan pre test untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta dan setelah pelatihan dilakukan post test untuk mengetahui kemampuan peserta dalam menyerap materi yang disampaikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 85% dari peserta paham terhadap materi pelatihan, mereka mengerti bagaimana mengelola usaha dan sumber daya manusia yang baik, memahami pentingnya merek dan kemasan bagi produknya, serta manfaat pemasaran digital. 10% dari peserta pelatihan berhasil membuat akun di Google business dari smartphone mereka masing-masing. Dari kegiatan ini diharapkan keberlanjutannya sehingga kedepannya keberadaan UMKM ini dapat meningkatkan potensi Nagari Lawang secara keseluruhan

Abstract

Entrepreneurship contributes to a country's economy because it can open up employment opportunities. Vocational schools are one of the important places in producing entrepreneurs. Several previous research results show the low interest in entrepreneurship among vocational school students, and it even appears that entrepreneurship is not an option for them after graduating. This research aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial outcome expectations on entrepreneurial interest. This research was carried out using quantitative methods. The research was conducted at SMK N 8 Padang with 157 students as respondents. By using SEM-PLS, the research results show that there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial outcome expectations. Entrepreneurial outcome expectations do not mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial interest. Abstrak Entrepreneurship atau kewirausahaan berkontribusi pada perekonomian suatu negara karena dapat membuka lapangan kerja. SMK merupakan salah satu tempat yang penting dalam menghasilkan wirausahawan. Beberapa hasil penelitian terdahulu memperlihatkan rendahnya minat berwirausaha yang dimiliki oleh murid-murid SMK, bahkan terlihat bahwa berwirausaha bukan menjadi pilihan mereka setelah lulus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial self efficacy dan entrepreneurial outcome expectation terhadap entrepreneurial interest. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK N 8 Padang dengan responden sebanyak 157 siswa. Dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan entrepreneurial self efficacy terhadap entrepreneurial outcome expectation. Entrepreneurial outcome expectation tidak memediasi hubungan antara entrepreneurial self efficacy dan entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

Academic performance refers to an individual's learning outcomes expressed in quantitative form during their education, serving as evidence that they have fulfilled their duties and responsibilities (Lestari, 2019). To achieve satisfactory academic performance, students are required to engage in learning activities, develop their mindset, and actively participate in the learning process at university. Academic performance is influenced by both internal and external factors. According to Fitri (2019), students' behavior in using social media during lectures includes not paying attention to the material being taught, resulting in an inability to answer questions related to the subject matter. Some students even choose to sit in less visible areas, such as the back or the middle of the classroom, to use their phones during lectures. However, if social media and the internet are used appropriately, deviant learning behaviors can be corrected, ensuring that students still achieve satisfactory learning outcomes.This issue is also observed at Dharma Andalas University, where students are becoming increasingly dependent on social media in their studies. Based on a sample of 144 undergraduate management students in their 5th and 7th semesters, it was found that social media overload has a significant impact on academic performance. Abstrak Performa akademik yaitu hasil belajar seseorang yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk kuantitatif selama menempuh pendidikan, sebagai bukti bahwa seseorang telah melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya (Lestari, 2019). Untuk mendapatkan performa akademik yang memuaskan, setiap mahasiswa dituntut untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar, mengembangkan pola pikir dan menjalankan proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. performa akademik dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Menurut Fitri, (2019) perilaku mahasiswa dalam menggunakan media sosial saat mengikuti perkuliahan dalam kelas adalah tidak memperhatikan materi yang diajarkan sehingga tidak mampu menjawab pertanyaan terkait materi yang sedang diajarkan. Bahkan mahasiswa mencari tempat duduk yang sedikit tersembunyi dari perhatian dosen yaitu di bagian belakang atau di bagian paling tengah, sehingga dapat membuka handphone saat perkuliahan berlangsung. Namun jika penggunaan media sosial dan internet tidak disalah gunakan oleh mahasiswa, maka perilaku belajar yang sudah menyimpang dapat diluruskan sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh pun tetap memuaskan. Sebagaimana di Universitas Dharma Andalas mengenai perilaku mahasiswa dalam belajar yang mulai ketergantungan dengan sosial media. Dari 144 sampel mahasiswa prodi S1 Manajemen semester 5 dan semester 7 diperoleh bahwa adanya pengaruh signifikan social media overload terhadap performa akademik.

Abstract

Improving accounting knowledge at the high school/vocational school level is very necessary, considering that accounting is one of the competencies offered at these schools. In order to provide in-depth knowledge about finance, a team of lecturers from Dharma Andalas University held a community service activity at SMK 1 Padang Panjang and SMA Muhammadyah Padang Panjang. This activity was carried out by providing material related to knowledge about financial reports in accordance with current accounting standards. The number of students who participated in the PKM activity was SMK 1 Padang Panjang as many as 61 people and SMA Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang as many as 26 people. After this activity was carried out, students of SMK 1 Padang Panjang and SMA Muhammadyah Padang Panjang knew the types and forms of company financial reports in accordance with current standards.

Abstract

There are several percent of grade XII high school students in Padang city who do not understand the importance of studying at university and the constraints of tuition fees for those who are less fortunate. This has an impact on the relatively low mindset for the intelligence of the nation in the future. The purpose of community service activities is to increase the number of grade XII high school graduates in Padang city with scholarships accepted at State Universities every year. The method of implementing activities according to priority problems with the solutions offered in the form of lectures, discussions and counseling methods. The solution offered to grade XII high school students in Padang city provides counseling on the importance of studying at university and scholarships for those who are less financially able. This solution is expected to have an impact on the number of high school graduates in Padang city accepted at State Universities every year increasing by around more than 80%. Continuing education to university is very important because it can increase knowledge and skills, open up career opportunities and develop personality. To continue their education, prospective students can obtain various types of scholarships provided by the government and the private sector.
