Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to investigate the influence of honesty and internal control on fraud prevention. The study employs a descriptive and verificative method with a quantitative approach. The chosen population for this research consists of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the city of Bandung. The sample selection technique involves Non-Probability Sampling, specifically utilizing Purposive Sampling. Data collection is conducted through the use of a questionnaire, with a total of 50 respondents employed in UMKM in the city of Bandung. Hypothesis testing in this study employs the statistical tool Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance, utilizing the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method through SmartPLS 3.0 software. Based on the testing conducted, the research results indicate that both Honesty and Internal Control have a significant influence on fraud prevention. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kejujuran dan pengendalian internal terhadap pencegahan kecurangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Bandung. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 50 orang yang bekerja di UMKM Kota Bandung. Pengujian Hipotesis pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan alat uji statistik berupa Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis variance dengan metode Partial Leas Square (PLS) melalui software SmartPLS 3.0. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kejujuran dan Pengendalian Internal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pencegahan Kecurangan.

Abstract

Gender stereotypes appear in the media, such as in films when male rulers typically govern female minority groups; this situation is known as patriarchal culture. The patriarchal culture emphasizes the need to study literature through film as a product of a culture that depicts discrimination against women through figures and storylines. This research method applies descriptive qualitative research to collect and analyze how patriarchal culture's effects on women and women's attempts against patriarchal culture are reflected in the film On the Basis of Sex (2018) using Radical Feminism theory from Kate Millet’s prespective. Research findings highlight that the film On the Basis of Sex depicts patriarchal culture effects as women's access to education, job opportunities, women's behavior, and freedom in public spaces. This study further investigates women's attempts against patriarchal culture through the female characters in this film, namely their challenges with education, carieer, self-confidence, and skills. As a result, this study's involvement reveals insight into the value of media depiction of gender issues and helps to advance the gender equality movement for women. Abstract

There are several percent of grade XII high school students in Padang city who do not understand the importance of studying at university and the constraints of tuition fees for those who are less fortunate. This has an impact on the relatively low mindset for the intelligence of the nation in the future. The purpose of community service activities is to increase the number of grade XII high school graduates in Padang city with scholarships accepted at State Universities every year. The method of implementing activities according to priority problems with the solutions offered in the form of lectures, discussions and counseling methods. The solution offered to grade XII high school students in Padang city provides counseling on the importance of studying at university and scholarships for those who are less financially able. This solution is expected to have an impact on the number of high school graduates in Padang city accepted at State Universities every year increasing by around more than 80%. Continuing education to university is very important because it can increase knowledge and skills, open up career opportunities and develop personality. To continue their education, prospective students can obtain various types of scholarships provided by the government and the private sector.

Abstract

This research discusses consumer protection against loss of balance for DANA E-Wallet users from the perspective of DSN MUI Fatwa No. 16/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 concerning Sharia Electronic Money. Considering the growth in e-wallet use in Indonesia, especially in Medan Tembung District, Medan City, losing customer balances requires strong protection. The DSN MUI fatwa on sharia electronic money provides guidance regarding the application of sharia principles in the use of electronic money and its implementation. This research uses empirical methodology and focuses on real cases in Medan Tembung District. The research results show that there are several weaknesses in the current legal protection of DANA E-wallet users, especially related to the claim and rescue settlement mechanism. It is hoped that the recommendations from this research can be a consideration for regulators and e-wallet service providers to increase consumer protection, in accordance with sharia principles and existing fatwas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menhasilkan media interaktif berbantuan aplikasi canva untuk materi pecahan kelas III SD yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yakni analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data diperoleh melalui 3 cara yaitu dengan: observasi, wawancara, dan kuisioner. Media ini di validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media serta melakukan uji kelayakan kepada siswa kelas III SD yang berjumlah 31 siswa. hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor presentasi 93% dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh skor presentasi 93% dengan kateggori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil respon peserta didik dapat diperoleh skor presentase 89% dengan kategori sangat layak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian ini media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis canva sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar oleh siswa kelas III SD.
