Abstract

In this research Trigonometry Technique was implemented to predict the ball movement direction for Wheeled Soccer Robot Goalkeeper. The performance of goalkeeper robot in Wheeled Soccer Robot Contest is very important. The crucial problem with goalkeeper robot is the delay in ball detection by the camera because the results of the camera images captured are always slower than the pictures that have been captured. This causes the robot's response to blocking the opponent's kick ball being late. Trigonometry Technique is one technique that can be used to predict the direction of the ball movement based on trigonometry mathematical formulas. The input data used is the location of the last ball position (x?last ball and y-last ball) and the location of the current ball position (x-current ball and y-current ball). The outputs are the prediction of the next ball location (x-predict ball and y-predict ball) and the prediction of ball movement direction prediction. The results are the goalkeeper's robot successfully predicts the opponent's kick direction with 90% accuracy and can predict the location of the next ball very well. By implementing this method, it is expected to optimize the performance of the goalkeeper robot in saving the goal.

Abstract

Kontes Robot Sepak Bola Beroda (KRSBI – Beroda) tahun 2022 telah diadakan secara luring. Kemampuan utama yang harus dimiliki robot saat pertandingan adalah mencari, mengumpan, menggiring, dan menendang bola ke gawang. Namun, masih banyak tim kontestan yang langsung menendang ketika mendapat bola. Hal tersebut disebabkan dikarenakan robot tidak bisa membuat keputusan yang baik sehingga kemungkinan terjadinya gol menjadi kecil. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka diberikan solusi yaitu penerapan metode decision tree sebagai strategi keputusan mengumpan, menggiring, menghindar, atau menendang. Pengambilan keputusan akan ditentukan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu posisi robot, posisi kawan, posisi gawang, dan posisi robot lawan. Waktu respon robot mencari gawang lawan dan kecepatan robot menghadap ke gawang lawan memiliki rata-rata 2.46 detik dengan range jarak X terhadap gawang = 500-6000, dan range Y terhadap gawang = 500. Hasil nilai gain terbesar yaitu pada bola dengan nilai 1 akan dijadikan node utama atau root node. Dari pohon keputusan robot dapat membuat keputusan mengumpan, menghindar, menggiring, atau langsung menendang ke gawang lawan lebih efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

Sidoarjo Regency is one of the major administrative regions in East Java that has actively pursued regional development initiatives to strengthen village-based tourism and local economic resilience. One of the strategic approaches adopted by the local government is river revitalization, which is designed not only to restore the ecological and hydrological functions of rivers, including their role as groundwater reserves, but also to enhance their potential as tourism and recreational assets. This approach reflects an integrated development strategy that combines environmental sustainability with community-based economic development. To support the implementation of these programs, the Shipbuilding Institute of Poltytechnic Surabaya (PPNS) has established a formal collaboration with the Sidoarjo Regency Government through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration provides an institutional framework for PPNS to contribute to regional development through research activities, community engagement, and human resource capacity-building programs. As part of this collaboration, PPNS plays an active role in facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technical expertise to local stakeholders involved in village development initiatives. The river revitalization program has been implemented in several selected locations, including Sumorame Village and Kemantren Village, which have been identified as areas with potential for river-based tourism development. In these villages, PPNS provides academic and technical assistance to support the planning and implementation of river revitalization activities, with a particular focus on improving environmental quality, strengthening community participation, and enhancing the sustainability of tourism development. The findings of this study highlight the importance of institutional collaboration and academic involvement in ensuring the effective implementation of river revitalization as a strategy for sustainable village tourism development.
