Abstract

Teacher education issues are the fundamental concerns underlying critical pedagogy studies in Indonesia. Numerous issues have emerged, becoming topics of public discourse. These issues have arisen because teachers’ competencies are not being realized even after they have undergone teacher education. Among the issues are a teacher’s motivation to teach, the ability of teachers to enhance the quality of education through the improvisation of the hidden curriculum, and the demand for critical thinking among students. This study was conducted using qualitative methods with a literature review approach, gathering data on teacher education issues through a theoretical analysis of diverse literature related to the observed phenomena. The results indicate that most of the emerging educational issues are indeed rooted in the degradation of teacher education, which ultimately leads to a decline in the quality of education. Addressing this requires improving teacher education—from enhancing teachers’ motivation to teaching to developing the competencies that can be internalized through the teaching profession.

Abstract

Program pendidikan yang bagus memerlukan konsep perencanaan pembiayaan yang matang. Tanpa perencanaan yang baik, program sekolah sulit untuk dapat direalisasikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kajian pustaka, teknik analisis model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi data reduction, data display, dan conclusion verification, keabsahan data mengguakan trianggulasi sumber. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, bahwa melalui optimalisasi budgeting sekolah mampu mengendalikan keuangan sekolah, bisa memetakan pemasukan dan pengeluaran biaya sekolah serta bisa menseving dana sekolah dengan baik dalam rangka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan biaya pada satu tahun ajaran.

Unsur ini menjadi hal yang urgen untuk diperhatikan dan dengan segala upaya komponen ini perlu diadakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaranUntuk mengadakan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan tentunya tidak serta merta beli barang tersebut melainkan harus menerapkan prinsip-prinsip implemenatasi dalam menejerial yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi, sehingga segara aktivitas dan pengadaan barang dan jasa diupayakan menjadi efektif dan efisien, khsusnya pada bidang perencanaan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana Metode pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif pada bidang perencanaan sarana dan prasarana di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ma'arif 02 Jombang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam perencanaan sarana dan prasarana di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ma’arif 02 Jombang, subjek penelitiannya adalah wakil kepala madrasah bagian sarana dan prasarana. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu Observasi, Interview/ wawancara dan dokumentasi, analisis data pada penelitian kualitatif dan keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ditemukan tahapan perencanaan sarana dan prasarana yang dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ma’arif 02 Jombang:1)Identifikasi dan Menganalisis Kebutuhan Madrasah dimulai dengan meninjau langsung kondisi sarana dan prasarana pada setiap ruang dan lahan di lingkungan Madrasah. SDM yang ada di Madrasah dengan alasan bahwa merekalah yang tahu secara pasti apa yang dibutuhkan dan juga melaporkan ada sarana prasarana yang sudah tidak layak digunakan.2) Inventarisasi Sarana dan Prasarana Yang Ada dengan memberikan keterangan kondisi terkini sarana dan prasarana yang meliputi, jenis barang, keadaan, fungsi dan keberadaannya dilakukan satu tahun sekali setiap akhir semester genap.3)Mengadakan Seleksi dengan mengutamakan sarana dan prasarana yang bersifat skala prioritas dalam pengadaan sarana dan prasarana. 4)Sumber Anggaran/Dana menyesuaikan dengan anggaran madrasah, dengan memetakan sarana dan prasarana yang memang urgen dalam pengadaannya.

Abstract

students through the use of innovative learning media in the form of a smart board and number windmill. The main issue identified at MI Bustanul Ulum 06 Gumukmas is the low arithmetic ability of students, particularly in grasping basic addition concepts. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Research and Development (R&D) method, referring to the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media is designed to incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements to stimulate the learning interest of students aged 7–10 years. Based on trial results, the media was found to be highly feasible, with an eligibility score of 94%. The use of this media effectively increased students' enthusiasm and active participation in learning and facilitated a better understanding of addition through a fun and concrete approach. Therefore, the use of the smart board and number windmill is effective in supporting the learning process of mathematics at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

This research seeks to evaluate the role of the Good Deeds Troop Community’s activities in fostering virtuous character within modern society in Jember Regency, focusing on three core aspects: the relationship with God (Hablu Min Allah), interpersonal relationships (Hablu Min Annas), and the relationship with the natural environment (Hablu Min al-Alam). The central issue addressed in this study is the extent to which community initiatives contribute to shaping positive character in the midst of rapid modernization. Utilizing a qualitative approach through a case study method, data were gathered from in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation involving both community members and local residents. The findings demonstrate that the community's activities significantly enhance spiritual practices and religious awareness (Hablu Min Allah), reinforce social values such as cooperation and mutual care (Hablu Min Annas), and encourage environmental responsibility (Hablu Min al-Alam). This study highlights that active participation in community-based initiatives plays a crucial role in cultivating noble character traits that align with both religious teachings and societal values prevalent in Jember Regency.

Abstract

This study examines how religious programs support the development of students’ spiritual character within the framework of the Pancasila Student Profile (Profil Pelajar Pancasila) at MA Wahid Hasyim Balung Jember. Adopting a qualitative case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated using triangulation. The findings reveal that activities such as congregational dhuha prayers (shalat dhuha berjamaah), istighotsah (collective supplication), Qur’an recitation (khotmil Qur’an), and hajj rituals practice (manasik haji) have been routinely implemented and play a role in cultivating discipline, responsibility, and empathy among students. These efforts are supported by institutional commitment, teacher involvement, and family participation. However, the process of spiritual value internalization faces several challenges, including variations in student motivation, limited supervision, social and digital media influences, and inconsistent family support. The study concludes that while religious programs contribute to strengthening spiritual character, ongoing collaboration between schools, families, and the community is needed to address existing obstacles and to enhance character education in Islamic schools.
