Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas lagu anak sebagai media terapi bagi anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme, gangguan fonologis yang mempengaruhi pengucapan bunyi œR. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif di Desa Binjai Bakung, Kecamatan Pantai Labu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan paired sample t-test. Objek penelitian adalah anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme yang diberikan intervensi dengan lagu anak ciptaan dan dua lagu anak lain yang memiliki konsonan œr. Data dari 13 anak menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam kemampuan berbicara. Pada pretest, nilai minimum adalah 13 dan maksimum 50, dengan rata-rata 35,37 dan standar deviasi 6,91. Setelah intervensi, nilai posttest meningkat dengan minimum 50 dan maksimum 75, rata-rata 61,15, dan standar deviasi 7,11. Observasi menunjukkan beberapa anak memiliki masalah pada alat ucap dan kegugupan saat berbicara, tetapi tidak ada yang mengidap autisme. Masalah pengucapan tidak terkait dengan bahasa sehari-hari, dan mayoritas anak tidak merasa minder berbicara di depan umum serta mampu mempertahankan percakapan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lagu anak yang kaya akan konsonan œR efektif sebagai stimulus untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pengucapan dan kepercayaan diri anak-anak penyandang rhotisisme. Kata kunci: Komunikasi, Lagu Anak, Rhotisisme, Treatment   AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of children™s songs as a therapeutic medium for children with rhotisism, a phonological disorder that affects the pronunciation of the œR sound. The research used a quantitative experimental method in Binjai Bakung Village, Pantai Labu District. Data were collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire, and analyzed using normality test and paired sample t-test. The object of the research was children with racism who were given an intervention with a children™s song created by them and two other children™s songs that have the consonant œr. Data from 13 children showed significant changes in speaking ability. In the pretest, the minimum score was 13 and the maximum was 50, with a mean of 35.37 and a standard deviation of 6.91. After the intervention, posttest scores increased with a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 75, a mean of 61.15, and a standard deviation of 7.11. Observations showed that some children had speech problems and nervousness when speaking, but none had autism. Pronunciation problems were not related to colloquial language, and the majority of children did not feel inferior speaking in public and were able to sustain conversations. This study shows that children™s songs rich in œR consonants are effective as a stimulus to improve the pronunciation skills and self-confidence of children with rhotisism. Keywords: Communication, Children™s Songs, Rhoticism, Treatment

Abstract

At this time, science and technology are developing rapidly. Where humans really need social media in their lives both to get the latest information or other things. The use of social media is increasing every year. Daily human activities cannot be separated from the use of social media. However, users sometimes do not understand good language etiquette in using social media. This will have a negative impact or effect on the social media users themselves or other users. The partners for this community service activity are the Yapim Bandar Vocational School, precisely in class X. This community service activity is carried out for four months, starting from May to September 2021. The mass media users, both Facebook, Instagram, and other part. Where their previous habit was when using social media, they did not pay attention to ethics in language so that it could lead to misconceptions with readers or other social media users. It is hoped that with the training held by the community service team, in the future, class X SMK Yapim Bandar students can use language ethics when using mass media

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of nature-based instructional design on the emotional well-being of children with special needs, particularly those experiencing anxiety disorders. Children with special needs and anxiety often face significant barriers in their learning process, where anxiety can hinder concentration, social interaction, and emotional balance. Therefore, an educational approach that not only focuses on cognitive aspects but also emphasizes the emotional health of students is crucial. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, this research was conducted at Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to comprehensively examine the students' behaviors and situations within the context of nature-based learning. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling, involving students actively engaged in nature-based education at SALAM and educators with direct experience. The findings indicate that direct interaction with nature through multisensory learning and a pressure-free atmosphere significantly enhances the emotional well-being of children, such as self-confidence, emotional regulation, and social interaction. This learning approach serves not only as an educational method but also as a therapeutic intervention that calms and supports the holistic character development of the child. Observations and interviews reveal a reduction in anxiety symptoms among students and an increase in positive values such as empathy, responsibility, and independence. The open, flexible, and pressure-free learning environment has a positive psychological impact, aligning with the Biophilia Hypothesis, which emphasizes the human-nature connection for psychological well-being. The integration of nature-based learning approaches into Indonesia’s inclusive education system is highly recommended as an effective strategy to support the comprehensive development of children with special needs. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh desain pembelajaran berbasis alam terhadap kesejahteraan emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya yang mengalami gangguan kecemasan. Anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan gangguan kecemasan seringkali menghadapi hambatan signifikan dalam proses belajar mereka, di mana kecemasan dapat mengganggu konsentrasi, interaksi sosial, dan keseimbangan emosional. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga memperhatikan kesehatan emosional peserta didik menjadi sangat krusial. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini dilakukan di Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM). Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menggali informasi secara menyeluruh mengenai situasi dan perilaku peserta didik dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis alam. Subjek penelitian dipilih melalui purposive sampling, melibatkan peserta didik yang aktif dalam pembelajaran berbasis alam di SALAM dan pendidik yang memiliki pengalaman langsung. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi langsung dengan lingkungan alam melalui pembelajaran multisensori dan atmosfer non-tekanan secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan aspek kesejahteraan emosional anak, seperti kepercayaan diri, regulasi emosi, dan interaksi sosial. Pembelajaran ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pendidikan, tetapi juga sebagai intervensi terapeutik yang menenangkan dan mendukung perkembangan karakter holistik anak. Hasil observasi dan wawancara mengindikasikan penurunan gejala kecemasan pada peserta didik serta peningkatan nilai-nilai positif seperti empati, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Lingkungan belajar yang terbuka, fleksibel, dan bebas dari tekanan akademik memberikan dampak psikologis yang positif, sejalan dengan Hipotesis Biofilia yang menekankan koneksi manusia dengan alam untuk kesejahteraan psikologis. Integrasi pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis alam ke dalam sistem pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia sangat direkomendasikan sebagai strategi efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan menyeluruh anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data regarding the comparison of the use of Indonesian in formal and informal contexts among UNIMED Biology Education Students and to examine the use of formal and informal Indonesian in various communication situations among Biology Education students at UNIMED. This research method is quantitative. The population in this study were Biology Education students at Medan State University, with a sample size of 24 students. Research data was collected using a questionnaire technique consisting of 10 statement items. The research results show that based on survey results, the majority of respondents (70.8%) rarely use formal language in daily conversations on campus, indicating a tendency for casual communication between fellow students. However, a small majority (16%) often use formal language, while only (12.5%) always use formal language. Although the majority avoided using formal language regularly, none never used it, indicating an awareness of the importance of formal language in certain contexts, such as presentations, academic discussions, or interactions with lecturers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and improve students' critical thinking skills in Indonesian language errors in writing papers for students in the biology education study program at Medan State University, which was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. Through qualitative descriptive research methods, researchers provide a real picture of what happened in the field, namely language errors in a biology education student's paper at Medan State University. The technique for collecting data used reading and note-taking techniques. In this research, the intralinguistic analysis method is used, namely an analysis method that compares linguistic elements with reference to the meaning of these language elements (linguistic properties). Includes errors ranging from the use of capital letters, italics and bold letters. The data source in this research is papers from biology education students at Medan State University. The results of this research show that the analysis of language errors contained in student papers is in the form of Indonesian spelling errors which include errors ranging from the use of capital letters, italics and bold letters. From the overall results of this research, 25 usage errors were found. Errors in the use of letters include 6 errors in the use of capital letters, 13 errors in the use of italics, and 6 errors in the use of bold letters. Errors in the use of Indonesian spelling occur because students are not careful, pay less attention and do not master the rules of good and correct writing so that there are still several errors that appear in writing papers.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa/i SMPN 4 Tanjung Pura selama ini adalah: (1) kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai materi puisi, (2) kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis puisi, dan (3) keadaan sosial ekonomi siswa menyebabkan siswa mengalami beberapa kendala untuk bisa meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan literasi. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pendampingan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan metode hypnotik energi sebagai refreshing bagi siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Pura Kabupaten Langkat dengan harapan kegiatan ini akan membawa dampak positif bagi siswa khususnya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai puisi, keterampilan menulis puisi dan melalui hipnosis energi diharapkan siswa menjadi lebih bersemangat dan termotivasi untuk menulis sehingga berdampak terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan, yaitu (1) metode pendidikan dilakukan dengan cara menjelaskan pentingnya memiliki belajar tentang sastra, memahami puisi dan pentingnya memiliki keterampilan menulis puisi, (2) metode latihan dan praktik untuk melatih keterampilan menulis siswa khusunya menulis puisi, dan (3) bimbingan dan pendampingan dalam menerapkan pendekatan hypnotik energi dalam menulis puisi sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang baik sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Haisl PkM, yaitu siswa/i berpartisipasi aktif mengikuti pendampingan, guru dan siswa dapat mengetahui manfaat kegiatan pendampingan menulis puisi dengan hypnotik energi, siswa/i mampu mengaplikasikan kemampuan menulis puisi sebagai pendukung proses pembelajaran di sekolah serta menumbuhkan semangat dan motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita inspiratif siswa kelas IX MTs Binaul Iman Karangsari. Instrumen pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan tes essay  untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis cerita inspiratif siswa kelas IX MTs Binaul Iman Karangsari dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Peneliti menggunakan pretest dan postest untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan rumus Deskripsi Korelasi Product Moment. Setelah memperoleh hasil analisis data penelitian, maka selanjutnya dilakukan pembuktian hipotesis untuk mengetahui apakah hipotesis diterima kebenarannya atau ditolak dengan menggunakan uji tes (uji “t”). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata – rata pre test kemampuan menulis cerita inspiratif sebesar 69,9. Setelah penggunaan metode discovery learning, rata – rata nilai post tes kemampuan menulis inspiratif  siswa mengalami peningkatan yakni dengan nilai rata – rata 85,4. Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0, 71 dan berdasarkan uji t juga diperoleh t  hitung sebesar 7,31 dan t tabel sebesar 2,00. Maka nilai t hitung yang lebih besar dari t tabel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima (Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak). Hal ini berarti bahwa metode discovery learning memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita inspiratif pada siswa MTs Binaul Iman Karangsari

Abstract

This research aims to develop Nearpod media-assisted teaching materials for Drama courses in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Medan. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, carried out until the product revision stage after validation. The research population was all fourth-semester students who took the KDBK Drama Teaching course, with 156 students. The sample was selected purposively, namely one class of 37 students who took part in learning using Nearpod-based teaching materials. The results showed that expert validation gave a perfect percentage for content aspects (85.7%), presentation aspects (85.5%), linguistic aspects (85.8%), and design aspects (85.6%). In addition, the results showed that using Nearpod media-assisted teaching materials significantly improved student learning outcomes in drama learning. This finding indicates that Nearpod is an effective digital media in improving engagement and learning outcomes in literature education.
