Abstract

The aimed of this research is todescribe the code writing & the function in the community of Mobile Legend Bang Bang players and the specific terms which is used of that community,especially found at Pasar baru, Sibuntuon Parpea Villages Lintongnihuta subdistrict. An ethno sociopragmatic approach used to analyze the data Which related to code writing, function of code writing & special terms which used of the community Mobile Legend Palayer in the Subdistrict mentimed. Collecting the data Conducted with technique of observation & interview. Result of the reseach found about 43 special terms that used of Batak Toba language Speaker. Phenomenon of that code writing happened about the factor of limitation by using code of the speaker Which is as the users of BBT so that if it is used Batak Toba Language because less of efficient. This Phenomenon Finally affected their Comunnication in the real life. So,the function of code writing in this phenomenon is to optimize and to effective the used of Vocabularies in Batak Toba Language.

Abstract

Abstract

Music is a tool for musicians to express what you want delivered. In the song "Bento" by Iwan Fals and Naniel is a very nice song and able to attract the attention of various circles. Song Iwan Fals is dominated by social criticism to the government during the New Order. Based on the analysis of the author with the study of pragmatic model Teun Van A. Djik find that song Bento is a social critique of the authorities / executives in the New Order. In this work also contains the criticism against officials who use their position to enrich themselves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persoalan-persoalan sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Pasung Jiwa karya Okky Madasari. Sumber data penelitian adalah buku novel Pasung Jiwa karya Okky Madasari yang bertemakan sosial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode mendeskripsikan data secara mendalam. Data dikumpulkan melalui tahapan pembacaan teks novel Pasung Jiwa secara seksama, mengklasifikasikan data, menafsirkan hasil analisis data, mengkonfirmasi hasil analisis, selanjutnya menyimpulkan hasil analisis. Hasil dari kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam bentuk persoalan sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Pasung Jiwa karya Okky Madasari, yaitu: persoalan kemiskinan, persoalan kejahatan, persoalan disorganisasi keluarga, persoalan generasi muda, persoalan konflik sosial, dan persoalan birokrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of managing school operational assistance in optimizing learning media at SD N. 173330 Sibuntuon, Lintongnihuta District. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. This study uses source and technical triangulation as well as theory to find the validity of the data. The results of the research at SD N. 173330 Sibuntuon show that: 1) the strategy for managing school operational assistance in optimizing learning media is carried out with the stages of budget planning (budgeting), budget procurement, budget allocation (allocating), budget use by prioritizing media, learning materials and tools , make bookkeeping (accounting), supervision and accountability following the technical guidelines for BOS; 2) The problems of the school operational assistance management strategy are: a) teachers do not want to actively participate in the process of making RKAS, b) learning media that have been damaged by the time the fiscal year is running, c) lack of understanding of teachers about the technical guidelines for the use of BOS funds, d) some teachers cannot operate learning media, e) the ability of employees to repair damaged learning media. 3) Efforts to overcome the problems of managing School Operational Assistance are a) communication between teachers and the BOS treasurer, b) managing finances, prioritizing learning media that are more important and will be used soon, c) libraries add reading materials, d) provide guidance to teachers about how to use learning media.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pondasi penting dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa karena kurikulum memegang peran krusial dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, seringkali kurikulum yang digunakan cenderung homogen dan kurang memperhatikan kearifan lokal suatu daerah. Sementara itu, karya sastra melambangkan kearifan lokal dan dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran yang kaya serta menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendekspripsikan pentingnya kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam karya sastra dalam meningkatkan kualitas kurikulum merdeka dengan menggunakan karya sastra sebagai materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan studi literatur eksploratif. Temuan penelitian menemukan bahwa dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran, generasi muda dapat lebih baik memahami, menghargai, dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya, menjaga eksistensi kearifan lokal sebagai landasan kuat pembentukan karakter dan identitas bangsa. Sehingga, melalui Kurikulum Merdeka yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal bermuatan karya sastra, generasi muda dapat tumbuh menjadi individu yang memiliki kedalaman pemahaman terhadap kearifan lokal, mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya, dan membangun karakter yang kuat dalam menghadapi masa depan

Abstract

Teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong are not fully prepared for the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in terms of pedagogy, learning structure, and preparation of teaching modules. Another crucial issue is the cultural identity crisis, where many teaching modules do not integrate Toba Batak's local wisdom, causing students to lose connection with their cultural heritage. In addition, the use of technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as Chat GPT, is still very minimal due to low technological literacy among teachers, which hinders the creation of more creative, relevant, and interactive teaching modules. This service aims to improve teacher competence in developing teaching modules using artificial intelligence (AI). The methods used include intensive training, educational technology workshops, and mentoring programs for teachers. The training results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the local wisdom-based Merdeka Curriculum, with an average increase of 41% from pretest to posttest. The educational technology workshop also increased teachers' knowledge regarding using Canva and Gamma applications, with an average increase of 29%. Assessment of the teaching modules produced showed that all participants reached the minimum standard with an average score of 78, which shows the service's success in improving teacher abilities. Nevertheless, some teachers still need further assistance, especially in the aspects of learning design and evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai budaya dalam cerita rakyat "Sigalegale" dari Tapanuli Utara menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Fairclough. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada analisis wacana kritis Fairclough, yang mengkaji nilai-nilai budaya dalam cerita tersebut. Teknik analisis data mengikuti model analisis interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan tercermin melalui ketakwaan, kebiasaan berdoa, dan sikap berserah diri, seperti yang digambarkan oleh tokoh Rahat Raja dan Rahat Bulu. Hubungan manusia dengan alam menekankan pentingnya harmoni, penggunaan sumber daya alam yang bijaksana, dan penghormatan terhadap alam. Hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat terlihat dari nilai-nilai kebersamaan, solidaritas, musyawarah, dan gotong royong. Nilai-nilai hubungan manusia dengan orang lain mencakup keramahan, kasih sayang, dan kesetiaan. Sementara itu, hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri mencerminkan harga diri, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, dan semangat menuntut ilmu. Penulis juga menekankan identitasnya sebagai pelestari budaya Batak dan menggambarkan masyarakat Batak sebagai komunitas yang kuat dan tradisional.

Abstract

This research explores the values of ecological wisdom contained in Toba Batak's oral stories, especially the legend of "Tombak Sulu Sulu." The background of this research is based on the importance of environmental preservation amid the threat of ecological disasters around Lake Toba. The method used is qualitative, with an ethnographic study conducted in the Bakkara Valley. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, field observations, and documentation related to the legend. The results showed that this legend contains five central values of ecological wisdom: respecting nature, living in harmony with nature, wise use of natural resources, using environmental knowledge for place naming (toponymy), and making nature a spiritual tool. These values emphasize the importance of harmonious relationships between humans and the environment that can be integrated into nature conservation and sustainable development efforts. This research offers a new perspective on how traditional narratives can build societal ecological awareness.
