Abstract

The tentative claim is that there has been a shift in communication ethics on social media towards the negative. Many people exhibit forms of communication that contain hate speech hoax news. This study explores communication ethics from the perspective of M. Quraish Shihab's tafsir al-Mishbah. This research uses library research with data collection method through documentation. The results show that in Islam, communication must pay attention to good morals or ethics according to Islamic teachings. M. Quraish Shihab's thinking through his interpretation shows relevance to the objectives in communication ethics in general, namely maintaining speech, courtesy, mutual respect and humanizing humans.

Abstract

Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menguraikan pengertian pendidikan dan asal kata pendidikan, fungsi pendidikan terhadap setiap orang, dan juga ayat-ayat dan hadist yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Adapun tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah mengetahui pengertian pendidikan, mengetahui asal kata dan fungsi pendidikan terhadap setiap orang, dan memahami ayat-ayat dan hadist yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif karena ingin menjelaskan fenomena alamiah. Hasil penelitian mengindentifikasi beberapa ayat Al-Quran dan hadits yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan. Urgensi pendidikan mengacu pada proses pembinaan dan pengarahan yang lebih luas dalam pembentukan kepribadian dan sikap mental kepada peserta didik sebagai bekal dalam menjalankan peran mereka sebagai hamba dan khalifah Allah di dunia ini.

Abstract

This study discusses the interpretation uffin in the Qur'an as a form of sarcasm in response to the decline of morality ethics in social interaction between people or generations. The type of research used is analytical descriptive research with a qualitative approach, because it  is a method used to analyze the contents of the message conveyed by the verses mentioned the word uffin in it based on the interpretation of ulama. The results found that the word uffin was used in different contexts, both as a prohibition on hurting parents, as an expression of anger and disapproval, and the uffin words as denial to God, parents and those who give religious advice or the message of kindness to others. According to the ulama interpretation, uffin expresses dissatisfaction, anger, even insult, which is considered linguistically rude or full of annoyance. These results provide insight into how the word uffin is used as sarcasm in social interaction. The implications of this research emphasize the need to understand the context of the use of sarcasm in everyday life and to develop the right attitude in responding to it, in order to maintain ethical and moral harmony in social interactions.

Abstract

The tradition of roah segare is known by the people of Kuranji Dalang village as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT for having bestowed natural products on the community through the implementation of the roahsere tradition. On the other hand, this tradition is expected to further strengthen human friendship among humans and to familiarize humans with nature. The implementation of this roah sere tradition in practice indirectly actualizes the educational values of the Qur'an, including the first value of deliberation in Q.s al-syura/42:38, which has implications for the division of work they do, the second is the value of habituation, which has implications for the hereditary tradition, the three exemplary values in Q.s. Al-Ahzab/33:21, which has implications for strengthening good values in this tradition, the four values of brotherhood in Q.s al-Hujurat/49:10, which have implications for cohesiveness and unity in performance, the five values of cooperation and mutual assistance in Q.s. al-Maidah/5:2 which has implications for smoothness and ease in implementing the roah segare tradition, and the six social welfare values in Q.s al-Hasyr/59:9 which has implications for social care among human beings.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research were to examine the fatherless p enomenon in the context of Muslim society, and to analyze the discourse of father’ roles in the Prophets’ stories in the Qur'an. This research used a qualitative approach in the form of library research with a thematic (maudhu‘i) interpretation method combined with discourse analysis. The primary data sources were from the Qur'an and classical and contemporary tafsir books, while the secondary sources were obtained from relevant  books  and  scientific  articles.  The  data  analysis  was  conducted descriptively and analytically to understand the construction of discourse on fatherhood in the Qur'an and its relevance to current social realities. The results of this research showed that the fatherless phenomenon in Muslim societies appeared in three main forms, namely physical, emotional, and functional forms, which were influenced by factors such as divorce, economic pressure, patriarchal culture, and low levels of parenting literacy. The Qur'an, through the stories of Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Ya'quband Prophet Nuh, described the role of the father as a spiritual leader, educator  of  faith,  moral  guide,  emotional  protector, and  loving  dialogical communicator. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fenomena fatherless dalam konteks masyarakat Muslim, serta menganalisis wacana peran ayah dalam kisah para Nabi di dalam Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode Tafsīr tematik (maudhu‘i) yang dipadukan dengan analisis wacana. Sumber data primer berasal dari al-Qur’an dan kitab-kitab Tafsīr klasik maupun kontemporer, sedangkan sumber sekunder diperoleh dari buku serta artikel ilmiah yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis untuk memahami konstruksi wacana pengasuhan ayah dalam al-Qur’an dan relevansinya dengan realitas sosial saat ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena fatherless dalam masyarakat Muslim muncul dalam tiga bentuk utama, yaitu fatherless fisik, emosional, dan fungsional, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor perceraian, tekanan ekonomi, budaya patriarki, serta rendahnya literasi parenting ayah. Al-Qur’an melalui kisah Nabi Ibrahim, Nabi Ya‘qub dan  Nabi Nūḥ menggambarkan peran ayah sebagai pemimpin spiritual, pendidik iman, pembimbing moral, pelindung emosional, dan komunikator dialogis yang penuh kasih sayang.
