Abstract

Abstract: New local Church Planting (CP) is an effective way of carrying out the Great Commission. CP must continue to be implemented in any situation and condition, including in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim of the research is to find the servants of Christ interpret their experiences in doing CP in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The analysis technique is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were five main themes, namely, first, CP as a form of obedience to the Vision of God; second, the Covid-19 pandemic era as an opportunity and opportunity for CP; third, in CP there is love and social care in a real and holistic manner; fourth, there is Covid-19 pandemic education as a form of national responsibility; fifth, the results of the CP, namely the establishment of a church coaching group and the CP had a positive impact on the commitment to serve and the increased participation of the congregation in CP services. A special theme is the need for the involvement of servants in the community of God's servants from an early age to strengthen each other in CP services. Keywords: Experience, Church planting, Covid-19 pandemic era, Interpretative phenomenological analysis Abstrak: Penanaman gereja (Church Planting-CP) lokal baru merupakan cara yang efektif dalam melaksanakan Amanat Agung. CP harus terus dilaksanakan dalam situasi dan kondisi apapun termasuk di era pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui para pelayan Kristus memaknai pengalamannya dalam melakukan CP di era pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Teknik analisis yaitu Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya lima tema utama yaitu, pertama, CP sebagai wujud ketaatan terhadap Visi Allah; kedua, era pandemi Covid-19 sebagai kesempatan dan peluang CP; ketiga, dalam CP ada kasih dan kepedulian sosial secara nyata dan holistik; keempat, ada edukasi pandemi Covid-19 sebagai wujud tanggung jawab warga negara; kelima, hasil CP yaitu berdirinya kelompok pembinaan jemaat dan CP berdampak positif terhadap komitmen melayani serta meningkatnya partisipasi jemaat dalam pelayanan CP. Tema khusus yaitu pentingnya keterlibatan pelayan dalam komunitas hamba Tuhan sejak dini untuk saling menguatkan dalam pelayanan CP. Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the ministry of church leaders to the congregation, including when implementing the PPKM policy. Mutual attention between congregations is also reduced. However, the emergence of the "Immanuel Tresno (DUIT) Public Kitchen" has eased the burden on the GKJ Immanuel congregation in Surakarta who was exposed to Covid-19. This research aims to explain the significance of participatory leadership through the DUIT forum in empowering the congregation during the PPKM Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Collecting data through interviews with DUIT managers and congregations served by DUIT and DUIT's written sources. The research was carried out from July to October 2021. The results of the research are that there are four main points of significance for participatory leadership, namely being responsive, active, effective, and creative in empowering the congregation during the PPKM Covid-19 pandemic to serve victims exposed to Covid-19. This finding is important to inspire leaders in their ministry to the congregation and other communities, especially during emergency situations. Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 membuat pelayanan pemimpin gereja kepada jemat mengalami hambatan termasuk saat penerapan kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM).  Saling perhatian antar jemaat juga berkurang.  Namun munculnya wadah “Dapur Umum Immanuel Tresno (DUIT)”, telah meringankan beban jemaat GKJ Immanuel di Surakarta yang terpapar Covid-19. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan signifikansi kepemimpinan partisipatif melalui wadah DUIT dalam pemberdayaan jemaat pada masa PPKM pandemi Covid-19.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada pengelola DUIT dan jemaat yang dilayani oleh DUIT dan sumber-sumber tertulis milik DUIT.  Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2021. Hasil penelitian yaitu adanya empat pokok signifikansi kepemimpinan partisipatif yaitu responsif, aktif, efektif, dan kreatif dalam memberdayakan jemaat di masa PPKM pandemi Covid-19 untuk melayani korban yang terpapar Covid-19. Temuan ini penting untuk memberi inspirasi kepada para pemimpin dalam pelayanannya kepada jemaat dan masyarakat lainnya terlebih ketika dalam situasi darurat.

Abstract

Penggembalaan remaja generasi Z oleh gereja merupakan suatu panggilan yang mulia karena remaja adalah masa depan gereja. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya terkadang gereja tidak memperhatikan kualitas pembimbing dan karakteristik generasi Z yang jauh berbeda dengan generasi sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pemahaman dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan menurut surat 1 Petrus 5:1-4 dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembimbing remaja generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode metode eksegesa teks, studi literatur dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada kekeliruan pemahaman pembimbing remaja tentang tentang prinsip ‘jangan dengan paksa’. Sedangkan dalam penerapannya pembimbing masih mengalami hambatan karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang karakteristik remaja generasi Z. Perlu upaya peningkatan kualitas pembimbing dengan melakukan ‘4C for Gen-Z’ yaitu Character Building, Capacity Building, Community Based, Creativity Based’. Upaya ini sangat tepat untuk diterapkan oleh pembimbing remaja generasi Z di manapun berada. The shepherding of generation Z teenagers by the church is a noble calling because teenagers are the future of the church. However, in its implementation, sometimes the church does not pay attention to the quality of mentors and the characteristics of generation Z which are very different from the previous generation. The purpose of this study is to explain the understanding and application of the principles of shepherding according to 1 Peter 5: 1-4 in improving the quality of mentors of generation Z teenagers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with text exegesis methods, literature studies and interviews. The results of the study are that there is a misunderstanding of the teenager mentors about the principle of 'do not force'. While in its application, mentors still experience obstacles due to a lack of understanding of the characteristics of generation Z teenagers. Efforts are needed to improve the quality of mentors by carrying out '4C for Gen-Z', namely Character building, Capacity building, Community based, Creativity based'. This effort is very appropriate to be applied by mentors of generation Z teenagers wherever they are.

Abstract

Abstract. Does religious moderation only relate to human life so that harmony can be created? Through this reflection, we offer the fifth indicator of Religious Moderation in Indonesia. This indicator is Compassion for All Creation as a broader relationship than the four current indicators of Religious Moderation. Compassion for all creation is inspired by the concept of Deep Incarnation and the exposition of Romans 8:18-30. This construction leads to harmony between the universe and living creatures that are embodied in all religious communities in Indonesia.Abstrak. Apakah moderasi beragama hanya mengatur kehidupan antarmanusia sehingga dapat tercipta keharmonisan? Melalui refleksi tersebut kami menawarkan indikator kelima Moderasi Beragama di Indonesia. Indikator tersebut adalah Welas Asih kepada Seluruh Ciptaan sebagai suatu relasi yang lebih luas dari empat indikator Moderasi Beragama saat ini. Welas asih kepada seluruh ciptaan dijiwai dari konsep Inkarnasi Dalam (Deep Incarnation) dan eksposisi Surat Roma 8:18-30. Konstruksi tersebut membawa pada keharmonisan alam semesta dan mahkluk hidup yang menubuh pada seluruh umat beragama di Indonesia.
