Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of live weight (LW) on libido, sperm quality, testosterone, luteinizing hormone (LH) in Ongole grade (OG) bull. This study used 32 heads of OG bull with a completely randomized design that were divided to four different LW groups, i.e. group I was 170 to <210kg, group II was 210 to <250kg, group III was 250 to <290kg and group IV was 290 to 330kg. Parameters: observed were libido, testosterone hormone, LH, and semen quality. Data were analyzed by ANOVA. Libido of OG bull in group II and III higher than those in group IV. The testosterone hormone and LH showed that group II, III and IV were better than group I. The highest LH was in group IV, but low levels of testosterone were observed in these respective groups. Live sperm was the lowest in group I (21.25±13,20%) than II (66.00±11.17%), III (59.80±22.20%) and IV (75,67±9.46%). It can be concluded that the libido, sperm quality, testosterone, LH of OG bull in group II, III and IV were better than those in the group I, therefore standard LW of OG bulls had at least 250 kg.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to characterize spermatozoa motility of sexed semen (X and Y) using albumin by diluents and antioxidant treatments. The material used in this study was fresh semen of Ongole Crossbreed (OC) bull with progressive motility >70%. The sperm sexing methodology used albumin gradient of 5%, 10%, and 15%. The diluents used were CEP-2 and andromed with or without the addition of 1mM Glutathione as an antioxidant. The sexed semen was made into liquid semen and stored at 3-5°C. The motility was observed at day 0 (H0) and day 5 (H5). Motility was analyzed using SCA v.2.1. The parameters measured were total motility, progressive motility, VCL, VSL, VAP, LIN, STR, WOB, ALH, BCF and sperm hyperactive. The experimental applied was the factorial pattern 2 x 2. The first factor was the type of diluents (CEP-2 and Andromed), and the second factor was additional glutathione (with or without). Data was analyzed by general linear model of SPSS-IBM 24 program. Sexed semen with CEP-2 diluents showed better motility of spermatozoa than andromed in the upper layers (spermatozoa X) and lower layers (spermatozoa Y). The CEP-2 diluent had a big role to maintain motility, progressive motility and velocity spermatozoa during cold storage. The addition of Glutathione 1mM could support the motility of sexed spermatozoa at cold storage, especially for LIN, STR, and WOB values.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran, hambatan, dan dampak media media sosial TikTok terhadap perilaku serta. dampak negatif dan juga positif yang mana pada saat ini media sosial TikTok sangat disukai oleh para remaja terutama para remaja di SMP Amal Luhur Medan yang setiap harinya menggunakan media sosial TikTok. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian yang lengkap, penulis melakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi langsung dan wawancara langsung dengan informasi penelitian. Dengan demikian, bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Amal Luhur Medan bulan Maret 2023. Penelitian ini memiliki 7 informan, terdiri dari siswa dan siswi dari kelas VII, serta 2 guru sebagai key informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial TikTok sangat memengaruhi perilaku remaja. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh tontonan yang mereka lihat pada media sosial TikTok. Tontonan tersebut dapat memberikan respon atau rangsangan ke otak yang akan membuat penggunanya secara sadar ataupun tidak melakukan hal yang sama seperti pada media sosial TikTok tersebut. Itulah yang dapat mempengaruhi atau mengubah perilaku remaja. Selain itu, perunahan perilaku tersebut memiliki efek positif dan negatif yang mempengaruhi kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah membekali pelaku UMKM di Desa Gadingrejo tentang pentingnya branding produk yang kuat serta strategi membuat konten media sosial Instagram yang efektif. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sebanyak 26 peserta yang mayoritas bergerak bada bidang makanan olahan. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan ABCD. Pendekatan ABCD adalah sebuah paradigma yang menekankan pentingnya mengenali dan mengembangkan aset, potensi, dan kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh komunitas. Dalam pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan empat langkah yaitu discovery, dream, design dan destiny. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan jika semula para pelaku UMKM dalam menjalankan usahanya masih sangat tradisional hanya sebatas membuat produk dan memasarkannya secara terbatas lokal desa. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan muncul semangat baru dan optimisme dalam membesarkan usaha UMKM yang mereka jalankan. Peserta pelatihan sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan karena wawasan mereka terbuka dan timbul optimisme untuk membesarkan branding produk dan jangkauan pemasaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan omset pendapatan mereka.

Abstract

Strategi komunikasi dalam menciptakan iklim organisasi di lingkungan kantor badan pengembangan sumber daya manusia provinsi sumatera utara, untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pimpinan dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang baik antara para pegawai di lingkungan kantor badan pengembangan sumber daya manusia.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan teknik wawancara dan lokasi penelitian dilingkungan kantor pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Provinsi Sumatera Uutara.Strategi komunikasi pegawai dalam menciptakan iklim oraganisasi dikantor BSDM dilakukan melalui berbagai upaya yaitu meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal, peran pimpinan dalam menciptakan komunikasi yang baik dengan para pegawai dikantor BSDM sebagai komunikator yang aktif dan efektif serta juga memberi saran untuk tercapainya tujuan bersama.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) and its impact on parental participation at MAN 12 West Jakarta. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the management process and parental involvement. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that SBM has been well implemented, particularly in participatory planning that actively involves parents in policy formulation. However, parental participation in the management implementation and supervision stages still requires improvement due to time constraints and suboptimal communication. The school committee plays a crucial role as a mediator between the school and parents, but direct parental involvement remains limited. Digital communication media have helped enhance interactions but have not reached all parents equally. This study concludes that SBM at MAN 12 West Jakarta effectively promotes parental participation, yet more inclusive communication and empowerment strategies are needed to increase parental engagement in all aspects of school management. The findings contribute valuable insights for developing participatory and community-based educational management in madrasahs.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve and beautify the Quran reading of the NU Muslim community in the Jatiroto village, Kayen, Pati. Tilawatil Quran is an activity to improve the reading of the Quran in accordance with applicable rules including recitation, sound, song, breath and fashahah. The NU Muslimat Community of Jatiroto Kayen Pati Village in organizing an event always includes Quran recitations in the agenda. Solid and militant cadres are potential for the NU Muslimat of Jatiroto Village. Behind this potential, the NU Muslimat of Jatiroto Village still lacks cadres who can recite Quran recitations, so the staff who carries Quran recitations are very limited. This training is one solution to recruite the stock of NU Muslimat cadres in Jatiroto Village so that they can bring Quran recitations in an event that is being held. The target of this training is NU Muslimat cadres in Jatiroto Village who are interested in participating in the training. The implementation of community service in the form of training uses an Asset based community development (ABCD) approach with six procedures including setting scenarios, revealing the past, dreaming of the future, mapping assets, planning actions as well as evaluation and learning. As a result of this dedication, participants in the Tilawatil Quran training had mastered basic Tajweed knowledge, were able to practice basic vocal, tone and breathing techniques.
