Abstract

In accordance with the level of his age, learning mathematics in elementary schools should start from a concrete concept first before students are brought to the concept in the form of abstract mathematical symbols. Local culture of the community becomes a real part that is faced by students in their daily lives. So the use of local culture as a mathematics learning content can lead students to a concrete mathematics learning experience. This paper tries to explain the results of research focusing on the development of local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in the Cirebon community. The purpose of this study was to produce mathematics materials based on the local culture of Cirebon society. Teaching material developed meets valid and effective criteria. the type of research used is development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) procedures. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' mathematical understanding after learning is applied by using local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in the Cirebon community. The increase in the average value of students 'mathematical understanding abilities is from 41 to 71. Thus, the use of local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in Cirebon society can improve students' mathematical understanding abilities.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar merupakan pondasi bagi pendidikan selanjutnya, dimana karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar tentunya berbeda dengan siswa pada jenjang selanjutnya hal ini didasari karena struktur kognitif siswa siswa sekolah dasar tidak dapat dibandingkan dengan struktur kognitif orang dewasa. Sehingga siswa SD perlu diberikan kesempatan untuk berlatih keterampilan-keterampilan proses sains sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitifnya yaitu melalui pembelajaran yang lebih berpusat pada siswa aktif. Melalui tulisan ini pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) terbukti secara empiris dapat dijadikan salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA. Kata Kunci: Penbelajaran IPA SD, Guided Inquiry

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif ini dilatar belakangi oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran IPAS, serta mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas media pop up book digital terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Reseach and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskiptif. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi ahli materi dengan nilai rata-rata 91,6%  dan ahli media mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 90% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sementara itu, hasil uji kepraktisan dari respon siswa dan respon guru mendapat rata-rata 85% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kemudian, hasil analisis data statistik dengan menggunakan uji paired sampel t-test menghasilkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 50,975 lebih besar dari t-tabel yaitu 2,058. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pop up book digital dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.  Penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi untuk IPAS di sekolah dasar, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan literatur pendidikan digital, khususnya dalam penerapan media interaktif berbasis visual untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the low understanding of students towards cultural literacy is shown by the tendency of students more interested dengan budaya in foreign culture than budaya local culture typical of Majalengka, as belum well as the absence of media to mengkaitkan literasi link cultural literacy. The problem tersebut requires a solution in the form of learning media that integrate elements kearifan of local wisdom with technology, so that the solution offered in this study iniis the development of Interactive media charged Keloma uuntuk improve cultural literacy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Stages of research include analisisNeeds Analysis, perancanganmedia design, development produk yang divalidasi of expert-validated products,sertaas well astrials to deployment. The results of this study inishowed that Keloma media was declared feasible and practical to use with validation ahli of material experts from lecturers sebesarat 82.5% and from teachers at 86.25%, ahlimedia experts at 100%, ahli linguists at 92.8%, and ahli cultural experts at 95%. The results responof the teacher's response sebesarwas 86%, and respon the student's response sebesarwas 91.1%. While the effectiveness test through paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posstest results. So it is proven that Keloma media is effective in improving cultural literacy. Penelitian Further research is expected dapatto developsimilar media with cakupan budaya yang wider cultural coverage luas and integrate fitur interaktif other interactive features to pengalaman siswa optimize the student experience. Keywords: Interactive Media, Keloma, Culture Literacy ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap literasi budaya ditunjukkan dengan siswa kurang mengenal budaya lokal penggunaan bahasa daerah dalam sehari-hari dan belum mengenal budaya yang ada di daerah sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembanga, mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitas literasi budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Cieurih yang berjumlah 44 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling yang merupakan teknik mengambil sampel secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 44 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Keloma dinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dengan hasil persentase validasi ahli materi dari dosen sebesar 82,5% dan dari guru sebesar 86,25%, ahli media sebesar 100%, ahli bahasa sebesar 92,8%, dan ahli budaya sebesar 95%. Hasil respon guru sebesar 86%, dan respon siswa sebesar 91,1%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dan hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0.6 pada kategori sedang untuk literasi budaya siswa. Dengan demikian, media Keloma terbukti layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya siswa. Kata Kunci: Media Interaktif, Keloma, Literasi Budaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPAS, terkhusus pada lingkup IPS. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang lebih berpusat pada guru bukan pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning (PJBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPAS kelas IV sekolah dasar. Dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project based learning (PJBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Quasi eksperimen. Dan diperoleh hasil bahwa dari hasil analisis uji-t terhadap nilai posttest kelas kontrol dan eksperimen memaparkan adanya pengaruh model project based learning (PJBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPAS kelas IV sekolah dasar nilai sig 2-tailed sebasar 0,000 < 0,05. Selain itu, berdasarkan skor N-gain yang diperoleh oleh kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,5719 dengan N-gain pearson sebesar 57,19322, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPAS kelas IV setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project based learning (PJBL). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning (PJBL) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi IPAS kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools still faces challenges in delivering abstract concepts, which affects students’ understanding and engagement. This study aims to analyze the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in science learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The method follows the PRISMA framework, including identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. Data were collected from various scientific databases, resulting in 120 articles, which were reduced to 30 articles after screening, and 15 articles were selected for analysis. The results indicate that AR has a positive impact on improving conceptual understanding, learning outcomes, student motivation, and engagement. In addition, AR contributes to the development of higher-order thinking skills, scientific literacy, and science process skills. Therefore, AR can be considered an innovative and effective learning medium to enhance the quality of science learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is an educational approach that plays a crucial role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly through science education. However, the integration of ESD into science education remains suboptimal and has not been comprehensively studied. This study aims to analyze the integration of ESD into science education, the instructional models used, and research trends related to ESD integration during the 2020–2026 period. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were obtained by searching for articles in the Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the Publish or Perish application. Following the selection process, 15 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were identified for analysis. The results of the study indicate that the integration of ESD into science education is implemented through various approaches such as STEM/STEAM, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Project-Based Learning (PJBL), active learning, ecoliteracy, critical thinking, and systems thinking. The STEM and STEAM approaches are the most dominant learning models used because they are capable of enhancing students’ scientific literacy, creativity, critical thinking skills, and sustainability awareness. Furthermore, the implementation of ESD in science education has also proven effective in improving students’ environmental literacy and problem-solving skills through active and contextual learning. Research publication trends indicate that studies on the integration of ESD in science education have increased during the 2020–2025 period and are predominantly published in SINTA-indexed national journals.

Abstract

Science Process Skills (SPS) are essential competencies that support elementary school students in understanding Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) concepts through scientific activities. However, previous studies indicate that students’ science process skills have not yet developed optimally. This study aimed to analyze the condition of elementary school students’ science process skills, identify the most dominant and least developed indicators, and examine effective learning models for improving science process skills in IPAS learning. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. Literature was collected from Google Scholar and Scopus databases using the Publish or Perish application, covering publications from 2017 to 2025. Of the 415 articles identified, 15 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The findings revealed that students’ science process skills generally ranged from low to moderate levels. The most dominant indicators were observing, communicating, and classifying, while predicting, formulating hypotheses, and designing experiments were the least developed. Furthermore, inquiry and guided inquiry learning models were found to be the most effective approaches for enhancing students’ science process skills. These findings highlight the importance of student-centered and inquiry-based learning in developing science process skills within IPAS instruction.

Abstract

The environmental crisis, climate change, energy depletion, and unsustainable human behavior have become global challenges requiring educational transformation from an early age. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning through the STEM-ESD approach in developing sustainability consciousness among elementary school students. This research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by reviewing scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026 from Google Scholar, ERIC, DOAJ, ScienceDirect, and reputable journals. The findings indicate that STEM-ESD effectively integrates science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and sustainability principles into contextual and project-based learning. This approach improves students' sustainability consciousness through three dimensions: cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects. Students become more capable of understanding environmental issues, developing environmental awareness, and implementing sustainable behaviors in daily life. However, several challenges remain, including teachers’ readiness, learning resources, and the consistency of sustainability-oriented learning implementation in elementary schools. Therefore, STEM-ESD serves as an innovative educational approach that supports 21st-century competencies and promotes sustainable development goals through meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
