Abstract

In accordance with the level of his age, learning mathematics in elementary schools should start from a concrete concept first before students are brought to the concept in the form of abstract mathematical symbols. Local culture of the community becomes a real part that is faced by students in their daily lives. So the use of local culture as a mathematics learning content can lead students to a concrete mathematics learning experience. This paper tries to explain the results of research focusing on the development of local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in the Cirebon community. The purpose of this study was to produce mathematics materials based on the local culture of Cirebon society. Teaching material developed meets valid and effective criteria. the type of research used is development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) procedures. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' mathematical understanding after learning is applied by using local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in the Cirebon community. The increase in the average value of students 'mathematical understanding abilities is from 41 to 71. Thus, the use of local culture-based mathematics teaching materials in Cirebon society can improve students' mathematical understanding abilities.

Abstract

Teknologi pemilu merupakan sebuah keniscayaan di era digital. Berbagai kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi telah mendorong banyak negara memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membantu penyelenggara pemilu melaksanakan demokrasi elektoral. Indonesia termasuk negara yang menggunakan teknologi dalam pemilu. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, teknologi pemilu tidak serta merta menghasilkan efisensi dan efektifitas. Misalnya, penggunaan aplikasi SITUNG (Sistem Penghitungan Suara) untuk proses rekapitulasi suara berbasis online justru menimbulkan polemik di tengah masyarakat menyangkut kepercayaan publik yang dipicu oleh adanya kesalahan teknis penyelenggara pemilu. Hal ini diperparah dengan hadirnya isu negatif dan kabar bohong selama pemilu sebagai konsekuensi dari era post truth. Artikel ini membahas penggunaan teknologi pemilu dalam proses tahapan rekapitulasi suara melalui SITUNG pada pemilu 2019 yang menghadirkan perdebatan antara efisensi dan kepercayaan publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan SITUNG dalam proses rekapitulasi suara menjadi kontroversial sebab adanya kesalahan teknis yang dilakukan oleh penyelenggara pemilu dalam prises input data ke SITUNG memicu keraguan dan kecurigaan publik. Momentum ini dimanfaatkan oleh calon kandidat dan elit politik yang kalah dalam pemilu untuk memobilisasi massa agar tercipta public distrust yang pada akhirnya berujung pada upaya untuk mendelegitimasi hasil pemilu. Hal tersebut semakin diperkeruh di tengah era post truth yang ditandai dengan hadirnya isu negatif dan berita palsu menggunakan media sosial.

Abstract

Primary research related to the implementation of Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities has been carried out a lot. These studies need to be identified, their developments analyzed, and general conclusions drawn so that they can be used as suggestions for the progress of researchers and practitioners in the field of education. This study aims to look at research trends by identifying and classifying all research results related to the application of the Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) model to improve students' mathematical problem solving skills in Indonesia in 2018-2022. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. There are 7 related articles analyzed in this study. The results of this SLR show that the most research on the implementation of the Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities was mostly carried out in 2021 and the most research subjects were elementary students. The most widely used research method is the quantitative method and in general the results show that the Discursus Multy Reprecentation (DMR) model is able to have a positive impact or improve students' mathematical problem solving skills compared to other learning models. The results of this study can be a consideration for researchers in conducting research and for teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom

Abstract

The issue of asylum seekers and refugees is a global challenge that has a direct impact on recipient countries, including Indonesia. In DKI Jakarta, the presence of refugees has given rise to social polemics, such as public rejection of illegal refugee tents, which reflects the social impact and pressure on local infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the security dilemma in the management of asylum and refugee immigrant policies based on Presidential Regulation No. 125 of 2016, with a focus on the human security approach that includes positive (inclusive) and negative (exclusive) dimensions. Through qualitative methods with an instrumental case study approach, this study found that the state's position is not biased between the two sides of human security, namely: Inclusive human security, which is oriented towards refugee protection and Exclusive human security, which places citizens as the main priority. Existing policies have not been able to guarantee the protection of basic refugee rights while maintaining social stability. This study recommends a more holistic and collaborative policy approach and full commitment from the government, by looking at the socio-economic integration model of other countries such as Colombia. The implementation of structured, inclusive, and sustainable handling of asylum immigrants and refugees can not only improve protection for refugees, but also support social harmony and national stability, strengthening Indonesia's position in the international arena.

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Informatika Sony Sugema merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan yang memiliki sistem pengolahan data, sehingga mengharuskan semua data dapat diolah dengan baik, disimpan dengan tertib dan mudah ditelusuri asal usulnya. Namun sistem akademik yang digunakan masih mempunyai kekurangan yaitu belum optimalnya partisipasi mata kuliah, pengelolaan data siswa, data guru, jadwal mata kuliah, alokasi mata kuliah dan belum adanya sistem pembelajaran online sepanjang satu semester. Kemudian untuk mengatasi kekurangan pada sistem akademik, penulis bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem akademik Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Informatika Sony Sugema dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall. Kemudian mengembangkan sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), database MySQL dan framework bootstrap, serta Visual Studio Code sebagai sarana pengkodean. Dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu sekolah dalam mengelola data pembelajaran. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem E-learning berbasis web yang dapat mengoptimalkan layanan informasi kehadiran, mengelola data mahasiswa, data dosen, jadwal perkuliahan, klasifikasi mata kuliah, pembagian mata kuliah, dan sistem pembelajaran online selama periode semester.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada kerjasama antara Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga (Disdikpora) Kabupaten Pandeglang dan Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat Cendekiawan Kampung (CK), dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pola hubungan antara aktor formal dan informal dalam praktik tata kelola SDM di daerah. Peran negara yang semakin tidak dominan dalam menangani masalah sosial memungkinkan kerja sama dengan aktor non-pemerintah. Teori relasi institusi Gretchen Helmke dan Steven Levitsky menganalisis kerjasama ini. dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus Creswell. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara Disdikpora dan CK selalu berubah dan memiliki banyak variabel. Pola hubungan yang ditemukan bervariasi antara accommodating, substitutive, competing, dan complementary. Meskipun terjadi kolaborasi administratif, CK sering kali mengambil alih tugas penting dari pemerintah karena kapasitas institusi formal yang lemah. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemerintahan menjadi lebih informal, dengan aktor informal menjadi lebih dominan dalam pelaksanaan program publik dan pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan untuk penelitian tentang tata kelola kolaboratif dan hubungan kuasa antara aktor formal dan informal di lingkungan lokal

Abstract

The Kapitan Oey Kiat Tjin tomb site in Tangerang can be understood as an act of cultural relations in an area that captures social practices in the Kampung Baru housing complex. This site has become a topic of discussion which has an impact on the complexity of group interactions with the background of Chinese cultural heritage given the existence of the tomb. This is designed to classify cultural elements related to social dynamics which include customs, symbols and culture that play a role in building the identity of the Chinese community in the region, especially if we take Charles Taylor's theory of how identity is created by recognition, we can understand how the tomb of Oey Kiat Tjin is a socially constructive form built with heritage as well as cultural values that influence the perception of society in the Tangerang area. Taylor's recognition is not only based on formal formulations or from other institutions but instead emphasizes the values that direct the role and services of the captain. towards local development at that time which decorated the expression of self-identity and subject power by the Chinese community which had existed since the Dutch government to be appreciated and absorbed as a cultural habitus in regional aspects. The analytical results were presented in dialogue efforts and interviews with local sources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ethnoscience-based inquiry learning model on elementary school students' understanding of science concepts in the topic of Harmony in Ecosystems (Eating and Being Eaten). The study was conducted in fifth-grade students at SDN Kadipaten VIII Majalengka using a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group design. Subjects were divided into two groups: the experimental class, which received instruction using the ethnoscience-based inquiry model, and the control class, which received instruction using the Direct Instruction model. The research instrument was a conceptual understanding test administered before and after the learning process. Data were analyzed using the Normality test, Homogenity test, Independent Samples t-Test and N-Gain calculation to determine differences in outcomes and improvements between the two groups. The results showed that the initial abilities of both classes were relatively equal, but after the treatment, there were significant differences in learning outcomes and improvements in conceptual understanding, with the experimental class showing higher results. The ethnoscience-based inquiry model has been proven to encourage students to actively observe, ask questions, conduct simple investigations, and relate learning materials to local phenomena and culture, making learning more meaningful, engaging, and effective in improving students' understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the low understanding of students towards cultural literacy is shown by the tendency of students more interested dengan budaya in foreign culture than budaya local culture typical of Majalengka, as belum well as the absence of media to mengkaitkan literasi link cultural literacy. The problem tersebut requires a solution in the form of learning media that integrate elements kearifan of local wisdom with technology, so that the solution offered in this study iniis the development of Interactive media charged Keloma uuntuk improve cultural literacy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Stages of research include analisisNeeds Analysis, perancanganmedia design, development produk yang divalidasi of expert-validated products,sertaas well astrials to deployment. The results of this study inishowed that Keloma media was declared feasible and practical to use with validation ahli of material experts from lecturers sebesarat 82.5% and from teachers at 86.25%, ahlimedia experts at 100%, ahli linguists at 92.8%, and ahli cultural experts at 95%. The results responof the teacher's response sebesarwas 86%, and respon the student's response sebesarwas 91.1%. While the effectiveness test through paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posstest results. So it is proven that Keloma media is effective in improving cultural literacy. Penelitian Further research is expected dapatto developsimilar media with cakupan budaya yang wider cultural coverage luas and integrate fitur interaktif other interactive features to pengalaman siswa optimize the student experience. Keywords: Interactive Media, Keloma, Culture Literacy ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap literasi budaya ditunjukkan dengan siswa kurang mengenal budaya lokal penggunaan bahasa daerah dalam sehari-hari dan belum mengenal budaya yang ada di daerah sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembanga, mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitas literasi budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Cieurih yang berjumlah 44 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling yang merupakan teknik mengambil sampel secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu berjumlah 44 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Keloma dinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dengan hasil persentase validasi ahli materi dari dosen sebesar 82,5% dan dari guru sebesar 86,25%, ahli media sebesar 100%, ahli bahasa sebesar 92,8%, dan ahli budaya sebesar 95%. Hasil respon guru sebesar 86%, dan respon siswa sebesar 91,1%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dan hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0.6 pada kategori sedang untuk literasi budaya siswa. Dengan demikian, media Keloma terbukti layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya siswa. Kata Kunci: Media Interaktif, Keloma, Literasi Budaya
