Abstract

The management of payroll data at the Islamic Economics College (STEI) Bina Muda Bandung is still conducted manually, leading to inefficiencies, risks of errors, and delays in administrative processes. This research aims to develop an integrated payroll information system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in payroll data management. The Scrum method was chosen as the system development approach due to its flexibility, rapid iteration, and focus on team collaboration. The development process was carried out through a series of sprints, with each sprint focusing on completing specific features, such as payroll calculation automation and payslip generation. User feedback (from administrative staff) was collected regularly to ensure the developed system met their needs. The results show that the Scrum method is effective in producing an information system that automates payroll processes, reduces payslip generation time, and improves staff satisfaction. The implementation to serve as a model for other educational institutions in supporting digital transformation. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of payroll data management in the education sector through a structured and adaptive Scrum approach.

Abstract

The Al Ma’soem Foundation in Bandung has a Public Relations (PR) department responsible for letter archiving. Currently, the archiving process is still done manually using Microsoft Office and physical archive boxes, which is considered less effective and efficient. Common issues include difficulty in locating letters, data loss, and document damage. To address these problems, this study aims to design an information system architecture for letter archiving using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method with cloud computing integration. The EAP method consists of several stages, including planning initiation, business modeling, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and implementation planning. The results of this study produce a framework (blueprint) that includes 4 main business processes, 17 data entities, 6 applications, and proposed cloud-based technology solutions. By implementing cloud computing, the letter archiving system is expected to become more efficient, secure, and easily accessible, thereby supporting the organization's operational efficiency. This study also provides implications for other organizations looking to improve their archiving systems through cloud computing technology.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya is a senior high school located on Jalan Panyadap Majalaya No. 2 Kec. Solokanjeruk Kab. Bandung. Teaching and learning activities carried out by the school mostly still use conventional methods, namely face-to-face where the teacher enters the class to take attendance, deliver material and give assignments. In practice, there are concerns felt by the school, such as the vulnerability of attendance data, materials and the slow process of evaluating or assessing student performance. The method used in the development of information systems in this study is Rapid Application Development which emphasizes a relatively short development cycle with a system development cycle including Requirement, Design, Implement, Test, and Maintenance. The design of this e-learning information system is expected to be a solution in overcoming the vulnerability of attendance data and materials that can be lost or damaged. Then the e-learning information system can help teachers in evaluating or assessing student performance quickly and easily with the print or export feature on student grade reports. The expected alternative learning media has also been completed and can be used properly in achieving the previously set goals.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based information system for booking wedding organizer services at Keina Decoration, a company engaged in engagement and wedding event decoration. The main problems faced by the company included limited digital visibility, unstructured service information, manual booking processes through messaging applications, and difficulties in building customer trust. To address these issues, a web-based system was designed using PHP with the Laravel framework, a MySQL database, and an interface supported by Bootstrap and JavaScript. The research employed a research and development approach with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, and evaluation. User requirements were documented for both customers and administrators, and black box testing was applied with specific evaluation criteria. Quantitative evaluation was conducted by comparing the manual and new systems, showing significant improvements: average booking time was reduced from 30 minutes to 5 minutes, booking errors decreased from 15% to 2%, and user satisfaction increased from 3.1 to 4.6 on a 5-point scale. The results indicate that the system not only improves operational efficiency and accuracy but also strengthens the professional image and competitiveness of Keina Decoration. The practical contribution of this research is providing a digital solution for wedding organizers to enhance customer experience and trust. The academic contribution lies in enriching the literature on information system implementation in the creative industry, which remains limited. Future development may integrate online payment gateways, automated notifications, and transaction analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Abstract

PKM ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan siswa SMK pada konsep pengembangan game edukatif dengan jaringan LAN menggunakan Construct 2. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi inovasi, mengasah kreativitas, serta memberikan bekal keterampilan kolaboratif yang relevan dalam dunia pendidikan dan industri. Melalui pelatihan yang terstruktur dan terukur, diharapkan tercipta landasan yang kuat bagi siswa SMK untuk merangkul teknologi jaringan dan keterampilan pengembangan game sebagai bagian integral dari pembelajaran.

Abstract

The use of computers as a tool for completing work in the field of information system technology is increasingly widespread and growing in all fields. Computers are felt to have many advantages, because computers can be programmed so that they can be adjusted to the wishes of the user. One way to get optimal results by managing data quickly and accurately is to use a computerized system and use system development, namely the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall method in designing information systems, starting from analyzing software requirements, design, implementation, and Testing.Toko Agnia is currently still not optimal because sales and purchase data processing is carried out manually so it becomes ineffective. Based on the results of the reports that have been made, several conclusions can be drawn as follows: With the implementation of a desktop-based information system users will easily process sales, purchases and stock inventory, can speed up the processing and preparation of sales and purchases reports, the accuracy of calculations in this program can be relied upon.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the room rental strategy at PT.Technolife through the application of Linear Programming (LP). The company faces challenges in maximizing revenue with limited resources, including operational time and the maximum capacity of available rooms. To address these challenges, LP methods were employed using two main approaches: the graphical method and the simplex method, to determine the most profitable room rental combination. The results of the study indicate that the optimal rental combination can meet existing constraints while maximizing revenue. The study concludes that the LP method can be an effective tool in supporting strategic decision-making for room rental business management. By applying the findings of this study, PT.Technolife can optimize its revenue, improve operational efficiency, and provide better services to its customers. The implementation of this method can also be applied to similar companies to manage resources more effectively.
