Abstract

Abstract: One of the efforts to solve learning problems is by developing instructional resources. One of them is instructional tutorial. Based on the field observation, subject of photo media for Instruction (photography) in graduate program PBA of STAIN Kediri still employes instructional media (utilization). Thus, there is a need to develop media of instructional tutorial (by desaign) in order to overcome errors in delivering instructional messages. The aim of this study is to produce instructional media of subject of photo media for Instruction (photography) in the form of tutorial, lecturer guidance and students' guidance which is expected to be able to help students gain knowledge of facts, concepts, and proper shooting procedures. The tutorial media is developed in terms of the study of the instructional technology which is based on the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model is a systematic instructional design model consisting of five phases: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Furthermore, the product of the development of the instructional interactive multimedia will be evaluated. There are six steps in the evaluation phase: (1) judgement of the matter expert/ the material expert, (2) judgement of the design expert, (3) judgement of the media expert, (4) individual trials, (5) small group trials, (6) large group trials/ field trials. The result of expert validation for this instructional media tutorial indicates that it is properly designed, 73%. The result of media expert validation shows that it is very properly designed, 83%. The result of design expert validation shows that it is very properly designed, 82%. Personal validation is on the proper category, 70%. Result of small group validation is on proper category, 70%. Moreover, the result for big group test or field test is on the very proper category, 95%. Suggestion proposed related with the use and developing of media tutorial is (1) lecturers should be more creative and innovative in delivering instructional messages contained in this tutorial in order to make learning to be more attractive, fun, and creative, (2) there is a need to develop instructional media for subject of photo media instruction (photography) or other subjects, (3) the use of designed in media tutorial should be more interesting to make learning more interactive and interesting. Abstrak: Salah satu upaya untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran adalah dengan mengembangkan sumber daya pembelajaran. Salah satunya adalah tutorial pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan, subjek media foto untuk Pembelajaran (fotografi) pada program pascasarjana PBA STAIN Kediri masih menggunakan media pembelajaran (pemanfaatan). Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran (by desaign) untuk mengatasi kesalahan penyampaian pesan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran mata pelajaran media foto untuk Pembelajaran (fotografi) berupa tutorial, bimbingan dosen dan bimbingan mahasiswa yang diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa memperoleh pengetahuan tentang fakta, konsep, dan pemahaman yang benar. prosedur pemotretan. Saran yang diajukan terkait pemanfaatan dan pengembangan media tutorial adalah (1) dosen harus lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan pembelajaran yang terkandung dalam tutorial ini agar pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, menyenangkan, dan kreatif, (2) ada perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran media foto (fotografi) atau mata pelajaran lainnya, (3) penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dirancang harus lebih menarik agar pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan menarik.

Abstract

The right learning strategy provides benefits in mastery of learning, allowing students to collaborate and interact in implementing and creating learning projects. Through Ubiquitous Project Based Learning (UPjBL), Instructional Design fully contributes to achieving optimal learning objectives for students. This study aims to develop UPjBL Learning Design and determine the feasibility of the results. The development method for education uses the ADDIE development model stages. The data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a validation assessment sheet and a closed question instrument in the form of a five-point Likert scale. The development procedure is done by analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The study found that the Ubiquitous Project Based Learning (UPjBL) learning design is valid and feasible. It is known that the product developed has a feasibility value of 4.5 which means that the product is included in the extraordinary category or is very possible to use in the learning process. The combination of Ubiquitous learning and Project-based learning has a UPjBL learning model based on the Constructivist approach. This approach emphasizes that the learning process is centred on students by constructing knowledge obtained contextually. The lecture program units and teaching materials for Information and Communication Technology with primary computer material are adjusted to the curriculum and characteristics of students.

Abstract

This research and development project addresses the issue of low student performance in science, particularly on the topic of the solar system, which is attributed to a lack of engaging and effective learning resources. The primary objective is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of a mobile application-based learning medium in improving student learning outcomes. The study adopts the ADDIE model comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation as its methodological framework within the Research and Development (R&D) paradigm. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, with analysis conducted using parametric t-tests and Likert scales. Validation results indicated high feasibility, with scores of 96.6% for content, 75.8% for media, and 95.94% for user testing involving 30 seventh-grade students. The effectiveness test revealed a statistically significant improvement (p = 0.000 < 0.005) between pretest and posttest scores, with an N-Gain score of 0.6742, indicating a moderate effect. These findings demonstrate that mobile-based learning media are both practical and effective in enhancing science instruction on the solar system. The study recommends broader integration of mobile-based tools to enrich interactive learning experiences in science education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based e-magazine as a learning medium on the topic of classification of living organisms to improve students’ science process skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The trial subjects were 29 seventh-grade students at MTsN 3 Kediri. The research instruments included validation sheets, science process skills questionnaires, and pretest-posttest items. Data analysis techniques involved validity and reliability tests, normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The validation results indicated that the e-magazine was highly valid, with an average expert score exceeding 80%. The reliability test showed a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.932 (highly reliable). The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The average N-Gain score was 0.544, categorized as moderate. Therefore, the project-based e-magazine is considered feasible and moderately effective in improving students’ science process skills, particularly in observing, classifying, concluding, and communicating.

Abstract

Ubiquitous Project Based Learning (UPBL) offers learning opportunities that are not limited by time and place, adapts to students' level of mastery, and creates learning communities where students can engage with each other while working on learning projects. UPBL actively contributes to achieving learning goals as best as possible. This research aims to determine the relationship between Ubiquitous Project Based Learning (UPBL) and Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) with student involvement and to choose the relationship with learning outcomes. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The parametric statistical test analysis technique of Pearson product-moment correlation was used to calculate the research data findings. The output of data calculations using SPSS is correlation data between Ubiquitous Project Based Learning (UPBL) and Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) students with student involvement and learning outcomes which is known to indicate a significant relationship between UPBL and SRL students, with student involvement and learning outcomes. , which is 0.000 and 0.005, which is smaller than the value of 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between UPBL and SRL students with student engagement and learning outcomes. The research results show that UPBL is substantially related to SRL regarding student engagement and learning outcomes.
