Abstract

Aplikasi e-kuisoner yang peneliti bangun menggunakan CodeIgniter dan React-Js yang berfungsi untuk mendukung kegiatan peneliti melakukan survei kepada responden secara daring dan perlu dilakukan berbagai evaluasi kualitas aplikasi tersebut agar dapat sesuai dengan harapan dari pengguna, salah satunya melakukan analisis kualitas website dengan menggunakan metode WebQual 4.0 dengan pendekatan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan metode WebQual 4.0 serta Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) untuk mengukur tingkat kinerja dan kepentingan pada website e-Kusioner. Hasil penelitian ini didapati bahwa tingkat kepentingan dan tingkat kinerja pada website e-Kuisioner yang perlu dimaksimalkan pada kemudahan penggunaan, tampilan, serta perbaikan pada halaman informasi serta komuikasi yang harus di perhatikan oleh pihak pengelola website E-Kuisioner.Kata Kunci:WebQual 4.0, Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), Eksplorasi, Kualitas, Situs Web, e-Kuisioner.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning in mechanical engineering is a major challenge in the field of mechanical engineering, especially in understanding complex concepts such as statics and dynamics. This study aims to improve the effectiveness of the use of computer simulation and animation as an innovative learning tool in mechanical engineering. This study used a mixed approach (mixed methods) with a quasi-experimental design involving 94 mechanical engineering students from three universities in Indonesia who were divided into an experimental group using simulation and animation modules (n=50) and a control group using conventional methods (n=50). The results showed that the use of this technology increased students' understanding by 25% compared to 10% in the traditional method, with a significant difference in the post-test (t(92)=3.87, p=0.0002, Cohen's d=0.79). The experimental group also reported a higher level of engagement (85% vs 62%) and a significant reduction in cognitive load (NASA-TLX: 32.4 vs 45.7). Qualitative analysis revealed that visualization helped students connect theory with practical applications, in line with the principles of Cognitive Load Theory and Cognitive-Affective Learning Theory with Media. Although effective, the study identified implementation challenges such as software development costs, educator training needs, and disparities in technology access across institutions in Indonesia. The study concluded that computer simulation and animation have transformative potential to improve the quality of mechanical engineering education, with recommendations for future development through the integration of immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality that support the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) approach in preparing the workforce to face the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This research crafts and tests a Roblox-based Acehnese cultural learning environment showcasing virtual tours of key heritage landmarks, including the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, traditional Rumoh Aceh houses, and coastal ecological zones. Following a Research and Development approach with two-phase testing, the platform weaves together folklore-driven quests, dance reconstruction challenges, artifact recognition activities, and team-based puzzles. Findings reveal strong quest completion rates (85%) alongside marked improvements in cultural knowledge (from 32% to 76%) among the 100 teenage participants. The multiplayer design fostered genuine social connections, averaging 3.2 group problem-solving moments per session, while nearly two-thirds of players expressed desire to visit the actual locations. The adaptive difficulty system kept challenges engaging without overwhelming players. The project demonstrates how thoughtfully designed virtual environments serve as living cultural spaces where heritage breathes through active participation rather than passive observation, building bridges across generations and geography.

Abstract

This research describes the development of a cross-platform Islamic inheritance calculation system using the Streamlit framework with Python. This study aimed to create an accessible digital tool that accurately calculates inheritance distribution according to Islamic law (faraid), as mandated in Surah An-Nisa (verses 11–12). A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed in this research, utilizing a prototyping model, where the system was designed through several iterative stages: analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The resulting application integrated modular architecture separating business logic from user interfaces and validation layers for flexibility maintainability as well as platform independence. Testing on various scenarios confirmed 100% accuracy in calculating shares of six main heirs—husband wife father mother son and daughter validated against manual computations and computations based on fiqh. The application runs without additional installation requirements on Windows macOS Linux plus mobile browsers supported by responsive design plus real-time validation. Although the system has high accuracy plus usability it is limited to basic cases since advanced inheritance mechanisms such as aul radd or hijab are not included in this version. Future development is suggested to increase categories for heirs enable data storage provide educational content and integrate AI-assisted features for complex case analysis. In general, this study contributes to the digital transformation of Islamic law applications which promote accessibility transparency and computational precision in managing inheritances.
