Abstract

Media framing is a form of news framing. In Indonesia, there are many mass media, each of which has a different background. Media framing related to the 2024 presidential election contestation can be influenced by the background of the media. Learning related to media framing is important to teach critical, trustworthy, and moderate attitudes. The purpose of this research. First, to analyse media framing related to the 2024 presidential election. Second, to analyse media framing and its relevance to critical, trustworthy, and moderate education in Islamic universities. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study are that the media have different tendencies in reporting the 2024 Presidential Election Contest and framing analysis can provide learning to students about Islamic values such as objective critical, trustworthy, and standing in the middle in the truth at Islamic Universities. This research is expected to illustrate the importance of upholding Islamic values in facing the challenges of digital disruption with all the issues in it. Abstrak Framing media merupakan bentuk pembingkaian berita. Di Indonesia terdapat banyak media massa yang masing masing memilkii latar belakang berbeda. Framing media terkait kontestasi Pilpres 2024 dapat dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang media tersebut. Pembelajaran terkait framing media penting dilakukan untuk mengajarkan sikap kritis, amanah, dan moderat. Tujuan penelitian ini. Pertama, menganalisis framing media terkait Pilpres 2024. Kedua,  menganalisis framing media dan relevansinya dengan pendidikan kritis, amanah, dan moderat di perguruan tinggi keislaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu media memilik kecenderungan yang berbeda dalam memberitakan Kontestasi Pilpres 2024 dan analisis framing dapat memberikan pembelajaran kepada mahasiswa tentang nilai nilai keislaman seperti kritis objektif, amanah, dan berdiri di tengah dalam kebenaran di Perguruan Tinggi Keislaman. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberi gambaran pentingnya menjunjung tinggi nilai keislaman dalam menghadapi tantangan disrupsi digital dengan semua dinamikanya. Abstract

Many previous studies have analyzed the activities of educational institutions to build and improve the image of their institutions. Considering the importance of the image of educational institutions, there are educational institutions that delegate special tasks to improve the image of this institution to public relations. This interesting research was conducted to examine the influence of the image of educational institutions on consumer behaviour in choosing the Islamic Education Management (MPI) study program at IAIN Ponorogo. As is known, every educational institution's marketing efforts ultimately result in consumer purchasing decisions. Consumer decisions in purchasing can be understood as one of consumer behaviour. This research includes quantitative research. Data were collected using a questionnaire tool using Google Forms for 112 respondents from 165 populations. The research results show that the educational institution image variable has a significant and positive effect on consumer behaviour in choosing a major in the MPI study program at IAIN Ponorogo. The coefficient of determination shows that the consumer behaviour variable in choosing the MPI study program at IAIN Ponorogo is influenced by the image variable of the educational institution by 42,9% while the remaining 57,1% is influenced by other factors outside this research model. Based on the test results, it was found that the linear regression equation Y = 1.001x+18.944, meaning that every 1 unit change in the image of an educational institution will positively influence consumer behaviour in choosing the MPI study program at IAIN Ponorogo by 1.001.

Abstract

In the National Education Standards (SNP), there are eight minimum standards to realize quality national education. Two of them are process standards and learning facilities and infrastructure standards. Environmental changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic certainly have an impact on changes in the fulfillment of process standards and standards for learning facilities and infrastructure. Online learning has become a necessity as a learning method in universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes can ultimately have an impact on the quality of education. This study aims to determine the effect of process standards and standards of learning facilities and infrastructure on the quality of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used is primary data obtained from a survey of FATIK IAIN Ponorogo students. The results showed that the standard of the process and the standard of learning facilities and infrastructure had a significant effect either partially or simultaneously. Process standards and standards of learning facilities and infrastructure simultaneously affect the quality of education by 33.6%.

Abstract

Education has an impact on human development, both in terms of academics and character. However, this is not accompanied by the adequate quality of educational institutions. According to the results of a survey on the world's secondary education system in 2019 issued by PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), Indonesia ranked 74th out of 79 countries. To overcome this, it is necessary to improve the quality of education, one of which is to improve the leadership aspects of school principals. This study aims to describe and analyze the role, style, supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the principal's leadership in implementing the full day school program at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The leadership role of the Principal in implementing the full day school program at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo is educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, motivator. (2) The principal's leadership style in implementing the full day school program at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo is democratic. (3) The supporting factors for the principal's leadership in implementing the full day school program at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo are the principal has good communication skills, has responsibility for every activity, has good cooperation with the committee, and has good communication skills.

Abstract

Pengangguran terdidik di Indonesia terbilang cukup banyak. Meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran ini mengakibatkan melambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi negara kita. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah jumlah wirausahawan atau pengusaha yang masih sangat rendah di Indonesia. Melihat realita tersebut, lembaga pendidikan perlu menyiapkan lulusan yang kreatif, solutif dan inovatif sehingga tidak tergantung pada lapangan pekerjaan yang ada. Penyelenggaraan program peningkatkan keterampilan wirausaha siswa menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh oleh institusi pendidikan dalam mengembangkan jiwa entrepreneurship siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kegiatan perencanaan program entrepreneurship yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan penguatan visi misi sekolah, analisis faktor internal dan eksternal, menentukan program dan tujuan, membentuk tim, serta melakukan rapat program dan anggaran. (2) Kegiatan implementasi program entrepreneurship yang dilakukan di SMPN 2 Jetis Ponorogo yaitu mengadakan pelatihan, pengadaan fasilitas, praktik pembuatan batik Shibori, Sarimpon dan hidroponik. Adapun sikap kewirausahaan yang ditanamkan dalam program entrepreneurship ini yaitu sikap percaya diri, berorientasi pada tugas dan hasil, berani mengambil resiko, keorisinilan, dan berorientasi pada masa depan. (3) Evaluasi program entrepreneurship di SMPN 2 Jetis Ponorogo dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap diantaranya yaitu pengawasan, rapat evaluasi, melakukan perbaikan perbaikan atas apa yang telah di evaluasi sebelumnya dan yang terakhir adalah melakukan inovasi produk.

Abstract

Character education is an important part in forming students' personalities which must be implemented from an early age. Schools have a strategic role in developing character education through various activities and supportive school culture. Various character crisis phenomena that arise in schools make parents and teachers worry about their children's growth. Efforts are being made to overcome the problem of character crisis, SDN 1 Jenangan through cultural development. This type of qualitative descriptive research was used in this research to describe the implementation of character education in school culture at SDN 1 Jenangan. The results of the research show that the development of school culture at SDN 1 Jenangan can instill eighteen character values: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, national spirit and nationalism, curiosity, love of the country, respect for achievement communicative, likes to read, cares about the environment, cares about socialissues, love peace and is responsible for students in accordance with community values and norms.
