Abstract

Artikel ini ingin menganalisi tentang strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan manajemen pelayanan khusus madrasah, konteks penelitian yang mendasari penelitian ini ialah karena Kualitas sekolah salah satunya ditentukan oleh peran dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, disamping karena ada kualitas guru dan manajemen organisasi yang baik yang menentukan sekolah berkualitas. Sekolah yang berkualitas diperlukan inovasi dalam manajemen pelayanan pendidikan, salah satu inovasi pelayanan pendidikan di MI Ma?arif Lengkong Sukorejo Ponorogo ialah adanya manajemen pelayanan khusus madrasah yaitu pelayanan khusus perpustakaan dan pelayanan khusus kesehatan di madrasah. Keberhasilan dari pelaksanaan manajemen pelayanan khusus ini salah satunya adalah adanya strategi kepala sekolah yang tepat sasaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus, sedangkan teknik pengambilan data  peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya analisis data peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis domain, analisis taksonomi, analisis komponen, dan analisis tema. Temuan penelitian ini pertama, strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan manajemen pelayanan khusus perpustkaan melalui membangun budaya literasi sejak dini ialah 1) efektifitas manajemen pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah, 2) pembuatan pedoman dan peraturan perpustakaan sekolah, 3) pekan berkunjung perpustakaan sekolah untuk menarik minat pengunjung dan pembaca di perpustakaan, 4) hiburan mencerdaskan melalui lomba bercerita yang diadakan di akhir setelah ujian tengah semester maupun setelah ujian akhir semester. Kedua, strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan manajemen pelayanan khusus kesehatan melalui kelas sehat adalah sebagaimana berikut: 1) memasang poster menjaga kesehatan setiap kelas, 2) kerjasama dengan puskesmas untuk memberikan penyuluhan pendidikan kesehatan, 3) membentuk unit kesehatan sekolah sebagai pusat pelayanan pertama bagi siswa dan guru, 4) mengadakan lomba kesehatan dan kebersihan setiap tahun sekali untuk membangun kesadaran dan motivasi dalam menjaga kesehatan

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational members in entrepreneurship-based vision and mission innovation in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The Raudhatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Lumajang, East Java, was used as a research site. Data collection techniques used three techniques: interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the Islamic boarding school Raudhatul Ulum Lumajang applied management theory to formulate and determine Kyai's vision, namely initiating and agreeing on a vision and mission, identifying organizational mandates, and establishing a compelling organizational vision. Recommendation of research findings so that other Islamic Education Institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools, can involve the role of organizational members in determining the vision and mission of the institution being developed

Abstract

This study aims to determine the openness to experience and knowledge sharing on certified teacher learning innovations in Banyuwangi. This research was non-experimental quantitative research with a survey design. A total of 110 public and private Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Banyuwangi selected by purposive sampling participated in this survey research. The collected data were then analyzed using the WARP PLS 7.0 application and the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23. Using WARP PLS 7.0 found that: 1) openness to experience affected knowledge sharing by 77 and 3%2) openness to experience affected the innovative learning model by 48.0%. 3) knowledge sharing affects the innovative learning model by 40.6%. 4) openness to experience the innovation learning model through knowledge sharing is 13.5. It shows that openness to experience in the form of ideas through the desire to be creative with the ideas and ideas that teachers have in various madrasa activities has an impact on the active attitude of teachers in writing books, articles, or research to share their knowledge with other teacher colleagues so that teachers have habituation which is indicated by learning patterns that are developed more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of self-awareness in mediating the impact of the Usmani method and learning intensity on Al-Qur'an reading proficiency among Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Ponorogo students. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 61 mahasantri through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics and regression analysis. Findings revealed that while the Usmani method positively influenced self-awareness (0.419; 0.001), self-awareness itself did not significantly affect Al-Qur'an reading ability (0.512; 0.057). Additionally, self-awareness did not mediate the effects of the Usmani method (0.215; 0.101) and learning intensity (0.288; 0.090) on Al-Qur'an reading proficiency. These results underscore the limited mediating role of self-awareness. Consequently, it is recommended that Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Ponorogo incorporate self-awareness development programs into the Al-Qur'an curriculum through workshops and reflection sessions. The Usmani method should be tailored to individual needs, and learning intensity should be optimized to ensure effective and efficient use of students' time and energy.

Abstract

This article analyzes and discovers the educational model of Darul Amien Banyuwangi Islamic boarding school based on entrepreneurship. This type of research is field research; the data sources in this study were obtained from clerics, administrators, and students involved in entrepreneurial activities. They collect data using in-depth interview techniques, non-participant observation, and documentation. Testing the validity of the data in this study was conducted by testing its credibility. The results of the study found three models of entrepreneurship-based Islamic boarding school education, namely firstly, instilling a sense of responsibility, independence, and kinship in the togetherness of students, secondly the introduction of business units owned by Islamic boarding schools and empowering student apprentices through on the job training, thirdly coaching through mentoring of field experts. Businessman. Through these three stages, it is hoped that Islamic boarding schools will also give birth to independent entrepreneurship in Indonesia.

Abstract

Strategic planning has been applied to social organizations, including in education. This study aimed to find and examine the process of preparing and implementing strategic plans and their impact on governance quality at Madrasah Aliyah Amanatullah. This research is field research with a qualitative approach—information obtained through observation, interviews with primary data sources, and documentation. Data were analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and inference using domain analysis. The validity of the data uses intensive observation and triangulation criteria. The study findings indicate that the process of developing a strategic plan involves several steps. Firstly, it involves formulating the school's vision, mission, and goals with the participation of all stakeholders. Next, a strategic planning team is formed. The process then includes analyzing strategic planning and evaluating strategic options. Secondly, the implementation process is executed by assigning tasks and collaborating to implement strategic planning, as well as evaluating its execution. Thirdly, the effect of enhancing school governance includes the implementation of guidelines to improve the quality of educators and education staff, the enhancement of service governance to students, and the establishment of practical cooperation with all stakeholders of Madrasah Aliyah Amanatullah.

Abstract

This study integrates the dimensions of the Big Five personality traits with an Islamic perspective (Shiddiq or truthfulness; Amanah or trustworthiness; Tabligh or conveying; and Fathonah or wisdom) to explore the success of women’s leadership. The main problem underlying this study is the lack of understanding of the influence of Islamic values on personality characteristics that support the success of women’s leadership in Islamic higher education (IHE) through an inclusive leadership approach. The relevance of this study lies in the importance of identifying personality factors and religious values that can improve the effectiveness of women’s leadership in Islamic educational environments. Quantitative research using a survey method with partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) analysis on 111 respondents consisting of stakeholders in three IHEs in Indonesia using structured questionnaires as a data collection technique. The main findings indicate that Islamic values, such as Shiddiq and Amanah have a significant positive influence on personality characteristics such as conscientiousness (CON) and agreeableness (AGR), which have a direct impact on the success of women’s inclusive leadership. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of leadership training programs that focus on the integration of Islamic values and personality characteristics to strengthen women's inclusive leadership skills.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the form and model of gender-based inclusive leadership at the Ponorogo State Islamic Institute Based on Service through the analysis of the Big Five Personality Treatment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques used are unstructured in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out during the research process and afterward through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (verification). Data validity tests in this study include credibility, dependency, and confirmability tests. The results of the study are in the form of a pyramid with three levels of management, 1) top management, 2) middle management, and 3) staff management. Where the Rector as top management sets the goals and policies of IAIN Ponorogo through efforts to establish internal quality assurance standards. Middle management plays a role in developing human resources by clarifying tasks in each work unit. Staff management plays a role in good basic services. The characteristics of successful female leadership profiles at IAIN Ponorogo are shown by communication behavior in a relaxed atmosphere, open thinking in academic administration, maintaining personal relationships between lecturers and students, maintaining emotional stability of the academic community, team collaboration and mentoring, and increasing team motivation in realizing competitiveness targets. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan model kepemimpinan inklusif berbasis gender di Institut Agama Islam Negeri Ponorogo Berbasis Pelayanan melalui analisis Perlakuan Kepribadian Lima Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam tidak terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan selama proses penelitian dan sesudahnya melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji kredibilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian yaitu bentuk piramida dengan tiga tingkatan manajemen, 1) manajemen puncak, 2) manajemen madya, dan 3) manajemen staf. Dimana Rektor sebagai manajemen puncak menetapkan tujuan dan kebijakan IAIN Ponorogo melalui upaya penetapan standar penjaminan mutu internal. Manajemen madya berperan dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia dengan memperjelas tugas pada setiap unit kerja. Manajemen staf berperan dalam pelayanan dasar yang baik. Ciri-ciri profil kepemimpinan perempuan yang sukses di IAIN Ponorogo ditunjukkan dengan perilaku komunikasi dalam suasana santai, berpikir terbuka dalam administrasi akademik, menjaga hubungan personal antara dosen dan mahasiswa, menjaga kestabilan emosional civitas akademika, kolaborasi dan mentoring tim, meningkatkan motivasi tim dalam mewujudkan target daya saing. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan inklusif; gender; pelayanan; lima kepribadian besar.
