Abstract

The construction industry in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly in line with economic expansion and infrastructure acceleration. Sustainable construction is a principle implemented to minimize the adverse effects of construction activities. In order to support sustainable construction in Indonesia, up-to-date knowledge regarding its comprehensive implementation is essential. This research is conducted to understand the current status, obstacles, opportunities, and strategies in sustainable construction practices in Indonesia based on the literatures available. The first stage of this research involves identifying publications related to sustainable construction in Indonesia. Subsequently, bibliographic analysis and content analysis are conducted to address the research questions The results of the discussion show that sustainable construction practices recorded by research are still limited.. The main obstacles to the adoption of sustainable construction are the lack of expertise in this field and significant costs. The main strategies that can be employed include government commitment, both through providing incentives to address high investment costs and through the creation of specific and targeted regulations. Another factor that can promote the implementation of sustainable construction in Indonesia is stakeholder management, training, and education for the construction practitioners.

Abstract

Gempa akibat pergerakan sesar Lembang dan Cimandiri menjadi ancaman serius bagi wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB), BPBD KBB mengidentifikasi 13 sekolah menengah atas yang berada dalam zona bahaya, termasuk SMAN 1 Padalarang. Sebagai sekolah unggulan di KBB, SMAN 1 Padalarang memiliki tanggung jawab besar untuk menjaga keamanan siswa dan sivitas akademika saat menghadapi bencana gempa. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui metode pelaksanaan dengan tahapan survey dan observasi sebagai bentuk evaluasi tim terhadap keamanan struktur bangunan gedung menggunakan UPV dan Hammer Test. Penyusunan strategi pengelolaan gedung serta penataan jalur evakuasi. Kemudian dilakukan sosialisasi hasil evaluasi dan strategi yang telah disusun kepada pihak mitra beserta setiap elemennya. Hasil survey dan observasi lapangan menunjukkan permasalahan dalam mitigasi terkait desain bangunan, jalur evakuasi, dan pemahaman standar bangunan tanggap gempa yang menyulitkan strategi mitigasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diusulkan kegiatan PKM untuk evaluasi, strategi, dan sosialisasi perawatan dan perbaikan gedung agar SMAN 1 Padalarang menjadi sekolah tanggap bencana.

Abstract

Technological advancements in the construction sector are growing massively, making digitalization a necessity. Through digitization, the process of planning, implementing, and managing projects can be done more efficiently and accurately, considering that all information related to the project is centralized in one integrated base. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital system for building modeling that contains information about all aspects of a well-managed building. The object of this study will review the Precision 3 MABES POLRI South Jakarta Building by applying Building Information Modelling (BIM) based digitization. At MABES POLRI Precision 3 building project, the application of BIM has not been fully carried out, so it still uses conventional methods. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of PUPR No. 22/PRT/M/2018, the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) must be applied to non-simple buildings with the criteria of building area above 2,000 m2 above 2 floors. The building, which began construction in February 2024, has a building area of 11,200 m2 consisting of 10 floors + 1 roof, which can be categorized as a non-simple building. Therefore, in this final project, the author intends to apply BIM for the method by modeling the concept of 4D and 5D applications of dimensional BIM which includes a 3D top structure model to get the right Quantity Take Off output and planning of implementation stages as a result of this research accompanied by detailed top structural elements, and planning the stages of implementing the top structure of the MABES POLRI Precision 3 Building project using Tekla Structures 2024 - Student Version software.
