Abstract

Abstract: The rapid growth of settlement in the northern part of Bandung, as well as known KBU, increases slightly as an impact of the economy growth in the capital city of West Java. These influences strongly has some effects, such as the changing of land use and the decreasing of water absorption. For instance, the agricultural land area, the conservation area and the green area become settlement area and commercial area, therefore this area is a lack of absorption area due to the declining the green area. These evidences are following checked according to the WALHI’s data, around 70% of green area, such as protected forest, agricultural land, and plantation area leads to be settlement area, residential area and commercial area. Mostly Bandung Raya, included Cimahi, South Bandung, and Kabupaten Bandung get flood as the effect of these issues, especially when rain season. Based on the issues explanation and evidences, this research aims to have problem solving in the development of environmental friendly settlement and residential area that will lead to sustainable residences and conservation area. This research purpose is to conduct experimental-based and explorative-based the development model of sustainable residences in the Kelurahan Citeureup, one of sub-district in the North Bandung, through Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) approach. This approach is not only study from architectural aspect, but also study from landscape and the utilities aspects. Meanwhile, this method of this study is to conduct morphology analysis to recognize the pattern and urban structure, also the water flow patterns in this area. The result then will be used to elaborate the strategic developing for environmental friendly settlement and residential area (sustainable residences, especially in water well-disposed so that to reduce the flood impact when rain season, the shortage rainfall when dry season, and to fulfill further the sustainability of water needs.Abstrak: Pertumbuhan pemukiman di Kawasan Bandung Utara (KBU) terus meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Bandung sebagai Ibu Kota Jawa Barat. Dampak dari pertumbuhan ini adalah terjadinya alih fungsi lahan, yang sebelumnya merupakan lahan pertanian dan perkebunan, menjadi kawasan pemukiman. Sebagai Kawasan yang diandalkan menjadi daerah resapan air, kondisi KBU saat ini cukup mengkhawatirkan. Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun oleh WALHI, sekitar 70% lahan hijau yang berupa hutan lindung, lahan pertanian dan perkebunan telah beralih fungsi menjadi kawasan permukiman dan komersial. Dampaknya, dapat dilihat saat musim penghujan, dimana banjir terjadi hampir di sebagian wilayah Bandung Raya, mencakup Wilayah Cimahi, Bandung Selatan, Kabupaten Bandung, dan sekitarnya. Berdasarkan isu tersebut, diperlukan solusi terkait model pengembangan kawasan perumahan ramah lingkungan (perumahan berkelanjutan) yang mampu berperan sebagai kawasan konservasi air, selain sebagai tempat bermukim.Melalui pendekatan Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), penelitian ini mencoba mengeksplorasi model pengembangan perumahan berkelanjutan di Kelurahan Citeureup, salah satu kelurahan di Kawasan Bandung Utara,  tidak hanya dari segi arsitektur bangunan, namun juga terkait lansekap dan utilitas kawasan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan analisis morfologi kawasan untuk memahami pola dan struktur ruang kawasan dan pola pergerakan aliran air. Hasil dari analisis tersebut selanjutnya digunakan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan kawasan perumahan yang ramah lingkungan (perumahan berkelanjutan) khususnya dalam hal ini ramah air, sehingga dapat turut mengurangi dampak banjir ketika musim penghujan, kekeringan di musim kemarau, serta untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air berkelanjutan di masa depan.

Abstract

Abstract:. Tuban Regency is one of the regencies in East Java that has fishermen settlements along the north coast or on the northern coast line. The object of this study is the Kingking and Karangsari fishermen settlements located on Jalan Panglima Sudirman in Tuban Regency. The purpose of this study is to trace the genius loci which is formed from the activities of the local community where as the majority of the population earn a livelihood as a fishermen. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. Genius loci from the location of the study is seen from the image, space, character that is formed from community activities. Data collection is done by literature study, direct observation and unstructured interviews. Image as a fishermen settlement producing smoked and fresh fish. Space there is temporel space that occurs due to new activities in places that should have certain functions for certain activities but can define other functions with other activities. The most inherent character in this study area is where the fishermen settlements that sell various types of smoked fish along the settlements are on the edge of the highway. The results of this study indicate that the existing genius loci is expected to support the development of tourism in the region.Keyword: Genius loci, fishermen settlements.Abstrak: Kabupaten Tuban merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berada di Jawa Timur yang memiliki permukiman nelayan di sepanjang pantai utara atau di jalur pantura. Objek studi kajian ini adalah pemukiman nelayan Kingking dan Karangsari yang berada di jalan Panglima Sudirman Kabupaten Tuban. Tujuan kajian ini untuk menelusuri genius loci yang terbentuk dari aktifitas mayarakat setempat dimana sebagai mayarakat yang mayoritas bermata pencaharian nelayan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Genius loci dari lokasi kajian dilihat dari image, space, character yang terbentuk dari aktifitas masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi literatur, observasi langsung serta wawancara tidak tersetruktur. Image sebagai permukiman nelayan penghasil ikan asap dan ikan segar. Space terdapat space temporel yang terjadi akibat adanya aktifitas baru pada tempat-tempat yang seharusnya memiliki fungsi tertentu untuk aktifitas tertentu namun dapat mendefinisikan fungsi lain dengan aktifitas lain. Character yang paling melekat di kawasan studi ini adalah dimana permukiman nelayan yang menjual beragam jenis ikan asap di sepanjang permukiman ditepi jalan raya. Hasil kajian ini menunjukan genius loci yang ada diharapkan dapat menunjang pengembangan wisata kawasan tersebut.Kata Kunci: Genius loci, permukiman nelayan.

Abstract

Pendekatan infill desain merupakan sebuah usaha untuk memanfaatkan bangunan bersejarah dengan menambahkan fungsi baru yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat saat ini. Dalam konteks perancangan Stasiun Padalarang, pendekatan infill design mencakup strategi konservasi kawasan, strategi penggunaan sebagai stasiun, dan strategi perbaikan fasilitas umum serta pengembangan area parkir. Prinsip dasar dalam desain infill ini memandu penentuan zona yang menjadi pedoman dalam perancangan kawasan stasiun. Integrasi lansekap juga menjadi solusi efektif dalam upaya mengintegrasikan stasiun ke dalam lingkungan sekitarnya, serta menciptakan harmoni dalam kawasan stasiun.

Abstract

Gempa akibat pergerakan sesar Lembang dan Cimandiri menjadi ancaman serius bagi wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Barat (KBB), BPBD KBB mengidentifikasi 13 sekolah menengah atas yang berada dalam zona bahaya, termasuk SMAN 1 Padalarang. Sebagai sekolah unggulan di KBB, SMAN 1 Padalarang memiliki tanggung jawab besar untuk menjaga keamanan siswa dan sivitas akademika saat menghadapi bencana gempa. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui metode pelaksanaan dengan tahapan survey dan observasi sebagai bentuk evaluasi tim terhadap keamanan struktur bangunan gedung menggunakan UPV dan Hammer Test. Penyusunan strategi pengelolaan gedung serta penataan jalur evakuasi. Kemudian dilakukan sosialisasi hasil evaluasi dan strategi yang telah disusun kepada pihak mitra beserta setiap elemennya. Hasil survey dan observasi lapangan menunjukkan permasalahan dalam mitigasi terkait desain bangunan, jalur evakuasi, dan pemahaman standar bangunan tanggap gempa yang menyulitkan strategi mitigasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diusulkan kegiatan PKM untuk evaluasi, strategi, dan sosialisasi perawatan dan perbaikan gedung agar SMAN 1 Padalarang menjadi sekolah tanggap bencana.

Abstract

Community service was performed by planning and helping to build the Al Barokah Prayer Room, an earthquake-resistant prayer space located in Mekarlaksana Village, Cianjur Regency. As a specialist, Abdimas implements the plan and facilitates communication amongst construction workers. The purpose of this support is to ensure that the Al Barokah Prayer Room is built in compliance with the Technical Work Implementation Plan, both in terms of construction length and design. In order to maximize finance and time efficiency, a hybrid approach utilizing Whatsapp media was used for design and development support in this project. When this technology is used effectively, it facilitates coordination between field implementers, foundations, and community services, allowing for the proper handling of issues and the quick fixes that are required. In terms of coordination, supervision, problem-solving, and timeliness, the result is the realization of the design and construction of an earthquake-resistant prayer room by qualified architects and construction experts in Mekarlaksana Village, Cianjur Regency.

Abstract

Based on the results of surveys and observations on the buildings and complex of SMAN 1 Padalarang, PKM implementers found various problems that had the potential to become design challenges and various other building elements that did not meet safety standards as an earthquake response school. The results of observations and interviews with the Principal also show that there is a problem with open space that is less representative, especially in the area near the entrance. Apart from that, problems were also found in the main open space, namely the sports field area, related to the condition of the existing stands which did not meet the comfort and safety standards of the stands. With the background of these issues and problems, Community Service activities were carried out in the form of Creative Public Space Design at SMAN 1 Padalarang, West Bandung Regency. The output of this PKM activity is in the form of a creative public space design document at SMAN 1 Padalarang. It is hoped that the results of the school's creative public space design can be applied in other schools as school facilities that support student activities and are safe and apply disaster response principles in the school environment.

Abstract

According to the results and obervation, in the first construction in 1960, the Aquatic Stadium Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) with an area 24,000 m². GBK Aquatic Stadium is an international outdoor building that was inaugurated directly by the first president of Indonesia at that time Soekarno and Hatta, which had 4 swimming pools, namely competition pool, diving pool, water polo pool and training pool. GBK Aquatic Stadium was first designed by well-known architect Federick Silaban, which was later renovated in 2017 by architect Andra Matin, this renovation is because there must be conformity of the international stadium by following international swimming standards, namely the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) which one of the standards is indoor, the potential of the indoor stadium is related to the impact of the weather in Indonesia which is uncertain. In addition, the reason for renovating the GBK Aquatic Stadium is because there is a major event, namely is Asian Games which was held in Indonesia in 2018. The result of the renovation of Andra Matin is only on the roof. In accordance with the government's appeal at was, GBK Aquatic Stadium was a historic building, where the government did not allow any changes to the initial design of the stadium, Andra Matin also made new columns outside GBK Aquatic Stadium building as a support for the new roof. Andra Matin designed the roof of GBK Aquatic Stadium with a space frame wide span structure system, by applying form of fluidity or form of water properties. There are 5 waves on the right side, and flat on the roof on the left. According to Andra Matin, the water was exposed to the waves then calmed down. Since the renovation and Asian Games 2018, this area has attracted the attention of many people because of its unique building.

Abstract

A healthy and sustainable school canteen is an important step in supporting the healthy school movement. SMAN 1 Padalarang has the same mission to create a school environment that supports student welfare. This activity aims to develop Eco-Canteen facilities to encourage healthier lifestyles, improve academic performance, and support the overall development of children in an educational environment through an Adaptive-Reuse approach to unused prayer room buildings. The process of designing the old prayer room building into a canteen involved structural evaluation, creating a healthy catteen design and a renovation process to create a safe, clean and environmentally friendly canteen for the entire school community. The methods used include drawing the existing floor plan, evaluating the condition of the old building, designing an eco-canteen and providing assistance. The assistance activities carried out include arranging green spaces, placing healthy living posters, and creating murals with environmental education messages in the canteen area. The design of this eco-canteen functions to support environmentally friendly behavior, support creativity and take steps towards sustainable education, so that with the existence of an eco-canteen at SMAN 1 Padalarang it is hoped that it can become a model for other schools in implementing the concept of a sustainable, healthy canteen.

Abstract

Providing a healthy and sustainable school canteen is one of the important efforts in supporting the healthy school movement, which is in line with the mission of SMAN 1 Padalarang. This design aims to apply the concepts of adaptive reuse and ecology in designing an environmentally friendly canteen. This design focuses on reusing existing and unused buildings, namely the prayer room at SMAN 1 Padalarang, to reduce environmental impacts and minimize the use of new resources. The methods used include observation, literature study, analysis of existing building conditions, and involving the school community in the design process. The process of adapting the old prayer room design into an environmentally friendly canteen involved structural evaluation, previous architectural design and assistance for canteen renovation. The design results apply the principles of ecological architecture by using environmentally friendly materials, optimizing natural light, energy efficiency and considering user comfort. Apart from that, students benefit from education about the environment, nutritious food, as well as education about murals as a medium. This design not only produces a functional and attractive space, but also serves as a concrete example of efforts to create a healthy and sustainable learning environment. accompanied by canteen management that pays attention to environmental sustainability and nutritious food for students.
