Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the leadership of the principal at MTS AL-JIHAD MEDAN, the method used in this research is descriptive research using qualitative. Data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. These results find that leadership and education are two different things. Leadership itself means a main object that has influence on other objects, while education is an effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students are able to absorb or get something new, whether in the form of knowledge and experience. On this occasion we will discuss leadership in integrated Islamic school education institutions. In an Islamic educational institution at Mts Al Jihad Medan. Leadership plays an important role and has a great responsibility, because it is the prime mover and also a motivator for the organization they lead. In the leadership system, it must have its own role in order to facilitate the pace of movement of its leadership and also to facilitate the achievement of the vision and mission of the leadership. Leadership will be said to be successful if the rate of leadership is directed according to the initial goals of the organization. So these two things between leadership and education are important and interesting things for us to discuss thoroughly, so that we can also have attitudes and knowledge like a leader, especially in the world of education. Abstract

Verbal and nonverbal communication skills play a crucial role in the learning process. This article aims to discuss the theories and practices of verbal and nonverbal communication skills in learning, identifying effective strategies for developing these skills. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that verbal and nonverbal communication skills enhance learning motivation, improve teacher-student relationships, and boost academic achievement. Practical strategies for developing these skills include role-playing, group discussions, and visual media utilization. This research contributes to the development of effective learning theories and practices.ABSTRAKKeterampilan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal memainkan peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas teori dan praktik keterampilan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal dalam pembelajaran, serta mengidentifikasi strategi efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut. Penulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperbaiki hubungan guru-siswa, dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa strategi praktis untuk mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal, seperti latihan role-playing, diskusi kelompok, dan penggunaan media visual. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan teori dan praktik pembelajaran yang efektif.

In this opportunity, the researcher will discuss leadership in the integrated Islamic school education institution. In the Islamic education institution at Mts Al Jihad Medan, leadership plays an important role and has a great responsibility as the main driver and motivator for the organization it leads. In its leadership system, it must have its own role to facilitate the movement of leadership and also to facilitate the achievement of the leadership's vision and mission. Leadership will be considered successful if its leadership is directed according to the initial goals of the organization. So, both leadership and education are important and interesting things to discuss comprehensively, so that we can also have the attitude and knowledge of a leader, especially in the world of education.
