Abstract

This research is to determine how much storage capacity in the File Allocation Table 16 (FAT16), File Allocation Table 32 (FAT 32) and New Technology File System (NTFS), the use of the hard drive is currently the of the maximum capacity will not be able to use when not using the appropriate partition, because it can affect the amount of storage capacity available after the hard disk in the partition. This type of research is reviewed based on its purpose of use, so the research to be conducted is applied research because the products of this research can be used by all computer users. Ultimately, the findings from this study will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of how file system selection and partitioning can influence the actual storage capacity of hard drives, thus informing best practices for maximizing available storage space. Abstract

Sesuai dengan estimasi life time OLTC transformator, didapatkan life time sekitar 80 bulan 25 hari (6 tahun, 6 bulan, 25 hari). ABSTRACT It is necessary to pay attention to the supply of electrical energy with guaranteed continuity of energy distribution, and good voltage quality in accordance with the needs of the industrial world. Voltage regulation (voltage regulator) absolutely needs to be done because of the influence of the input voltage from PLN as a provider of fluctuating electrical energy, and the influence of changing load changes on the consumer side. The existence of the above factors, voltage adjustment by changing the coil comparison tap with OLTC (On Load Tap Changer) equipment. The method used is by analyzing changes in load patterns, fluctuations in input voltage, and overall maintenance of power transformers. In accordance with the estimated life time of the transformer OLTC, the obtained life time is around 80 months and 25 days (6 years, 6 months, 25 days). And after the 80 months and 25 days have passed, the transformer and the on load tap changer device should be thoroughly serviced. When compared with manual tap changer operations, it can save up to 4 times the displacement of the tap changer in 1 hour or about 34560 times the displacement of the tap in 1 year and an improvement of 57.14% is obtained.

Abstract

Smallholder goat farmers in Jabung Village, Malang Regency, face significant challenges related to manual milking, including prolonged labor time and limited access to appropriate technologies. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a portable, battery-powered milking device in enhancing labor efficiency, technical knowledge, and economic outcomes for these farmers. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the research involved 50 farmers through a baseline survey, co-design process, a six-hour training session, and follow-up evaluation. The results showed that the device reduced the average milking time for five goats from 64 ± 4 minutes to 55 ± 3 minutes, indicating a 14% improvement. Farmers’ technical knowledge also increased significantly, from 42% to 85% after training. User satisfaction was high, averaging 4.2 out of 5, with women reporting greater ergonomic benefits. Economically, the device demonstrated an eight-month payback period based on a milk price of 12,000 Indonesian Rupiah per liter. Furthermore, 80% of farmers were able to operate the device independently after training. These findings suggest that the device holds strong potential to improve smallholder productivity and resilience, contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2 and 7. However, limitations include the small sample size and the absence of data on milk quality, indicating the need for broader, long-term research.

Abstract

Transformers have key role in converting voltage level to suit several applications, ranging from industries to residential areas. As part of the local content product production initiated by the government, it is essential to identify the material quality to yield good performance. Therefore, developing a well-designed core material is substantial to prevent excessive transformers core losses during operation. The core losses performance due to the annealing process of the silicon steel core is presented in this research. The E-I core shape is chosen to imitate the existing distribution transformers. The design aims for the optimal core losses of the EI transformers. The design process involves the selection of the iron core and calculating the number of coil turns on the primary and secondary sides. Based on experimental results, under the same number of winding turns, no significant change in transformers impedance due to the annealing process duration. Testing with a nichrome wire load shows that Transformers 1, with a flux density of 1, achieves efficiency and voltage regulation close to 100%. The second test with the addition of a rectifier indicates a decrease in efficiency and regulation, with Transformers 3 and a flux density of 1,6 providing the best results. The research findings show that a smaller flux density in transformer results in better efficiency and regulation for AC output, while a larger flux density supports better efficiency and voltage regulation for DC output. These findings can serve as a guide in designing EI Transformers for optimal battery charging systems.
