Abstract

This community service program aims to empower elderly women in Kapas Village, Kapas District and Pohbogo Village, Balen District, Bojonegoro Regency through the Sekolah Lansia Berdaya activity. This activity was attended by 52 elderly participants (26 people from each village) and carried the theme "Happy Life in the Perspective of Islam". The main focus of the program is to increase the spiritual understanding of the elderly regarding the meaning of a happy life according to Islamic teachings, increase awareness of the importance of maintaining physical health, and strengthen the social role of the elderly in their surroundings. The method used is the Action Research method through a participatory action program approach. The results of the activity showed an increase in the spiritual aspect of the elderly, marked by a high spirit of worship and an attitude of gratitude. In addition, there was an increase in healthy living habits. The elderly also showed better self-confidence in interacting socially and participating in community activities. This activity succeeded in building awareness of the importance of a healthy and happy life based on Islamic values. This program successfully raised awareness about the importance of living a healthy and happy life in old age, based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Lembaga Pengembangan Pesantren Muhammadiyah (LP2M) telah menerbitkan buku bahan ajar berbahasa Arab yang diperuntukkan kepasa pondok pesantren Muhammadiyah. Dalam pelaksanaannya, buku tersebut dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Arab santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan buku berbahasa arab dala meningkatkan maharah kalam santri PP MBS Al Amin Bojonegoro. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif sehingga pemanfaatan buku Ajar tersebut dapat diteliti lebih rinci mulai dari kelemahan hingga kelebihannya masing-masing, hingga dampaknya terhadap kemampuan santri. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sebagai hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku ajar bahasa Arab cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan maharah kalam santri PP MBS Al Amin Bojonegoro yang sebagian besar dapat mengikuti dan memahami materi. Adapun kendala yang dihadapai adalah tulisan berbahasa Arab belum bersyakkal/berharakat, kurangnya kompetensi ustadz bidang bahasa Arab, kurangnya alokasi waktu dalam pembelajaran, dan rendahnya kompetensi santri dalam pemahaman bahasa Arab

Abstract

Modernization in world missionize and education of Islamic contemporary, do not only altering bases of sosio-kultural and knowledge of eye santri, but also induce at Islamic people as a whole. Equally culture of pesantren always experience of change process as according to its supporter society dynamics. Therefore big changes done/conducted by kyai to institutes of pesantren these days is not represent crosslegged alternative choice of road;street, but represent natural by life values accumulation of pesantren as long as history, without leaving ruh (typical tradition) of him. Maisonette of Pesantren in inculcating soul/ head pentameter need open also flexible and to demand and growth of world, but remain to provide filter so that his fade-proof elementary value (Islam teaching). In meaning, maisonette of pesantren do not only external mentransformasi of just him (target, curriculum, method, management system and management of pesantren) but needing wisely depth mentransformasi also (maisonette soul/head values of pesantren). This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research approach used is a philosophical, psychological, and pedagogical approach. The data sources of this study consisted of Kyai or Director, Principals, students, boarding supervisors, teachers/teachers and students/students. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. This study aims to determine how the Impact of Education System Transformation on the Planting of the Five Souls of Islamic Boarding Schools to Santri in PP MBS Al Amin Bojonegoro.

Abstract

: Religious moderation is very much needed in the life of today's nation. Along with the emergence of extreme religious beliefs that have threatened harmony in social life so that it can lead to the notion of radicalism and intolerance between religious communities which leads to the division of the unity of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to describe the implementation of religious moderation in preventing radicalism and intolerance in the Kampung Kristen of Leran Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach and developed with an inductive method in order to understand the social situation in depth and find a pattern of relationships between findings in the field, then formulate hypotheses and draw conclusions. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data are also obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from field research. And secondary data is data obtained by researchers indirectly through data from documentation or other results. The results of this study indicate that the community of Kampung Kristen has implemented several principles of Religious Moderation which include; tawasut (taking the middle way), tawazun (balance), tasamuh (tolerant), Musawah (egalitarian), shura (deliberation), and tathawwur wa ibtikar (dynamic and innovative). This is shown by the existence of RT deliberations, village deliberations, village community service, attending tahlil, and attending activities carried out by Christians when invited, there is an agreement between the three religious sects, mutual awareness, mutual respect, being kind, keeping existing problems. In the community so that other people don't know. This is what makes Christian Villages able to prevent radicalism and intolerance so that life becomes safe, peaceful and serene.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic boarding school managers or educators in instilling the values of religious moderation in students in the Islamic boarding school environment, the obstacles in instilling the values of religious moderation, and the efforts made by Islamic boarding schools to overcome these obstacles. The objects of this research are SMP MBS Al-Amin Bojonegoro.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data source is primary data sourced from kiai, coaches, teachers and students. Meanwhile, secondary data is taken from documents related to the research.The results of this research are 1) Instilling the values of religious moderation is implemented through strategies, namely; first, the madrassy/formal class method, in the form of classroom education that follows the national education system. Second, the halaqah method. The halaqah recitation is delivered by the kiai/ustadz after every sunset and dawn at the mosque by studying the yellow book. Third, extracurricular arts activities which will be presented at the end of the year. Fourth, hidden curriculum, namely everything that influences students related to positive behavior. 2) Obstacles in instilling the values of religious moderation among others; limited time, low student enthusiasm in activities, and students' lack of understanding of the importance of religious moderation. 3) Efforts made by Islamic boarding schools to overcome obstacles include specifically scheduling religious moderation lessons, requiring the participation of students in activities, and presenting applicable activities about the importance of the values of religious moderation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pola pengembangan kurikulum berkarakter di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Al Amin Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif analitis dengan variasi studi kasus. Yaitu secara jelas menggambarkan pola pengembangan kurikulum dalam Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Al Amin Bojonegoro. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah adalanya pola pengembangan kurikulum yang dilaksanakan adalah pengembangan model kurikulum terpadu (integrated curriculum) dengan kombinasi kurikulum nasional, kurikulum Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menegah (Dikdasmen) Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur dan Kurikulum Pesantren Muhammadiyah Pusat yaitu Lembaga Pengembagan Pesantren Muhammadiyah (LP2M). Kurikulum tersebut ditekankan pada pembinaan karakter peserta didik. Penerapan kurikulum berkarakter dilaksanakan melalui pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, kedisiplinan, pembiasaan atau melalui manajemen pesantren, semua aspek tersebut diintegrasikan agar mendapatkan hasil dalam internalisasi karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

Thesis writing is a difficult procedure that requires critical thinking skills. Thus, one of the challenges that many students face while writing a thesis is the development of critical thinking skills during the writing process. The purpose of this study is to investigate the challenges and strategies that graduate students at Universitas Jambi face while trying to develop their critical thinking skills when writing theses. The researchers used case study method since the issue that were analyzing at was one particular case at Universitas Jambi's Master of English Education. To acquire the data, the researcher used interviews methods. The findings revealed that there were several challenges faced by the students in utilizing critical thinking when writing thesis. Those challenges include personal competence, linguistic, and psychological factors. In addition, the students employ some strategies to cope with the challenges arised in applying critical thinking skills when writing thesis. It includes time-management, technological support, reading and sources evaluation, and support system.
