Abstract

The people of the Adat Village of Angantiga in the District of Petang, Badung Regency, have different backgrounds consisting of ethnic Balinese who are Hindus and ethnic Bugis who are Muslim; keep trying to fight for ethnicity and identity of each culture while still maintaining and building social relations, tolerance and appreciative attitude. Based on these facts, researchers are interested in describing the process of forming multicultural communities, revealing the social interactions of multicultural communities, and revealing the social solidarity of multicultural communities in the Adat Village of Angantiga, Petang District, Badung Regency. The theories used to dissect the problems are migration theory, the theory of symbolic interaction and the theory of social solidarity. In determining the informants used snawballing sampling techniques, the necessary information is obtained through non-participation observation, in-depth interviews, and document recording, then analyzed using interpretive descriptive methods'            The findings obtained through the research showed that multicultural communities in the Adat Village of Angantiga, Petang Subdistrict, Badung Regency were formed beginning with the migration process of ethnic Bugis who were Muslim, came and settled in the area and were able to adapt to Balinese ethnic traditions and culture. In the process of social interaction, the Balinese language is the main communication tool in daily interaction between indigenous villagers, while Indonesian is used in special occasions. Social solidarity formed in multicultural communities in the Adat Village of Angantiga, Petang Subdistrict, Badung Regency, because of differences in background, but these differences make them more solid, this condition occurs because of the awareness of the sense of equality as villagers, equality in life in the form of mutual cooperation , and they are physically involved in various joint activities and have the same responsibilities. The joint ties built by the Indigenous Village Community of Angatiga are categorized as mechanical solidarity.

Abstract

In general, the community maintains the placenta after the mother gives birth to the baby in the front door of the house, Namu to the Pekraman Trunyan traditional village community after the mother gives birth to the baby, Ari-ari (Placenta) is hung on a wooden tree branch in one of the Tantanbuni places .         The theory used to dissect the problem The unique tradition of hanging Ari-ari (placenta) is the Sociological Theory of Herbert Spencer with the functional Structural Theory and the Principle Theory of Religion by Kuentjaraningrat. Data were collected by observation, interview and document documents.         Based on the results of the study revealed that, the background factors in the beliefs and beliefs of the people of Trunyan Village were received from their ancestors since the descent "Ida Ratu Puserin Jagat" to Earth, Not permitted to pollute the earth (Trunyan Village Land) with the intention of maintaining the sanctity of the earth or land of Trunyan Village. As for the process of maintaining the Arienta (Placenta) after the mother gives birth to one of the places of Tantanbuni, after the placenta is inserted into the coconut shell which is halved by filling the equipment inside and then closed and hung on a wooden tree branch in Tantanbuni. The meaning contained in announcing and begging for the face of "Sang Hyang Akasa" (God of Heaven) Receiving and approving at the same time giving protection and safety to the Baby.

Abstract

Bali Island is one of the islands in Indonesia which has a variety of natural beauty and historical heritage that is very real and can still be found today. Gianyar Regency is one of the areas where there are various historical heritage sites and has been recognized by the Bali Provincial Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency. The number of relics that can be found is inseparable from the location of the area which is near the river channel area (DAS), namely the Pekerisan and Petanu watersheds. In prehistoric times, this area was believed to have been used to establish a kingdom as his territory and also to become a hermitage area. With the discovery of relics around the watershed area, this will encourage the development and empowerment of historical remains which in the future can be used as historical tourist destinations. One of them is the Measurement Temple which is on the west side of the Pakerisan river. In community service activities by History Education students using qualitative methods based on literature, observation and interviews. Through the triangulation method in this study will be able to reveal the purpose of this study

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya akan budaya dan tradisi yang beragam. Setiap budaya dan tradisi memiliki makna dan tujuan tersendiri. Salah satu tradisi di Nusantara yang memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter adalah tradisi Logu Senhor, yang berlokasi di Desa Sikka, Kecamatan Lela, Kabupaten Sikka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi tentang (1) Latar Belakang tradisi Logu Senhor; (2) Proses pelaksanaan tradisi Logu Senhor; dan (3) Nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam tradisi Logu Senhor.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Para informan penelitian meliputi pelaku tradisi Logu Senhor, tokoh adat, dan ahli terkait. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik resepsi, komparasi, dan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Logu Senhor memiliki berbagai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat dijadikan sebagai contoh dalam membentuk karakter bangsa. Beberapa nilai tersebut antara lain (1) Religius, (2) Jujur dan Amanah, (3) Toleransi, (4) Kerja keras, (5) Komunikatif,

Abstract

Upacara manusa yadnya yaitu yadnya yang dilaksanakan kepada sesama manusia, yang diwujudkan dalam berbagai jenis dan bentuk upacara. Upacara Tiga bulan di ini dilakukan ketika bayi berumur 105 hari dari kelahiran atau tiga bulan. Rumusan masalah sebagai berikut : 1. Bagaimanakah latarbelakang pelaksanaan Upacara manusa yadnya tiga bulan, 2. Bagaimana proses pelaksaan Upcara manusa yadnya tiga bulan, 3. Apakah makna dan tujua uapacara manusa yadnya tiga bulan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui teori sistim Relegi, teori Ketahanan Kebudayaan dan teori Fungsionalisme struktural. Cara penententuan Imforman menggunakan metode purposiv sampling. Hasil penelitian yaitu merupakan latar belakang melaksanakan upacara manusa yadnya tiga bulan, proses uapacara nya dan makna serta tujuan uapacara. Sebagai pelasana atau mengantarkan upacara adalah orang suci Pemngku atau Sulinggih dengan diawali proses turun tanah lalu dilanjutkan upacara otonan. Memiliki makna untuk meningkatkan kesucian dari segala kekotoran baik jiwa maupun raga sibayi dengan tujuan dapat hidup sejahtra jasmani dan rohani setelah lahir di buana agung ( bumi /alam semesta ). Hasil penelitian dapat di katakan seiap orang Hindu yang mempunyai bayi umur 105 hari sudah harus melasanakan upacar tiga bulan ( nyambutin ) dengan tujuan dan makna agar si bayi dapat bersih kotoran dan godaan yang dibawa sejak lahir, sehingga dapat hidup nyaman dan sejahtra melalui doa doa pelaksanaan upacara tiga bulan ( nyambutin tersebut ).
