Abstract

Domestic violence is one of the national and even international problems that have not yet been dealt with until now. Based on reports from related institutions, in Indonesia, cases of domestic violence, especially against women, continue to increase from year to year. Many studies and views have emerged about the causes of the increase in violence. Some views consider that one of the causes of violence is because of religious legitimacy in which there are verses of the Qur'an that support violence against women. This study examines the content of the meaning of the verse and the argument of the compatibility of Islam with the movement to eliminate domestic violence. Regarding to the focus of the study, the research found: First, the interpretation of the word 'wad}ribu>hunna' in al-Nisa/4:34 is not interpreted as an order to beat a wife if she disobeys but is just a permissibility. Nor is it allowed to hit absolutely but is limited by strict conditions. Second, there are many arguments from the Qur'an that support the elimination of various forms of domestic violence which are reinforced by the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. This proves that Islam is in line with the legislation on the elimination of domestic violence at national and international levels.

Abstract

Abstract[English]:This article discusses the value of Tawakkal in the Qur'an and is written using the thematic interpretation method. In his analysis, the author first determines the topic, then looks for verses related to the topic and continues by reviewing the collected verses. The Qur'an mentions many verses related to the commandment to believe in Allah and surrender all results after earnest effort. The term tawakkal is mentioned 68 times in the Qur'an in 60 verses and in 20 different suras. From the whole verse, it is revealed that the word tawakkal contains five values, namely the first is piety to Allah after an important decision, the second is steadfastness towards the enemy, the third is tawakkal supports peace, the fourth is trustworthiness, and the fifth is the promise of goodness. God to those who believe in Him.Abstrak[Indonesia]:Artikel ini membahas tentang nilai Tawakkal dalam Al-Qur'an dan ditulis dengan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik. Dalam analisisnya, penulis terlebih dahulu menentukan topik, setelah itu mencari ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan topik dan dilanjutkan dengan mengulas ayat-ayat yang terkumpul. Al-Qur'an menyebutkan banyak ayat yang berkaitan dengan perintah untuk percaya kepada Allah dan menyerahkan semua hasil setelah usaha yang sungguh-sungguh. Istilah tawakal disebutkan 68 kali dalam Alquran dalam 60 ayat dan dalam 20 surah yang berbeda. Dari keseluruhan ayat tersebut terungkap bahwa kata tawakal mengandung lima nilai, yaitu pertama ketakwaan kepada Allah setelah keputusan penting, kedua tawakkal adalah ketabahan terhadap musuh, ketiga tawakkal mendukung perdamaian, keempat amanah, kelima ada janji kebaikan. Allah kepada orang-orang yang percaya kepada-Nya.

Abstract

The environmental crisis, which is increasingly complex and has become a global problem, must immediately find a way out, including by starting to think about the relationship between humans and the environment from the perspective of Islam. The study of interpretation is an effort to explore the insight of the al-quran related to the environment, which contains warnings about environmental damage and the importance of preserving the environment. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive approach. as for the literature review with data sources used such as books, journals, articles and various relevant sources on ecology. As in Islam, humans are God's representatives on earth, so in utilizing natural resources there are instructions to always maintain their balance and prosper them. For this reason, Muslims in understanding the message of the Koran are woven with an environmental ethic or ecological awareness that is inherent as a religious practice.
