Abstract

The social condition of the Arabs before Islam was known as the 'period of ignorance' or the age of ignorance, caused by social, political, morality and social relations in real conditions of error. To understand the jahiliyyah habits of the Arabs, the all-wise God sent an Apostle, Muhammad SAW. polite, humble, generous, brave, honest and trustworthy, they believe in "al-amiin". Arab education at the beginning of Islamic education was not well organized. However, education developed and they had at that time divided into three fields of knowledge. First, the knowledge of the nasab (history), history, and the influence of religion. Second, Ru'ya (dream) knowledge. Third, knowledge about reflection, the knowledge which according to Imam Gazali is a despicable science. While the science of poetry is the knowledge that is only controlled by people who are approved, and it is a sign of anxiety from the Arab community at that time.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to investigate students' perceptions of digital-based learning after the Covid-19 pandemic, and to explore students' challenges in digital-based learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research focuses on natural phenomena or events. The research subjects were students of the PAI study program of IAIN Sorong West Papua. The research procedure carried out in this research was collecting data in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, the data analysis used consists of 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that digital-based learning gets a positive response from students. This learning makes it easier and faster for students to understand and master the material. This learning also increases student productivity and motivation in studying. This learning is also easy, effective and flexible to use and provides benefits in learning. The challenges of this learning are related to network availability and internet data packages, time limitations, network disruptions and wasteful data usage.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis digital pasca pandemi covid-19, dan ntuk mengeksplor tantangan Mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis digital pasca pandemi covid-19. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif fokus terhadap fenomena atau peristiwa secara alami. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi PAI IAIN Sorong Papua Barat. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengumpulkan data dalam bentuk observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data, presentasi data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis digital mendapatkan respon positif dari mahasiswa. Pembelajaran ini memberi kemudahan dan kecepatan terhadap mahasiswa dalam memahami dan menguasai materi. Pembelajaran ini juga meningkatkan produktivitas dan motivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar. Pembelajaran ini juga mudah, efektif dan fleksibel digunakan dan memberikan manfaat dalam pembelajaran. Tantangan dari pembelajaran ini berkaitan dengan ketersediaan jaringan dan paket data internet, keterbatasan waktu, gangguan jaringan dan pemakaian data yang boros.

Abstract

In the province of West Papua, there are four districts that are the main focus in improving literacy skills. One of them is Raja Ampat district which is in the 4th position for low literacy rates with a population distribution in the Regency with a population distribution in Raja Ampat district spread across 24 Districts/Sub-districts with 6 Districts having a density above 45.80 people/km2. In this study, the researcher focused on one of the areas in the South Misool district, namely Dabatan village. Dabatan village is one of the villages located on the coast in the South Misool district, Raja Ampat district, West Papua province. Interactive literacy learning for elementary school children to instill early foundations is very necessary because it will improve the various competencies that children must have. The learning process for elementary school children is very important so that in the process of implementing KKN-T, researchers launched a literacy class program in order to foster children's interest in reading, the application of which is not only in school but also outside school. Of the several existing methods, the learning while playing method is the method that most increases children's interest in reading. In this case, the method used is reading while singing using the letter garden and writing letters using the 4-line method. Literacy classes are held once a week, namely on Saturdays, the place is adjusted to the comfort of the students. The implementation method applied in this literacy class is the concept of playing while learning. This method was chosen by looking at the need to handle the lack of basic literacy skills. The participants involved in this activity were elementary school children of SD Negeri 23 Dabatan

Abstract

The teacher is one of the important factors in determining the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore, teachers are required to improve their role and competence. Competent teachers will be better able to create an effective learning environment and will be better able to manage their classes so that student learning outcomes are at an optimal level. Classroom management is a teacher's effort in creating good classroom environmental conditions with students acting according to their abilities, students can study in an orderly manner, student output is in accordance with the goals to be achieved with a social atmosphere that provides satisfaction, an atmosphere of discipline, intellectual development, emotional, attitude, and appreciation of students so that learning objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. Classroom learning and management are two things that are carried out simultaneously in the learning process in class and have a very close relationship. Learning includes all activities carried out to achieve learning objectives, and classroom management includes activities that create and maintain optimal conditions for the learning process to occur.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of addiction to TikTok and online games on the understanding of Islamic Religious Education among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sorong City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and guidance counselors, as well as classroom observations. The findings reveal that excessive use of TikTok and online games significantly reduces students’ concentration, time management skills, and ability to comprehend and internalize Islamic values. Students often show procrastination, decreased discipline, and lower motivation in learning PAI. These behaviors not only affect their academic performance but also their religious attitudes. The study suggests implementing digital literacy education, strict regulations on gadget usage, and active collaboration between schools and parents to minimize negative impacts while promoting responsible and balanced use of technology.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakter dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat. Kedua, Untuk mendeskripsiskan dan menganalisis factor pendukung dan penghambat Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakter dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat. Ketiga, Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dan sikap sosial pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja AmpatPenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model intraktif Miles Huberman dan Saldana dengan langkah-langkah: (1) pengumpulan data, (2) Kondensasi data, (3) penyajian data dan, (4) penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pembelajan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakteer dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat menjadi kunci pembentukan karakter siswa berakhlak mulia. Pembentukan karakter dan sikap sosial siswa melalui pendekatan integrative dan aplikatif. Nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral etika ditanamkan melalui keteladanan guru dan kegiatan keagamaan rutin. Sinergi antara guru, wali kelas, dan orang tua memperkuat internalisasi nilai di sekolah dan rumah. Evaluasi yang menyentuh aspek sikap dan perilaku mendorong siswa mengamalkan nilai secara nyata. 2). Faktor pendukung meliputi kreativitas pedagogik, integritas pribadi, budaya religius sekolah, dan dukungan orang tua. Kegiatan tadarus pagi, salat berjamaah, dan peringatan hari besar Islam menjadi sarana efektif pembinaan akhlak. Hambatan utama mencakup rendahnya minat belajar PAI, pengaruh negatif media sosial, penggunaan HP yang berlebihan, serta keterbatasan sarana dan waktu. 3) Dampak pada terbentuknya karakter religius, disiplin, sopan santun, tanggung jawab, empati, dan toleransi siswa. Nilai-nilai ini dibiasakan melalui praktik langsung, membentuk budaya sekolah yang religius dan kondusif, serta menghasilkan generasi beriman, berakhlak, dan siap berkontribusi di masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pembiasaan shalat Dzuhur berjamaah dalam membentuk kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMA GUPPI Salawati Kabupaten Sorong. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan shalat Dzuhur berjamaah di sekolah ini berjalan terstruktur dan berdampak positif pada pembentukan karakter siswa, terutama disiplin waktu, tanggung jawab, dan penghormatan kepada guru serta teman sebaya. Faktor pendukung kegiatan ini meliputi kebijakan sekolah, keteladanan kepala sekolah, peran guru PAI, fasilitas memadai, serta dukungan orang tua dan lingkungan keluarga. Sedangkan hambatan yang ditemui adalah rendahnya motivasi, rasa malas, serta kurangnya kesadaran sebagian siswa. Secara keseluruhan, pembiasaan shalat berjamaah terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan sekaligus membentuk karakter religius peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan peran interaksi sosial peserta didik dalam kegiatan mengaji di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Amanatul Um’mah di SMA GUPPI Salawati Kabupaten Sorong dalam membentuk karakter yang berakhlakul karimah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode etnografi melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Amanatul Um’mah terbentuk dalam tiga aspek utama, yaitu interaksi antar peserta didik, peserta didik dengan guru, serta peserta didik dengan lingkungan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an. Interaksi tersebut berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai religius, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan empati sosial. Selain itu, kegiatan mengaji juga menjadi sarana pembinaan karakter melalui keteladanan guru dan kebiasaan religius yang dilakukan bersama. Dengan demikian, Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Amanatul Um’mah berperan penting tidak hanya sebagai lembaga pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga sebagai pusat pembinaan sosial dan moral peserta didik.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of soft-skill strategies in teaching Akidah Akhlak at MAN Kota Sorong, driven by the issue of limited awareness between teachers and students. The research aims to explore how interpersonal, intrapersonal, and effective communication skills are embedded within the teaching process, the role of teachers as facilitators and learning managers, and the forms of evaluation and constructive feedback used. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved 14 participants—12 students (6 males and six females) selected from 300 eleventh-grade students based on character diversity and family background, and 2 Akidah Akhlak teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations and were then analysed thematically to reveal the lived experiences and meanings participants perceived. Findings indicate that most students recognized the partial integration of soft skills through thematic and cooperative learning; yet, several admitted that such practices were rarely emphasized or explicitly connected to moral instruction. Teachers reported limited mastery and consistency in applying soft-skill-based approaches due to curriculum rigidity and inadequate training. Despite these challenges, both teachers and students agreed that integrating soft skills—such as empathy, communication, and self-control—greatly enhances moral awareness and character formation. The study concludes that embedding soft skills into Akidah Akhlak instruction is essential for addressing pedagogical and behavioural challenges. It recommends systematic teacher training and technology-based learning designs to strengthen students’ moral competence and adaptive interpersonal behaviour.
