Abstract

Cooking oil is an essential commodity in everyday life in Indonesia, with palm oil consumption reaching 18.5 million tons in 2021, according to the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI). High levels of consumption can potentially increase the risk of health problems. To reduce oil consumption, slicing of food is required. However, this process is often done manually, which is less effective. Therefore, this study proposes the development of an automatic control device using the YF-S201 flow sensor, TCS3200 color sensor, and DS18B20 temperature sensor, which then processes the data using the fuzzy logic method. Data processing and monitoring are performed using ESP32, displaying results on the LCD and website. Data is stored in a MySQL database. The test was conducted on shrimp crackers weighing 0.5kg for 1 minute 25 seconds. This control device is hoped to help households, traders, and MSMEs as an effective and efficient solution. The characteristics of the three sensors, namely the TCS3200 colour sensor, flow sensor YF-S201, and temperature sensor DS18B20, it was found that the sensor had worked well as expected, with a maximum error percentage of 0.91%. In one of the tests to drain oil on oily crackers, the oil flow was detected to be 0.07 litres/minute of oil flowing out of the oil filter.

Abstract

Many parents in the Surabaya Chapter Forkesi Community (Indonesian Special Children's Parents Communication Forum) do not understand how to care for and teach children with autism, despite the fact that 50 percent of the members of this community are parents of children with autism. This service aims to assist parents in dealing with their autistic children on a daily basis. Furthermore, to address the issue of disadvantaged children with autism who are unable to participate in therapy or seek treatment from psychologists on a regular basis due to the high expense of doing so. The development of an augmented reality-based android mobile application using the marker method will include learning materials for build a match and WH questions, as well as games to help deepen learning, and will be used in conjunction with the ABA method and DTT technique. In May-July 2021, this service activity was carried out in the Surabaya Chapter Forkesi community. Data collecting, interactions with community members, and direct implementation were the strategies used in this service. According to the findings of the Usability Testing, which received a score of 54.6, parents of children with autism agree on the use of digital therapy via Android mobile app.

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknik OFDM mempunyai kelemahan, salah satunya adalah tingginya PAPR yang akan menyebabkan distorsi non-linear pada Power Amplifier (PA), dikarenakan PA membatasi keluaran dengan nilai tertentu yang dapat mengurangi efisiensi daya amplifier. Dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut maka diperlukan teknik reduksi PAPR. Untuk teknik reduksi PAPR efisien yang digunakan adalah Selective Mapping (SLM). Teknik Reduksi PAPR SLM sendiri tidak dapat untuk memperbaiki daerah non-linear pada Power Amplifier, oleh karena itu diterapkan teknik pemodelan HPA Predistorsi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dari PA dengan memperluas jangkauan linear dan mencegah sinyal jatuh ke wilayah saturasi PA. Untuk pemodelan HPA yang digunakan yaitu pemodelan Hammerstein. Model Hammerstein ini sederhana namun efektif untuk menggambarkan kinerja PA dan kinerja predistorter non-linear akan berlawanan dengan PA dengan menggunakan efek memori. Hasil kerja dari teknik gabungan tersebut dapat dianalisa berdasakan kurva BER dan kurva CCDF yang dihasilkan. Performansi BER dapat diperbaiki ketika menggunakan teknik reduksi SLM yang dikombinasikan dengan teknik predistorsi, dimana pada nilai SNR sebesar 15 dB sudah mampu mengatasi probabilitas BER. Namun, ketika tanpa teknik predistorsi baru bisa mengatasi probabilitas BER pada nilai SNR sebesar 22 dB. Untuk teknik reduksi SLM dan teknik predistorsi dengan subblok 16 mampu menghasilkan nilai lebih baik daripada saat menggunakan subblok 4 dan 8 yaitu dapat mencapai probabilitas BER hingga 10-6 dengan nilai SNR 14 dB, dan sudah dapat mengatasi probabilitas BER pada SNR 15 dB. Dengan teknik predistorsi ini mampu meningkatkan linearisasi pada PA. Sehingga dapat dibuktikan untuk dapat melewati HPA, sinyal dengan reduksi menggunakan subblok 4 sudah dapat melewati HPA yang mempunyai linearisasi tinggi.
