Abstract

This study investigates the correlation between emotional intelligence in Islamic teachings and the embodiment of morality as human behaviour. Carried out at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung, the research spanned from October 2023 to January 2024, utilizing a descriptive qualitative methodology. Islamic education teachers were the subjects. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation, with analysis employing reduction, presentation, and concluding. Validity was ensured through triangulation techniques and sources. Supportive factors encompassed collaborative efforts among school personnel, adequate facilities, extracurricular activities, and teacher competency. Conversely, hindering factors comprised students' disinterest in religious activities, insufficient parental support, restricted learning time, non-compliance with school rules, and academic pressure. The study's findings align with Daniel Goleman's emotional intelligence theory, positioning emotional intelligence as the bedrock for various other intellectual capacities. Abstract

This paper describes the construct of Islamic character education based on the local culture of the indigenous Lampung people. Four constructs of character education are presented in the Piil Pesenggiri, namely Nemui Nyimah which contains the character of a sense of acceptance, including; hospitality, hospitality, generosity, courtesy, mutual respect, respect, love for friendship, submission and submission to the Creator of the Universe and His creations. Nengah Nyappur contains adaptive character values ​​in interacting, including; willingness to open up, have a high tolerance, like to deliberate, have an attitude and sociable behavior, easy to get along with, familiar or friendly, and a sense of family. Sakai Sambaiyan contains high solidarity character values, including; mutual assistance, please help, work together, give each other something that is needed by the other party. Juluk Adok contains the spirit of achievement character values, including; persistent and hard working, likes to participate, has an honorary degree. In the context of education, Piil Pesenggiri becomes an inseparable part of the realization of the nation's character education. Piil Pesenggiri becomes a principle of self-esteem which is the culmination and reflection of the accumulation of noble and noble forms of activity amid society. In the context of geneology education in the character of Lampung indigenous people, Piil Pesenggiri can be a measure or dignity for someone amid their life activities. Substantially, Piil Pesenggiri in the context of character education becomes the "pillar of the teacher" that teaches the principles of consistency, acceptance, and equality. Abstract

This Research aims to describe the thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara on character education in the perspective of Islamic education. This Research is called library research. The data taken in this research consist of primary data and secondary data. The method of data processing uses the analytical descriptive method after the data is collected, classified, compared, interpreted, and finally given the conclusion. The conclusion is made using deductive and inductive patterns. The result of this research shows that character education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara is the guidance of character in the life of children growing. Character education can be formed through education, experience, life test, sacrifice, and environmental impact. Hereafter the internalized values become an intrinsic value underlying attitude and behavior then repeatedly until becomes a habit, and the habit is guided and maintained then be a character. The method of character education through among method namely momong, among and "ngemong" mean habituation, example, and teaching. Meanwhile, the steps are childhood, the development of souls and thoughts, and the formation of character or social awareness.

Abstract

Religious moderation referred to a middle-path principle that upheld balance, justice, and tolerance in religious life. This study aimed to describe the implementation of religious moderation values during the leadership of Caliph Ali ibn Abi Talib, who was known as a visionary leader in facing early Islamic social, political, and religious challenges. This research employed a qualitative approach with a library research design and content analysis of relevant primary, secondary, and tertiary sources. The findings revealed that values such as justice, equality, nonviolence, tolerance, life balance, and deliberation were strongly reflected in various aspects of Ali’s leadership, including legal practices, governance, social relations, state policy, and scholarly contributions in the field of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). Narratives such as the dispute over war armor with a Christian citizen, the fair resolution of a bread-sharing conflict, and a humanistic leadership approach illustrated Ali’s strong commitment to moderation. The implications suggested that Ali ibn Abi Talib’s exemplary leadership remained relevant as a character education model, particularly in strengthening religious moderation in contemporary Islamic education. This research provided a deep historical perspective and encouraged the integration of moderate values into contextual and reflective Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan memaparkan “Pendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi: Antara Konsepsi dan Aplikasi” yang diawali permasalahan fital mengapa pendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi niscaya dikaji secara konsepsi dan aplikasi?  dengan tujuan penelitian mengekspolasi keniscayaan pendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi dikaji secara Konsepsi dan Aplikasi. Sedangkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan kontribusi praktis. Dimana kontribusi teoritis dapat dijadikan paradigma baru bagi peneliti berikutnya untuk melakukanstudi tentangpendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi: Antara Konsepsi dan Aplikasi. Sementara kontribusi praktis, bahwa pendidikan Islam  sangat relevan dan representatif untuk direalisasikan secara konsepsi dan aplikasi di era globalisasi saat ini, dimana disiplin ilmu ini selalu muttakhir, aktual, berkembang serta update pada setiap era dan generasi.Selanjutnya, penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan cara menela’ah berbagai literatur terkait dengan “Pendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi: Antara Konsepsi dan Aplikasi”, secara prioritas literatur yang ditulis oleh para pakar pendidikan Islam klasik dan kontemporer. Sedangkan metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptifdananalisis. Sementara prosedur pengolahan data, digunakan Content Analysis. Mencermati paparan di atas, maka temuan penelitian yang diharapkan adalah “Desain Pendidikan Islam di Era Globalisasi”, dimulai dari desain tujuan pendidikan Islam, desain kurikulum pendidikan Islam,  dan desain lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Serve as a standard of quality and excellence, so that the main elements of quality in quality management is understood as a process of certainty that there has been a specific standard and continuously strived to achieve for a product or service is superior. Thus, if the quality applied in teaching refers to the level of learning compared to the standard. An activity-quality education provision is seen when higher education are able to provide the best learning opportunities.

Abstract

Background: Women infected with HIV/AIDS had a double burden, including health, economic, mental, and social problems, and access to health services. Self-acceptance of HIV/AIDS status has always been a problem when women are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, and companions are often needed to solve it. This study aimed to know the success of self-acceptance and companion strategies for women's acceptance of HIV/AIDS status. Method: The research is mixed-method with a sequential exploratory. Informants are companion’s HIV/AIDS in Bandar Lampung City. The qualitative phase of data collection with in-depth interviews with nine informants from 3 HIV/AIDS communities/networks was selected by purposive sampling. The quantitative phase used an online questionnaire to women living with HIV/AIDS who live in Bandar Lampung City and are a support group from 3 HIV/AIDS communities/networks, obtaining 27 people during two weeks of data collection. Qualitative analysis with content analysis and quantitative analysis with univariate analysis. This research was conducted for eight months (January – September 2021). Results: The results of the study where the success of acceptance of HIV/AIDS status in women in the excellent category was 25 (92.6%) where the companion used an empowerment strategy through the stages of collaboration, case finding, self-introduction, exploring problems, and self-potential, implementation of accompaniment and monitoring and evaluation by utilizing the media whats app group and methods of personal approach and peer support groups. Suggestions, so that the length of time for acceptance of HIV/AIDS status is faster, the companion needs to get self-acceptance therapy training for women living with HIV/AIDS to empower women.
