Abstract

Cases of sexual violence in Indonesia based on the Annual Records of Komnas Perempuan are still quite high. One form of sexual violence is rape. The act of rape can be proven from the results of a physical examination to look for evidence in the form of violence and sexual intercourse. In addition to physical examination, mental health examination is also carried out to see the impact of the incident experienced by the victim. This study aims to find out what are the findings on physical and mental examinations of female victims of sexual crimes. This study used a descriptive method with a cross-sectional research design and used total sampling techniques as a sampling technique. The results of this study from 50 victims found that the age group that experienced the most sexual crimes was late adolescence (34.00%). The findings in victims were dominated by only signs of sexual intercourse (48.00%). The location of the injuries experienced by the most victims was found to be in the genital area only, which was as much as (52.00%) with the most types of genital injuries being lacerations (54.00%). The most mental disorders experienced by victims are in the form of only depression (4.00%). Only (16.00%) victims found their court decision data at the Denpasar District Court. It can be concluded from this study that the findings of penetration marks in the form of injuries to the victim's genitals alone dominate, namely as many as (70.00%), only (4.00%) victims who have penetration marks accompanied by ejaculatory marks. The genital injuries suffered by the victims (54.00%) were lacerations. Mental disorders found in victims in the form of depression as much as (4.00%), while victims without findings of mental disorders as much as (86.00%).

Abstract

The aim of research is to know the effectiveness of Number Head Together (NHT) in Teaching Reading Comprehension at tenth grade students of MAN 4 Kediri. Quantitative post-test only control group design used the approach to design this research. The subject of the research is tenth grade student of MAN 4 Kediri. The subject were X MIA 1 class as experimental class which consist of 36 students and X MIA 2 class as control class which consist of 36 students. To get data, the researcher use test. The data analyzed by using t- test can be found with SPSS 16.0. The mean score of students’ reading comprehension in experimental class belongs to very good category. Its score 83.19. Meanwhile, the mean score in control class belongs to good category with mean score 77.22. The result of statistical computation value of the independent sample t-test is 3.050 with t table within degree of freedom (df) 70 at 5% significant level is 2.647. It can be seen that t-statistic value is higher than t-table. Because there is significant increase in student’s reading comprehension after doing treatment, it can be said that number head together in reading comprehension of the tenth grade students of MAN 4 Kediri in academic year 2018/2019 is effective. So the alternative hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

The research is the effectiveness of TAI method and crossword puzzle media in teaching writing recount text at tenth grade SMAN 1 Grogol. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using TAI and Crossword Puzzle methods as learning media in writing. This study uses quantitative methods in a quasi-experimental design. Sample classes at SMAN 1 Grogol are X-IIS 3 and X-IIS 4. There are 32 pupils each class. employing questionnaires, pre- and post-tests, and other data collection methods. Four students in both the experimental class and the control class met the criterion for success or earned the KKM score, according to the pre-test findings. Only 12.5% of people who take the pre-test succeed. And the post-test results revealed that 26 students in the experimental class were able to meet the success requirements, with a percentage of 81.25%. Only 12 students in the post-test class meet the success criteria, with a percentage of 37.5%. The value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 represents the outcome of the independent sample test. According to the survey's findings, the majority of students chose "yes" to each of the four questions. It may be concluded that the TAI technique and Crossword Puzzle medium are effective for training class X SMAN 1 Grogol students to write recount texts.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a phenomenon that occurred regarding the implementation of teaching English at the junior high school level during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri, which in the school the learning process had used the emergency teaching program, namely learning carried out online based on emergency curriculum guides. Descriptive qualitative methods are used in this research. Twenty resource persons were taken consisting of four English teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri, one curriculum representative and five students from grades seven to ninth. The data collection in this research was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation and using three instruments there are interview guides, observation checklists, and list of documentation. The results of this research are: 1) The implementation of English teaching using the emergency teaching program at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri consists of three stages, namely planning which includes making lesson plans, syllabus, learning media, semester programs and annual programs; 2) the obstacles in the implementation of teaching English using the emergency teaching program during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri are the delay of students in collecting assignments, the difficulty of students understanding the material being taught, lack of self-confidence, assumptions regarding the difficulty of learning English (internal factors) and namely the lack of parental support for children, not all students have smart phones, and limited funds to buy quotas (external factors). 3) How to overcome the obstacles in implementation of teaching English using the emergency teaching program during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 4 Kediri are providing cell phone assistance to underprivileged students, increasing discipline in collecting assignments, namely by giving sanctions if they are late in collecting assignments.
