Abstract

The family is the basic cell of society as the formation of religious values and culture to every human being on which different though, learning to live together with others and to belong to each other. The family also became the starting point for building a "repent ecologically" that will grow and develop change and renewal of the attitudes and actions of living environmentally in building integrity to live together. The husband and wife relationship is the most important relationship in the family. The quality of the relationship that's very influential contribution to family life. Although the husband and wife are generally good, both are nonetheless difficult to achieve happiness when their relationship with children is compromised. Then for the sake of their happiness, its full husband and wife need a good relationship with their children. As is the case in the relationship between husband and wife, the relationship between parents and children also contains some facet i.e. in terms in terms of feelings, thoughts, and in terms of the will or a will. The integrity of shared life understood as a harmonious relation between human to human, human to human creation and nature with God the creator. Wholeness of life includes humans and the environment. Environmental functions buffer fairy life are especially important. Therefore, management and development is directed to maintain its presence in the dynamic balance to be utilized for the welfare of most live together. Abstract

There is one value or philosophy of life in the Bugis tribe namely Siri’ (shame) or better known as Siri’ na pesse’. This Siri’ culture affects many joints of social life in south Sulawesi, even hierarchically has shaped the character and mentality of the people of south Sulawesi it self. As well as the marriage system that is very thick with siri' culture because marriage is considered the right moment for the whole family to show their dignity’s.  This is the case for the Bugis tribe in Bitung City who up hold siri’ values so that in this modern era Bugis indigenous communities there still strongly maintain the tradition of Panai Money 'which is one of the main conditions and is considered an ideal marriage in the Bugis tribe.  The initial form of Panai money 'as a form of appreciation to women, turned into an arena of social prestige that took the name of siri', the higher the social and level of stratification women have the higher the nominal value of their customary money.  In this case it can be said that Panai Money as part of the culture turned into a disaster and made people feel anxious. No wonder the marriage is canceled only because of the Panai' money which is less than what the bride asks because she remains adamant to the nominal she wants. If the request is not able to be fulfilled then the application process will be rejected, as a result the road taken by lovers who have loved one another is eloping (Silariang).  Keywords: marriage, tradition, panai’ money

Abstract

The development of an online shop or online store through internet media is well known in Indonesia, and even well known by the general public, including the people of Manado. The many conveniences in shopping and the various types of products and services offered have made Manado people make online shops as an alternative shopping. This has made many Online Shop sellers offer their products in various ways to attract consumers to buy, they take advantage of the current pandemic where many people choose to shop from home.Many people in the city of Manado prefer online shops as an alternative to shopping rather than shopping at stores, malls, or other shopping places. Apart from being due to covid-19, there are several other reasons such as being practical and not complicated, no need to dress up, no need to leave the house, and no need to face heat and traffic jams.The purpose of this research is to find out how online shop as an alternative shopping for the people of Manado City. This study took data and an explanation of the Online Shop as an alternative to shopping for the people of Manado city in general. Informants were taken from various groups. Abstract

One of the cultures that is still carried out and maintained by the Minahasa community is the celebration of thanksgiving. In the tradition of thanksgiving there is Tonaas Wangko which regulates at the beginning of the growing season so that the harvest can be done and also often held foso (ritual). Tonaas Wangko also manages the time/day of thanksgiving celebrations. In the past people made thanksgiving on the grounds of giving thanks for the crops they get and in the past they celebrated with its meaning because the crops are abundant or not abundant, it is still they make because otherwise held people believe it will experience crop failure. As the day of thanksgiving begins to be determined by the government and the church, so that in the celebration of thanksgiving no longer coincides with the harvest season and also foso (ritual) is no longer held. The celebration of thanksgiving to the people of Betelen Satu Village, has meaning as a momentum of gratitude to God from the various livelihoods they get. They also consider this thanksgiving celebration as a 'baku dapa' event or meeting with family from afar in order to gather and express each other's joys and sorrows together so as to strengthen the brotherhood, even as a 'baku kenal' event or get acquainted with the first known person during the thanksgiving celebration.Keywords: meaning, celebration, thanksgiving

Abstract

Marriage as one of the life-long stages of an individual's life in anthropology is often called stages along the life cycle or for example infancy, weaning, childhood, adolescence, puberty, post-marital periods, pregnancy, old age and so on. In times of transition, the time of the individual’s switches from one level of life to another, usually a feast or ceremony is celebrated during the transition.Marriage has social functions, such as when preparing for the implementation of the wedding procession, requiring the help of others to strengthen public relations through mutual assistance. Marriage can also unite two or more cultures. Because there is no prohibition in the implementation of different ethnic marriages, by the state.Loleba community is one of the communities that has various forms of culture, both dances, regional music, local languages, and traditional wedding activities. Tobelo traditional wedding ceremony and most of the culture is the result of the copyrighted work of their ancestors who come from Halmahera and is one of the traditions that have meanings that are very valuable for social life.The indigenous community of Tobelo tribe who have long settled and live in Loleba Village East Halmahera still maintain Mohoka tradition in their wedding culture. In this Mohoka tradition there are several values contained in it, which the value has a meaning that describes the daily life of the Tobelo people in Loleba Village East Halmahera, the values contained in the cultural activities and customary practices of Mohoka tradition, namely: religious values, cultural values, social values, personality values and the value of knowledge.Keywords: marriage, tradition, ceremony

Abstract

The development of the tourism sector in North Maluku continues to be carried out in line with increasingly open transportation access. This is in the background by its enchanting natural conditions and natural coupled with a wealth of cultures and customs that are very diverse. Waka Beach located at the end of Sulabesi Island with the beauty of white sand that stretches wide along the beach makes it have its own uniqueness that makes tourists want to linger while on Waka Beach. The natural atmosphere that is still awake is characterized by trees that are still shady adding to the coastal beauty of Waka Beach, the underwater nature also offers its own beauty for every visitor who wants to dive there are interesting diving and snorkeling spots to explore.Factors that influence visitors to visit this Waka Beach tour is, the first is the internal factor or driving factor that comes in visitors themselves, visitors who come because they want to relax after finishing busy with work.
