Abstract

Social media presence and the sophistication of information technologies are indeed often referred to as a symbol of the progress of human thinking. Without conscious media has brought logging to the new cultural patterns and begin to determine the mindset and behaviour in society. Surely media in social life is not simply a means of diversion, a tension reliever or entertainment, but the content and the information presented, has a significant role in the process of social change. Changes in the pattern of behavior is most noticeably is the aspect of lifestyle and this aspect is most visible in the environment of the young generation in particular Sam Ratulangi University students.This research used the qualitative method, a method of describing a phenomenon in accordance with the topics researched. Qualitative research or often called naturalistic research, i.e., the methods used to examine the conditions of natural objects (as his opponent is an experiment) where researchers is a key instrument.Felt the presence of the student lifestyle changes which often have wasted time and the increasing number of negative content are popping up in social media. Along with the development of the era, the use of the internet is getting sued. As a result it is now more and more social media types that are used by the student. For example, namely Facebook, Line, Path, Whatsapp and Instagram. It all goes back to a personal, how can one addressing the development of current media and know the positioning of the function of social media according to existing rules and conditions are primarily college students because the students had said when someone means already in top students, he should be able to tell which is a good thing to do and not do. Abstract

Transport used the society to facilitate daily activities. Everyone needs transportation in a variety of activities such as work, school, travel or other activities. Technological advances in the field of transportation, becoming the socio-cultural reality going on in the community, that the current internet is very influential to the citizens of the community in living the life the community. The rise of smartphone users, either the system android or iOS makes the community dependent on Smartphones and the internet. The opportunities for making business founder Taxi online (Go-Jek) is presenting an online-based. The phenomenon of online transportation currently being discussed, because warm-based booking applications are easily downloaded by users of smartphones good System android or iOS.The research method used was based on qualitative methods of study case as well as the collection of data is done with the techniques of observation, interview and documentation. The main source of data retrieved from the interview several students and drivers on the Unsrat campus environment. Results of the study showed that college students online taxi users greatly helped by using taxi online. Online taxi exploited students not only deliver them home leave, but also to order food and supplies for academic purposes with rates that are relatively inexpensive. This research is expected to contribute works of Ethnography about socio-cultural knowledge of students about the use of an online as well as can be a material input for Manado City Government in order to make the regulation of public transport based online, so as to advance the transportation services sector in the city of Manado.Keywords : transport, online, driver

Abstract

Indonesians since is always been familiar with mutual cooperation activity, because basically the consisted community of humans intercourse with different interests in a certain life to achieve common aims in the work. The value of the activity of groups namely solidarity mutual cooperation attitude of people consider important the joint activity, loyalty group to perform a certain work by common interests or to members of the population. While a norm in mutual cooperation embodied in rules to obey and wanted to be involved in it. Indonesia community has the mention of the term mutual cooperation different. The Java community known with the spirit of holo pis kuntul baris; to the Maluku community known as pela gandhong; to the Tapanuli community known term dalihan-nan-tolu. While in Minahasa known with the term Mapalus, in Bolaang Mongondow called with the term Pogogutat and in Gorontalo known with the term Ambu. Mutual cooperation known the community in Molibagu Village Bolaang Uki Subdistrict South Bolaang Mongondow Regencies as ti’ayo. Help one another or ti’ayo in social activities building a house has been there from the first and it was attached to the Molibagu community. Until now ti’ayo come on still attached in the Molibagu community life, due to the existence of ti’ayo has become a sense of identity activities related to the community in terms of social, cultural and religious. Abstract

Two-wheeled Vehicles (Ojek), is an informal means of transportation that is needed by the community of Bitung City Madidir subdistrict. The use of motorcycles, to reach places that are difficult to be traversed by four-wheeled vehicles (public transport). To bring people and goods based on agreement between the Users of transportation services (Ojek) and riders. Usually two-wheeled vehicle drivers (Ojek) work in groups and gather at certain points along with the drivers of other two-wheeled vehicles (Ojek). Usually a two-wheel rider called by the name Ojek base or discuss in general is a conventional ojek that is not bound by the company (Independent).Being a Ojek handyman is a choice taken by a number of people despite the income they earn low and unstable but this work they do as a major livelihood that can make money and hope the family economic needs are fulfilled.Economic problems occur in various sectors both formal and informal sectors. The informal sector is currently experiencing problems i.e. two-wheeled transportation or Ojek. The development of technology that facilitates the public to access the transportation services online that makes the base motorcycle taxi driver.In general they also do not have private home and land in the city of Bitung (just contracted, borrowing land, and cost), because most of the motorcycle taxi that is in the city of Bitung comes from villages in the district in North Sulawesi province. Keywords: transportation, informal, livelihood

Abstract

Kamoro people in Mimika regency of Papua Province have a customary custom in the aspect of marriage that is different from other ethnic groups. Kamoro people have myths that are believed to be the power of supernatural above humans. The myths are passed down through generations in oral form, from their ancestors. One of the most famous myths in the Kamoro is Uwao Nani (komodo). In addition, Kamoro believe that the environment also has supernatural powers, objects that are believed to have powers such as the statue of Mbitoro made of wood. Mbitoro is a spirit that is given shape in the form of a statue. Mbitoro engraved pictures of ancestral community leaders who have died. Traditional ceremonies performed by Kamoro people, have a certain meaning or value. Through the initiation rites of karapao in the lives of Kamoro, seen as a traditional social grouping, each individual begins to recognize his or her identity, i. e. into generations and as members of the local community. Through the initiation rites karapao each boy is ushered into social groups and deified in a number of areas of life, namely religion, socioeconomic, sexuality, health and politics, as well as the imposition by bringing back ancestors and mystical figures who have lived in the past. Abstract

The presence of PT Weda Bay Nickel (WBN) Company for The Central Halmahera Site in Tanjung Ulie Lelilef Village, Central Vedic District, has brought hope for the Mining Circle community, especially those in the Ring One category with the hope of absorbing the male and female labor.The opportunity for women to be accepted as mine employees is very welcome in the midst of a business field known to the general public as "the world of Adam". Women are also required to have professionalism and performance equal to men, without abandoning their nature, gentle, conscientious and also assertive. The lure of an established salary is a factor that makes many people want to work in this industry, including women. This does not mean that women are not able and do not want to work in the mines.The emergence of differences in the concept of gender between men and women is due to many things, among which are formed, socialized, strengthened, even constructed socially or culturally, as well as through religious teachings. The prowess of women mining workers can not only be seen in the work area alone. They are generally women who have husbands and children. Such status requires them to be able to double role, as workers as well as housewives. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with many cultures. The culture has been inherent in society and has been hereditary for a long time, will be more conceptualized in people's lives so that it becomes a belief in matters related to a belief that is difficult to eliminate. With the existence of community culture will be able to understand the religion contained in the empirical plains or religions that appear in the formal form that galvany in society, the development of culture cannot be released from religion. Because the two have a very close relationship between religions is part of the culture.The entry of Islam in Tutumaloleo Village has an impact on cultures that have existed since time immemorial, giving rise to various cultural dynamics. In addition to the entry of Islam there are several factors that contribute to the occurrence of cultural dynamics in the village of Tutumaloleo, these factors come from within the community, outside the community, and environmental factors.The acculturation between local culture and Muslims in Tutumaloleo Village still has a good impact. Abstract

One of the cultures that is still carried out and maintained by the Minahasa community is the celebration of thanksgiving. In the tradition of thanksgiving there is Tonaas Wangko which regulates at the beginning of the growing season so that the harvest can be done and also often held foso (ritual). Tonaas Wangko also manages the time/day of thanksgiving celebrations. In the past people made thanksgiving on the grounds of giving thanks for the crops they get and in the past they celebrated with its meaning because the crops are abundant or not abundant, it is still they make because otherwise held people believe it will experience crop failure. As the day of thanksgiving begins to be determined by the government and the church, so that in the celebration of thanksgiving no longer coincides with the harvest season and also foso (ritual) is no longer held. The celebration of thanksgiving to the people of Betelen Satu Village, has meaning as a momentum of gratitude to God from the various livelihoods they get. With so many is various so that culture in Indonesia grown very much in various regions, because basically culture is important will benefits and could be identity or specific characteristic which distinguish a territory culture. One of culture who still stay there until now is traditional house. Housing is its importance as dwellings activity vernacular by family.This research using the methodology that are descriptive qualitative the aims to describe exactly the properties of a individual, the state of, a symptom or frequency certain the connection between symptoms and symptom of other in society.Meaning that is implied in suggests an idea traditional house creative culture with a characteristic as also in Minahasa traditional house we all know about that the traditional home is the imprint of our ancient ancestors were. The creativity of the Minahasa community made the house customary is a commodity that can produce income especially potters in Woloan Village Tomohon Barat District Tomohon City. Often see an order from outside the area foreign until, with size on demand consumer but does not standard change Minahasa traditional house. The abundance of existing natural resources can increase economic growth when the resources can be managed properly in accordance with what is most in demand by the community so that the utilization of natural resources will not spend time or material due to the failure to manage a resource. Tourism is one of the utilization of natural resources that can be of high economic value for an area that manages natural resources into a tourist attraction that can attract visitors both from within and outside the country, in addition to high economic value, tourism can grow and increase the sense of pride in the nation so that it will grow people who care more about a nation.North Maluku Province has a lot of potential and natural resources that can be developed as a tourist attraction. East Halmahera regency is one of the districts has a potential natural resources for the development of tourism industry. Tourism in Gotowasi Village is one of the village icons that is currently being vigorously promoted by the Tourism and Culture Office of East Halmahera Regency.Community as the main component in the development of community-based tourism has an important role in supporting the development of tourism aimed at developing local potentials sourced from nature, socio-cultural or economic communities.
