Abstract

Brown algae can be functioned as the feedstock on the alginate and fucoidan's sequential extraction biorefinery process. This research aims to obtain the condition of the alkaline treatment process, which provides maximum response towards intrinsic viscosity of Sargassum cristaefolium alginate on the integrated alginate and fucoidan extraction biorefinery process. Factorial Experiment Design of 2k is used to understand the effect of temperature, time, and the concentration of Na2CO3 towards the response of alginate's intrinsic viscosity and determine the correct equation model on the first order of experiment. The research indicated that the different parameters of temperature, time, and Na2CO3 extraction process are tangibly influenced the increasing response of the alginate's intrinsic viscosity, which later reduced after reached its maximum point. The highest alginate intrinsic viscosity of 397.32 ml/g happened during the parameters of the temperature of 60oC, time of 120 minutes, and Na2CO3 concentration of 3%. Therefore, the extraction central point design of 60oC temperature, 120 minutes of duration, and 3% concentration of Na2CO3 is considered correct, and the first-order polynomial experiment model is shaped in the quadratic form.

Abstract

Tahap utama dalam proses ekstraksi alginat dari alga coklat adalah pre-ekstraksi dengan perlakuan asam. Kondisi pre-ekstraksi perlakuan asam (suhu, waktu dan pH) berpengaruh terhadap sifat fisika-kimia alginatdari alga coklat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pre-ekstraksi perlakuan asam (suhu, waktu dan pH) terhadap viskositas intrinsik alginat dan menentukan kondisi pre-ekstraksi yang memberikan  digunakan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pre-ekstraksi perlakuan asam (suhu, waktu dan pH) terhadap viskositas intrinsik dan menentukan ketepatan model polynomial orde pertama. Hasil penelitian didapatkan perlakuan suhu, waktu dan pH pre-ekstraksi memberikan efek kuadratik nyata terhadap viscositas intrinsik. Viskositas intrinsik meningkat dengansemakin tinggi suhu, waktu dan derajat pH, kemudian menurun setelah mencapai maksimal. Uji kelengkungan bersifat signifikan (α=0,05) model polinomial orde pertama berbentuk kuadratik. Nilai maksimum respon viskositas intrinsik alginat 502.05 ml/g terjadi pada kondisi pre-ekstraksi perlakuan asam suhu 35 nilai maksimum respon viskositas intrinsik. Abstract

The potential of marine tourism, especially mangrove ecotourism, in Lembung Village, Pamekasan, has not been optimally promoted due to the limitations of conventional methods and minimal use of digital channels. This condition hinders the visibility and attractiveness of destinations in the digital era. This community service aims to initiate a digital transformation of Lembung Village tourism promotion by developing and implementing an integrated platform (mobile application and website) e-PesesserTour. The implementation method is participatory, involving local partners (Pokdarwis, BUMDes) in needs analysis, design, development, and implementation of the platform. The primary focus of implementation is increasing partner capacity through workshops and intensive mentoring in digital marketing strategies, content creation, and management of the e-PesesserTour platform (https://e-lembung-pesessertour.com) as a promotional tool. The results show the success of launching a functional, informative digital promotion platform that displays the village's attractions, including 3 new tour packages that have been developed. There was a significant increase in the digital capacity of partners, as evidenced by 90% of participants stating an increase in understanding of digital technology and an average score of post-training knowledge/skills tests reaching 85%. During the program implementation period, positive impacts were also observed in the form of an increase in tourist visits of up to 40%, an increase in BUMDes income of up to 50%, and a level of tourist satisfaction reaching 85%, some of which can be attributed to the rise in the quality of digital promotion and services. It was concluded that implementing the e-PesesserTour platform, supported by strengthening HR capacity, played a significant role as a catalyst for the digital transformation of Lembung Village tourism promotion, increasing the visibility and competitiveness of the destination sustainably.

Abstract

Ibu PKK dan karangtaruna merupakan mitra pada kegiatan kosabangsa yang mana terletak di Desa Batuan yang merupakan salah satu desa yang termasuk dalam wilayah Kecamatan Sumenep. Kondisi perekonomian masyarakat Desa Batuan masih dibawah rata- rata, dimana pada kelompok ibu PKK dan karangtaruna belum tersentuh dengan teknologi inovasi kolam portabel, produk turunan dan digital marketing sehingga rendahnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknolog tersebut, Selain itu tingkat pendidikan yang tergolong rendah juga menjadi pemicu kondisi akibatnya pengembangan usaha sangat sulit dilaksanakan. Pada Ibu PKK dilakukan pendampingan penyelesaian masalah, model perencanaan budidaya ikan wader, dan aspek produksi hasil turunannya daripada ikan wader menjadi wader crispi sampai dengan aspek pemasarannya. Target dari pengelolaan kolam budidaya ikan wader ini akan didapatkan peningkatan kuantitas produksi ikan dan yang diikuti dengan peningkatan pendapat dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi kelompok tersebut. Mitra Karangtaruna dilakukan Pendampingan, Pelatihan dan Digital Marketing dimana Target dari pengelolaan kolam budidaya ikan wader ini akan didapatkan peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi ikan yang diikuti dengan peningkatan pendapat dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi kelompok tersebut. Luaran yang sudah dihasilkan dari kegiatan tersebut berupa publikasi media massa, artikel jurnal (in review), dan mahasiswa MBKM.
