Abstract

Potential Empowerment of Community Houses into Homestays in Pao Village, Tombolopao District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Empowering community houses into homestays will increase the community's economic income. This community service activity aims to assist the community with the benefits that the community will feel if Pao Village becomes a tourist village. Another goal is to find out the potential of community houses for some of the rooms to be rented out as homestays. The method used is observation and interviews with homeowners whose houses have the potential to be used as homestays. The community houses that were observed were houses recommended by the village government that had potential. The results of this assistance show a positive and enthusiastic response from homeowners if their houses become homestays.

Abstract

The people living in the Kassi Village still maintain their customs well and have a reasonably high social value. The agricultural potential of the village is that it is possible to use it as a tourist area without reducing the agricultural activities of the local community. This study aims to determine the potential of Kassi Village as a tourism village and identify strategies for developing agro-tourism-based village potential. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using descriptive analysis, and a SWOT analysis is carried out to determine the potential development strategy of an area. This study's data collection techniques used interview techniques with informants and field observations. The results showed that Kassi Village, located in the highlands of Jeneponto Regency, has abundant natural resource potential and agricultural and plantation areas. The SWOT analysis results found appropriate strategies to develop Kassi Village into a tourism village based on agro-tourism. These natural resources can be used as tourist attractions based on agro-tourism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran kemasan ramah lingkungan dalam mempromosikan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Soppeng. Penelitian ini menyelidiki praktik inovatif dalam menciptakan kemasan makanan dan minuman yang ramah lingkungan, memeriksa kolaborasi yang diperlukan untuk sumber bahan dan pelatihan kemasan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan kemasan tersebut. Dengan mengeksplorasi aspek-aspek ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan berharga bagi bisnis dan pembuat kebijakan di sektor pariwisata, dengan menekankan keberlanjutan dan tanggung jawab lingkungan.

Abstract
