Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekuatan tarik geser pada sambungan pelat mild steel yang disambung dengan rivet berbahan dasar Al-440 dengan variasi jarak rivet. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan pada Laboratorium Ilmu Logam Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan membuat spesimen dengan variasi jarak paku keling (rivet) 4D,5D,5D, dan 7D. Untuk mengetahui kekuatan material dilakukan uji mekanik dengan dimensi merujuk kepada standar ASTM 208-R072 (uji tarik geser). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa kekuatan tarik geser maksimum pada pelat mild steel yang disambung dengan paku keling (rivet) berbahan dasar Al-440 dengan variasi jarak terjadi pada variasi jarak 7D dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 1605,00 N. Abstract This study aims to determine the shear tensile strength of mild steel plate joints joined with Al-440-based rivets with variations in rivet spacing. This research activity was carried out at the Metal Science Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus Makassar. The method used was to make specimens with variations in rivet spacing of 4D, 5D, 5D, and 7D. To determine the strength of the material, mechanical tests were carried out with dimensions referring to the ASTM 208-R072 standard (shear tensile test). The results showed that the maximum shear tensile strength of mild steel plates joined with rivets made from Al-440 with variations in distance occurred in the 7D distance variation with an average value of 1605.00 N.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui kekerasan pipa akibat posisi pengelasan 5G dan 6G terhadap kekerasan dan ketangguhan pipa hasil las. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan bulan Juli 2023 di Laboratorium Fakultas Teknik Program Studi Teknik Mesin Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus dan Balai Latihan Kerja Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan pipa Sch mild steel 40 bahan dilas dengan menggunakan pengelasan SMAW dengan Arus 100 Ampere dengan menggunakan jenis kawat las nikko steel RD- 460. Pada hasil pengujian impak, nilai tertinggi yang didapatkan sebesar 4,446 J/mm2. Pada hasil pengujian kekerasan, nilai tertinggi pada uji kekerasan didapatkan sebesar 107,76 HR. Abstract This study aims to determine the hardness of the pipe due to the 5G and 6G welding positions on the hardness and toughness of the welded pipe. This research was conducted from June to July 2023 at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Paulus Indonesian Christian University and the Makassar Vocational Training Center. This study used Sch mild steel 40 pipe materials, welded using SMAW welding with a current of 100 Amperes using RD-460 nikko steel welding wire. In the impact test results, the highest value obtained was 4.446 J/mm2. In the hardness test results, the highest value in the hardness test was obtained at 107.76 HR.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kekuaatan tarik pelat baja ST 38 akibat metode pengelasan asetelin dan untuk mengetahui ketangguhan impact pelat baja ST 38 akibat metode pengelasan asetelin. Pengujuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dadalah pengujian tarik (Tensile Test) dan pengujian ketangguhan (Impact). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pengelasan variasi kampuh berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan tarik material, pada kampuh I diperoleh 226,750 MPa, dan pada kampuh V diperoleh 441,639 MPa, pada spesimen normal tanpa pengelasan diperoleh nilai kekuatan tarik sebesar 640,833 MPa. Pengelasan dengan gas asitelin variasi kampuh berpengaruh terhadap ketangguhan pada kampuh I diperoleh nilai ketangguhan 268996,44 joule/mm2, dan pada kampuh V diperoleh nilai ketangguhan 8088059,86 joule/mm2, pada spesimen normal tanpa pengelasan diperoleh nilai ketangguhan 268996,44 joule/mm2. Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the tensile strength of ST 38 steel plate due to acetylin welding method and to determine the impact toughness of ST 38 steel plate due to acetelin welding method. The tests used in this study are tensile testing and impact testing. The results showed that the variation of potent welding affected the tensile strength of the material, in potency I obtained 226,750 MPa, and in potency V obtained 441.639 MPa, in normal specimens without welding obtained tensile strength value of 640.833 MPa. Welding with potent variation asitelin gas affects toughness in potency I obtained a toughness value of 268996.44 joules / mm2, and in potency V obtained a toughness value of 8088059.86 joules / mm2, in normal specimens without welding a toughness value of 268996.44 joules / mm2 was obtained.

Abstract

To ensure the quality of welded joints in the hull area, welding testing is very important and must be carried out. But unfortunately, currently the quality testing process of welded joints was still limited to penetrant tests and lime tests. The purpose of this study was to obtain a portable welding testing machine that was able to obtain fairly accurate test results on hull welding defects using a vacuum system. The research method is experimental by involving data collection through field experiments, testing is carried out with the resulting weld defect research subjects and the length of testing time on 1G and 3G position welding. The results of the study by compared tests among Welded Vacuum Testing (WVT) machines, Magnetic Particle tests (MP), and Penetrant Tests (PT). The three experiments detected leaking weld defects, spark sparks, pinholes, overlaps, and undercuts. For test results with machines made, welding defects that were successfully detected were leaks in the 1G position welding workpiece and undercut in the 3G position welding workpiece. Air bubbles at a vacuum pressure of 0.2 bar are detected, meaning that there is a defect in the welded joint. This tool can be used in bilge testing.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis study includes the publication of banana chip machines in Indonesia from 2003 to 2023. The number of studies related to this research tends to increase every year with an annual growth rate of 60.5% with a total of 989 articles. The study aims to provide insight into research trends and patterns surrounding banana chip machines in the country. A bibliometric approach is used to analyze a collection of relevant scientific articles, conference papers, and other scientific publications. The analysis covers a specific time period and investigates various dimensions, such as publication output, research collaboration, citation patterns, and keyword frequency. The findings reveal the growth and impact of research publications in the field of banana chip machines in Indonesia, highlighting key contributors and their affiliates. In addition, the study identifies emerging research topics and suggests future directions for further exploration. The results of this bibliometric analysis serve as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders interested in understanding the banana chip machine research landscape in Indonesia and making informed decisions in related fields.
