Abstract

Adolescents are expected to be the next generation capable of bringing positive change. However, adolescence is also a period of seeking recognition and self-existence, making them vulnerable to engaging in behaviour that violates norms and laws, commonly referred to as juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency not only affects the individual but also those around them. Thus, efforts are needed to minimize such behaviours. This activity aims to provide elementary school students with an understanding of the negative impacts that can arise from juvenile delinquent behaviours, both for themselves and others around them. The participants were 52 fifth-grade elementary school students, 25 females and 25 males. Through the socialization activity, students learned about behaviours that fall under juvenile delinquency, the causes, the impacts on themselves and others, and applicable laws and sanctions related to juvenile delinquency. Several changes occurred in the participants' cognitive aspects before and after the material was presented. The socialization conducted served as an initial step to minimize juvenile delinquency. Future programs may focus on empowering teachers and parents to prevent and reduce juvenile delinquency. Remaja diharapkan untuk menjadi generasi penerus bangsa yang mampu membawa perubahan positif, namun masa remaja juga merupakan periode untuk mencari pengakuan dan eksistensi diri sehingga remaja rentan untuk melakukan hal-hal yang melanggar norma dan hukum yang berlaku, yang dikenal dengan kenakalan remaja. Kenakalan remaja tidak hanya berdampak pada diri remaja saja, namun juga orang lain di sekitarnya, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meminimalisir perilaku tersebut. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa-siswi sekolah dasar mengenai dampak negatif yang akan terjadi akibat perilaku-perilaku kenalakan remaja, baik untuk diri sendiri maupun orang sekitar. Peserta kegiatan merupakan siswa-siswa kelas V sekolah dasar yang berjumlah 52 orang, terdiri dari 25 perempuan dan 25 laki-laki. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, para siswa mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai perilaku-perilaku yang termasuk dalam kenakalan remaja, faktor penyebab, dampak yang timbul akibat kenakalan remaja untuk diri sendiri dan orang lain, serta peraturan hukum yang berlaku sebagai sanksi atau kenakalan remaja. Terdapat beberapa perubahan yang terjadi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian materi terhadap aspek kognitif peserta. Sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan merupakan langkah awal dalam upayan meminimalisir kenakalan remaja. Program selanjutnya dapat berfokus pada upaya pemberdayaan guru dan orangtua dalam mencegah dan mengurangi kenakalan remaja.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce market competition, especially in the batik industry, requires MSMEs to have a strong differentiation strategy and product branding. The goal is to maintain and improve the competitiveness of the product in the market. Unfortunately, Zahro Batik MSMEs still face obstacles, where digital promotion efforts still tend to be simple, use social media captions that are less informative, have minimal appeal, and are not optimal in reaching potential consumers. This condition is caused by the limitation of copywriting skills which are the key to digital marketing. The purpose of this service activity is to improve the understanding and skills of business actors in optimizing marketing communication strategies through the preparation of effective and attractive promotional messages. The method used is socialization and copywriting training. This activity was attended by 15 participants who are employees of Batik Zahro MSMEs and local residents as an expansion of partners. Evaluation was carried out through individual assignments in the form of writing product promotional captions, which were assessed based on the suitability of the content, language appeal, and creativity of the message. The results achieved showed an increase in participants' soft skills and understanding, where all participants were able to compile promotional captions in a structured manner using the copywriting techniques that had been taught. This increase is expected to strengthen the brand image and product attractiveness, as well as encourage the readiness of Zahro Batik MSMEs to compete and develop in the creative industry.
