Abstract

The elderly is the most vulnerable population group during COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the vaccination uptake against COVID-19 among the seniors was considered low. This research aimed to point out the most significant factor as the recommendation for government to develop strategy in increasing COVID-19 participation among elderly. The variables are the health belief model, trust in health authorities and media, the experience regarding COVID-19, the general vaccination behaviour, and the novel contribution is the addition of the health protocol compliance as the determining factors of Covid-19 vaccination uptake action among the elderly in Indonesia. The online survey using a structured questionnaire obtained 213 respondents aged ≥55 years old. Structured Equation Modelling was employed to test the model. The result showed that the health belief model (β=0.296), trust in media and authorities (β=0.524), and general vaccination behaviour (β=0.319) significantly affect health protocol compliance. The health belief model (β=0.699), trust in media authorities (β=0.933), and health protocol compliance (β=0.406) significantly affected the COVID-19 vaccination uptake behaviour. This result gives the implication that the government should focus on improving the trust in media and authorities among the elderly. This action would improve the knowledge of COVID-19 and increase the vaccination coverage among the elderly.

Abstract

This research was conducted to design a bed shower and study the design and development of a bed shower for patient needs. The purpose of creating a bed shower is because of the lack for these tools to make it easier for nurses to bathe patients who are paralyzed or unable to move their limbs. The method used in this study uses the measurement parameters of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The results of the study obtained lightly designed tools that were the priority. The next variable that is considered is ergonomic, durable, comfortable to use and clean, and finally, the price is affordable. The design of the bed shower pays more attention to the principle of ergonomics by paying attention to the material used. Bed shower designed with three dimensions using Solid Work software with the translation of the concept that consumers want is realized by providing trolley wheels and bath pads that are easily dry and easily folded and carried. While the size of the tool with a length of 216 cm, width of 60 cm, trolley height of 107 cm, width of the trolley of 29 cm, display tools that are easy and practical, easy to clean allow tools to be separated, have durable durability with an estimate of more than 5 years , having a cheap price is around Rp. 5,000,000, - by making selected materials and maximizing the function of one pump.

Abstract

Herbs widely circulated in the powder form wrapped in packaging with certain dose. To make it easier to measure the dose, it needs to develop a new design. In a product design, packaging use is as a wrapper and a promotional materials to attract customers. Therefore, the need for designing is accordance with the taste and desires of the customer’s psychological. Kansei Engineering approach is used to translating the customer feelings and impressions into the design parameters. The consumer criteria are identified by paper-based survey and validation test is used to test the hypothesis. Supported by the test, result of this study are able to produce packaging that satisfy the customer’s psychological desires.

Abstract

Occupational accidents often occur in the workplace kitchens, one of which was during the times of frying. During frying one of the tools that cause accidents are prone spatula, then from it in carefully designed spatula which can reduce the risk of injury is based on the experience of the spatula by the user. Kano on the method used to determine the level of user satisfaction to the user experience in the use of a product. From other research on get 4 attribute that affects the user's satisfaction spatula users are safe from the stepping oil, spatula attributes not easily conduct heat, attributes spatula material is non-flammable and attributes spatula comfortable grip. Then make a proposal spatula design for the user, that is spatula design with hand protector, use of raw materials falcata wood combined with stainlees steel and approach anthropometric calculations to determine the amount of the dimensions of the proposed design spatula. So with spatula design in the proposal it is expected spatula able to provide security and comfort when in use by the user.

Abstract

This Seafood waste drying process using a dryer that works still manually using the solar system energy. This study uses a participatory method in its implementation using FGD (focus group discussion) involving researchers, local communities, stakeholders and experts. From interviews with local residents, obtained the problems faced by the Trisik local people because of the abundance seafood waste. Thus the researchers create a waste dryers tool that easy to use, easy to maintainen, easy to operate, and using inexpensive materials. Components of this include the buffer dryer, pulleys parabolic player, parabola, and a drying rack. Buffer serves as a buffer parabola, a drying rack, and stand pulleys parabola player. The function of pulley parabolic player is to pointing, so that it gets the focus point of the solar cell. While the parabola which serves to reflect the solar cell to the drying rack so that the heat is evenly obtained. Drying rack consists of 4 stages that serves to put the waste. Finally, getting the tools that efficiently practical, economical and ergonomic.

Abstract

Persaingan bisnis pada era zaman modern semakin ketat. Terutama pada bisnis produksi kain batik yang dapat bersaing sampai saat ini. Dalam supply chain terdapat kelemahan yaitu adanya perbedaan antara permintaan dan penjualan atau bullwhip effect. CV Batik Gemawang merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi batik. Dalam pengadaan kain batik di toko Bawen dan toko Banaran tidak melihat stock yang masih tersedia, namun terus menambah stock meskipun penjualannya sedikit.  Menganalisis bullwhip effect pada pengadaan kain Batik Gemawang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Pendekatan yang dilakukan yaitu kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi di lapangan dan mengumpukan dokumentasi yang ada di perusahaan. Material data  yang diambil merupakan data pengadaan dan penjualan dari bulan Juni 2019 sampai Bulan Mei 2020. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan perhitungan manual dan menggunakan microsoft excel 2010. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh nilai bullwhip effect periode Juni 2019 sampai Mei 2020 pada toko Bawen sebesar 3,2308 dan pada toko Banaran sebesar 2,2108. Nilai Bullwhip Effect kedua toko tersebut hasilnya lebih banyak daripada nilai parameter yang sudah ditentukan, sehingga mengalami penyimpangan yang jauh antara pengadaan dengan penjualan atau yang dinamakan dengan fenomena Bullwhip Effect. Nilai bullwhip effect kedua toko tersebut hasilnya lebih banyak daripada nilai parameter (1,0056) sehingga mengalami bullwhip effect. Hasil  peramalan pada Toko Bawen dan Banaran berturut-turut yaitu 5,88763 pcs dan 3,52259 pcs.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi pada mesin pneumix catalyst injection adalah terhambatnya proses injeksi yang diakibatkan mesin yang tiba -tiba tidak dapat berfungsi dan harus dilakukan kalibrasi, setting sequence atau kegiatan perawatan untuk perbaikan maupun penggantian komponen mesin. Downtime mesin yang besar berdampak pada produktivitas kegiatan produksi dan jumlah serta kualitas produk. Untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas maka dilakukan analisis penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) menggunakan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Langkah yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan pengukuran OEE serta mengetahui faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi dengan perhitungan six big losses. Selanjutnya mencari penyebab permasalahan dengan fishbone diagram dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas pada 2 mesin pneumix catalyst injection yaitu mesin A (15A107A) sebesar 52.98% dan mesin B (15A107B) sebesar 75.98%, ternyata masih dibawah standar JIPM yang menjadi acuan perusahaan yaitu sebesar 85%. Faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi rendahnya OEE adalah performance rate dengan faktor persentase six big losses pada breakdown lossuntuk mesin A sebesar 36.81% dan idling and minor stoppages losses untuk mesin B (15A107B) sebesar 63.55% dari seluruh time loss. Hal yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi dan mengantisipasi rendahnya nilai OEE pada mesin pneumix catalyst injection yaitu dengan diterapkannya autonomous maintenance pada operator produksi, melakukan training bagi teknisi maintenance, melakukan pengawasan terhadap operator tentang kebersihan tempat kerja serta melakukan sistem preventive maintenance pada komponen valve transport [RC2] sesuai waktu pemeliharaan optimum 44 hari untuk mesin A (15A107A) dan 37 hari untuk mesin B (15A107B).

Abstract

Efforts to protect the environment were useful to reduce waste of banana tree which can cause global warming from the burning waste of banana tree. One of the effort to reduce waste of banana tree was used the waste as wallet products’ material. In order for wallet products to be able to compete in the market, it was necessary to have the right design to be able to describe the desires of consumers. The purpose of this research was to design a wallet made from waste of banana tree which can fulfill the needs of wallet consumers in the process of sustainable development. Kansei Engineering was used as a method to translate consumer feelings. Validation tests and evaluation were conducted to examine the research hypothesis using a 5% significance level. Consumer desires in the form of Kansei words that were obtained were strong, durable, waterproof, attractive, simple, neat, has a string, smooth, lightweight, environmentally friendly and multifunctional. Among consumers' wishes (Kansei words), consumers wanted the Kansei words to be strong and environmentally friendly which was prioritized in wallet design. The results of this study were obtained midrib of banana tree wallets in accordance with the wishes of the wallet consumers with the criteria of strong, environmentally friendly and multifunctional, moreover attractive because it shows more the original fiber of the midrib`s banana tree.

Abstract

Karyawan perusahaan mebel khususnya dibagian produksi banyak melibatkan kegiatan fisik, yang dapat menimbulkan kelelahan, gangguan muskuloskeletal dan risiko cidera. Kelelahan pada pekerja menyebabkan menurunnya performansi dan berdampak pada menurun produktivitas. Pengamatan awal pekerja bagian produksi di perusahaan mebel di Yogyakarta, merasakan pegal–pegal dan sakit di beberapa bagian tubuh seperti pergelangan tangan, punggung,  leher dan kaki setelah selesai bekerja. Untuk itu, perlu dicari solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi hal tersebut agar pekerja merasa nyaman dalam beraktivitas. Pada pembahasan ini dilakukan perbaikan sistem kerja  dengan pendekatan makro ergonomi untuk menurunkan kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal, risiko cidera dan meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan sama subjek (treatment by subject). Hasil penelitian dengan uji beda  menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal dan risiko cidera terjadi penurunan secara signifikan dengan nilai probabilitas 0,000 dan 0,008 (p < 0,05) dengan tingkat penurunan kelelahan  sebesar 25,07 %, keluhan muskuloskeletal sebesar 10,91 %, risiko cedera sebesar 7,27%. Sedangkan untuk produktivitas terjadi peningkatan secara signifikan dengan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) dengan tingkat peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 36,96 %. Kata kunci : Mebel, produktivitas, kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal, risiko cidera

Abstract

Gunung Kidul Regency is a region of soybean producer in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The raw materials support the tofu-making industry where one of the centers of tofu industry in Siraman and Sumbermulyo Wonosari. The productivity of the tofu manufacturing process is determined on the work tool and worker performance. To increase productivity a holistic approach is necessary considering all aspects. In this research, the method used to design holistically is macro ergonomic analysis and design (MEAD). With a sociotechnical MEAD approach, it is identified control variance to avoid musculoskeletal complaints that have an impact on increased productivity. This research only makes the design with high tool filter is 1014,70 mm and width 419,9 mm. A blower tool that facilitates removal of soy water material with suction specification and press 30 m / s using 220 VA power supply and 1300 VA power with galvanized pipe as conductor of 2 inch diameter.
