Abstract

Based on the Regulation of Regent of Badung Number: 47 Year 2010 concerning Determination of Destinations in Badung Tourism Village, Badung Regency has eleven regional tourist village. One of them developed a decent tourist village is Pelaga Village located at Petang District. It is substantially developed as a community based Tourism destination. Issues raised in this research are: (1) The possibilities for what that support Pelaga Village to be developed as a tourist attraction; (2) How Pelaga village community support of village development plans such as a tourist attraction; and (3) How Pelaga Village Development Strategy as a tourist attraction.The purpose of this research are: (1) To determine the potential Pelaga Village as a tourist attraction; (2) To know the local community support at Pelaga Village of village development plans as a Tourist Attraction; (3) To know the Village Development Strategy as an alternative tourism.The data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data which a purposive sample taken. The data has been collected and analyzed by descriptive qualitative and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate, that Pelaga Village tourist attractive destination has a decent variety of tourism potential to be developed and has met four (4) an important component in the tourism industry which is known as the four A's: Attraction (tourist attractions), Accessibility (access to reach the tourist areas) , Amenity (facilities and tourism services), and ancillary (institutional and human resources supporting tourism). In addition, the local communities are involved directly in providing of tourism support facilities and in developing Pelaga Village. In the future Pelaga Village can be developed by implementing some strategies such as strategic SWOT ; SO, ST, WO, and WT strategies. The results of this study are expected can give some positive contributions in planning, developing strategies for Pelaga Village in the future time, one day it will give a good impact on the development and economic growth and social and cultural life of local communities.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has been happening since 2019, and the tourism industry is one of the affected industries. Bali is one of the affected places because most of the people work in the tourism industry, but on the other hand when the Covid-19 pandemic takes place there is one place in Bali that is still crowded with tour-ists. Kintamani is one of the places that is still crowded with tourists, especially at the coffee shop in Kintamani, because it has beautiful and exotic views of the lake and Mount Batur. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of place attachment that makes tourists loyal apart from satisfaction. The data col-lection technique in this study used a questionnaire, then the sample determina-tion technique used purposive sampling, namely determining respondents based on certain criteria, in this study the sample referred to was tourists who had vis-ited the coffee shop in Kinatamani at least 2 times. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative, then hypothesis testing using smart PLS software. The results of this study concluded that based on the t test, the t-statistical value obtained from each varibel has a value of more than 1.98 which is the standard value of measuring the significance of the t-statistical influ-ence of  each variable in this study, which means that there is a positive direct influence between place attachment  (X) on satisfaction (Y1),  satisfaction (Y1) on loyalty (Y2),   place attachment  (X) to loyalty (Y2) and the indirect influence that satisfaction (Y1) is able to mediate place attachemnt  (X) and loyalty (Y2).

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mentransformasi pariwisata di area Kintamani Bali. Ekspansi usaha pariwisata berkembang pesat dengan fakta empiris dilapangan makin banyak penyedia layanan Jeep Tour dan Coffee Shop. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kesenjangan regulasi dan risiko lingkungan berdasarkan eskpansi tersebut. Motede yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan mengadopsi model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana (2014). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jeep Tour menjadi primadona di Kintamani dengan menawarkan Sunrise di area Black Lava Gunung Batur, akan tetapi saat high season kemacetan terjadi di area Kintamani karena lebih kurang 700 Jeep beroperasi dan hal ini berdampak pada keberlanjutan lingkungan. Hal ini senada dengan ekspansi coffee shop di sepanjang penelokan main road yang tumbuh sangat pesan di bangun di beberapa titik rawan longsor tingkat tinggi. Meski demikian pelaku usaha coffee shop telah memiliki ijin usaha resmi dari pemerintah dan mengklaim sudah menggunakan teknologi terbaru dalam konstruksi pembangunan dan pembuangan limbahnya. Tumpang tindihnya regulasi ini lah yang menjadi temuan sekaligus kesenjangan, sehingga pemerintah perlu membuat suatu regulasi yang lebih jelas dan komprehensif, holistik, dan integratif yang tidak hanya mencakup aspek perizinan, tetapi juga memperhatikan faktor risiko lingkungan secara lebih mendalam.

Abstract

There was a drastic decline in the number of tourists in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 virus. This situation encourages tourist destination managers to find and formulate the best strategies to survive and recover from this difficult situation. One of the policies implemented by the manager is the implementation of CHSE. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between CHSE and the satisfaction and intention of tourists to return to Semilir Hamlet. This research is included in the quantitative category. Data sources were obtained through interviews and questionnaire distribution. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, resulting in 108 respondents. The data analysis technique was carried out using Smart PLS software. The results showed that the CHSE variable had a significant influence on the intention to return to visit. In addition, the CHSE variable also contributes positively and significantly to tourist satisfaction. Furthermore, the level of tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the intention to return to Semilir Hamlet. The results of the analysis show that the CHSE variable has a positive and significant impact on the intention to visit again through tourist satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of CHSE has a great influence on tourist satisfaction and their intention to visit Semilir Hamlet again.

Abstract

Nasi kapau is a famous culinary delight from West Sumatra. This cuisine is also well-known with the 'Uni' as the sellers. The 'Uni', or the female merchant, sells nasi kapau in a unique and distinguished way. Nasi kapau has developed into a culinary tourism attraction in West Sumatra in Los Lambuang and Nagari Kapau. This research aims to analyze the element of nasi kapau to improve the cuisine as a gastronomic tourism attraction in West Sumatra. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. In-depth interviews was done to five women that have experience in selling nasi kapau over 27 years. This research indicates the need for a development strategy to develop nasi kapau as a gastronomy tourism attraction. Storytelling is required to complete the missing gastronomy triangle to market nasi kapau. Collaborative governance is also essential in stakeholder collaboration in achieving research objectives. Empowering the community as human resources in tourism is also vital in developing nasi kapau as gastronomy tourism. Nasi kapau is already a renowned culinary attraction, but to elevate the cuisine into becoming gastronomic tourism attraction, certain measures are required as a strategic development to achieve this objective
