Abstract This study investigates the effect of employee training on job satisfaction and employee commitment and examines the role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship between training and employee commitment. A quantitative research design was used to answer the research questions. The data were collected using questionnaire instruments distributed online through the WhatsApp group network of BPKD employees in each district/city in Bengkulu Province. Data were collected at a particular time by using the cross-sectional method. The data obtained will be processed using SPSS 22.0 software to test the research hypotheses built. The effect of the relationship between variables was tested using multiple linear regression and mediated regression testing from Baron and Kenny (1986) to test the impact between research variables according to the problem formulation and research objectives set. The results of the study found that employee training has a positive impact on employee commitment at BPKD, employee training has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction at BPKD, job satisfaction has a positive impact on employee commitment at BPKD, job satisfaction partially mediates the impact of employee training on employee commitment at BPKD. Abstrak Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh pelatihan karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen karyawan dan menguji peran kepuasan kerja dalam memediasi hubungan antara pelatihan dan komitmen karyawan. Desain penelitian kuantitatif digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online melalui jaringan grup WhatsApp pegawai BPKD di setiap kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada waktu tertentu dengan menggunakan metode cross sectional. Data yang diperoleh akan diolah menggunakan software SPSS 22.0 untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian yang dibangun. Pengaruh hubungan antar variabel diuji dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan uji regresi termediasi dari Baron dan Kenny (1986) untuk menguji pengaruh antar variabel penelitian sesuai dengan rumusan masalah dan tujuan penelitian yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pelatihan karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen karyawan di BPKD, pelatihan karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di BPKD, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen karyawan di BPKD, kepuasan kerja secara parsial memediasi pengaruh tersebut. pelatihan pegawai tentang komitmen pegawai di BPKD.
